I just recently got into Moonsorrow. I heard a little snippet of "Kylan Paassa" and my jaw promptly detached from my face. And I also saw that bitchin' fan-made vid of "Tyven/Sankarihauta".
I now proudly own "Voimasta ja Kunniasta", "Kivenkantaja" and "Verisakeet". And to think I thought 15-30 minute songs was crazy talk before.
"Voimasta..." is my personal favorite, though. Much time has been spent in English class listening to it while reading/studying "Beowulf" along with Tyr's "Eric the Red" Those two albums go rather well with olden days heroic literature, haha.
Point is, Moonsorrow = excellence.

I managed to get one of the other 3 metal kids in my school into Moonsorrow after I played him "Kylän päässä". His response was "Holy s**t, did they set their singer on fire to get him to scream like that?"
He ended up borrowing my albums to upload, though. Hah.
Seems like almost nobody outside of internet-land in this area knows about Moonsorrow, though. Tis a shame really.
