Cassi glanced at the boy, then shook his head. No, no. That coat was like the techs' coats. And they were mean and scary. But Kate could fight them and they were scared of her! He liked his Kate.
"It is..." Cassi smiled as he opened the next couple of boxes in a continuing search. No clothes yet. Lots of other stuff... just no clothes. He opened another to find some of his mother's clothes. "Lookie!" He pulled out one of the pretty dresses to show his friend. Mommy had pretty clothes and she tried to make him wear boring clothes all the time. Kate had liked pretty clothes like these, too.
Cassi giggled as he fingered the frills on the dress. It could be like playing dress up!

Kliken looked up from the box that he'd been looking into to see what Cassi had found, "Oooo, that is a nice color." He said, moving closer so that he could look over what his friend was holding. It was a nice dress that Cassi's mother had, though passed finding the coloring to be pretty he didn't find as much fascination with the dress.
He did find himself peeking into the box though, to see what else was in it that belonged to Cassi's mother. He was curious because what was in the box would give him a lot of information about mothers. Or at least information about what they wore.
"She has lots of nice cloths." The fabric of some of the stuff felt soft under his hands too.

Cassi glanced over at what Kliken was finding in the box. Mommy had lots of pretty clothes, that was definately true. He nodded in agreement to Kliken's statement. "I'll wear this!" He said, happily patting the dress.
With no concern for privacy, the boy removed his wet clothing and pulled the rather large dress on. It swallowed him rather well. The little head peered out while trying to keep the shoulder straps in place.

Kliken tilted his head to the side, seeming to be a little confused. Cassi was going to wear his Mom's dress? Then again it must be better then damp clothing, right? He gave a smile, "We look like we were shrunk." He said with a giggle, referring to the fact that they were dressed in clothing way to big for them.
"So what do we want to do?" He asked.

Cassi giggled and peered down at the large dress. "We go 'splorin' now?" He wasn't too sure what the word meant, exactly, but it sounded like it would be fun! The boy tried to walk forward, but tripped over part of the dress and stumbled. This wasn't going to be too easy...

Kliken nodded his head, "Yeah, I know lots of fun places to play." He said with a happy smile. He tilted his head to the side and seemed to be thinking on it for a long moment, "Mmmm... there is Miss Kat's room, it has lots of toys. There are rooms that looks like outside, I was allowed to play in a couple."
None that were dangerous, ones like the field room or the dirt room was alright to go to unsupervised. After all they had nothing in them that could hurt the kids or endanger them like the rooms with water or tall rock structures.
"Lets see... then there are just lots of hallways and locked doors on other floors." He said with a shrug, he wanted to know what were inside of them too. What mysteries lay beyond the locked doors? Or more importantly the doors that only the D-Techs were allowed to go into.

Cassi gave a bit of a shudder at the mention of exploring the halls of D-corp. "But... techs..." He started to shake. Kate had always protected him from the mean D-techs and had often scared them enough not to come back to the chihuahuas.
Kat was nice, though. They liked Miss Kat. "Rooms like outside...?" Those might be worth braving the possibility of running into a tech. Maybe Kliken would protect him from them?

Kliken seemed a little confused before he nodded, "They don't mind, they are... always busy." He murmured, sounding a little sad about that. They were the few people he'd been around for long periods of time but it was hard to get their attention, work was what they seemed to live for.
"Take the elevator up a couple floors and then we get off, find the field or sand room. I am allowed to play there. Which would you like?" He wasn't sure which the other boy would prefer.

"Techs.... scary." The boy frowned at the thought of running into one of them. "But... rooms sound fun..." Cassi thought for a long moment. "Field." He finally stated. The rooms would be worth the risk of running into a tech. At least if these rooms were as cool as the other boy said they were!

Kliken gave a nod, "There are some who are more scary then other." He murmured, before motioning to the door, "Come on, we will go and visit the field room. Its really nice. There are flowers."
The room smelled strongly of grass, flowers, and dirt which was nice, it was the next best thing to going outside. Something he didn't do very often aside from when he wanted to sit in the shadows to people watch. While he would love to be able to go exploring one of the water rooms so that he could be allowed to swim he knew he wasn't allowed just yet. Maybe when he were older?
He walked over to the door then offered a hand out to Cassi.

"More scary?" There were scarier techs?! The boy started to tremble again, but was interrupted by one happy thought. "Flowers!" The boy gathered up the dress and happily went over to where the leech boy was. For flowers, he would brave the techs. They never took him to this room with flowers in it. Because they were mean!

Kliken didn't even think about the fact that they should leave a note behind for Cassi's mother about where they were going. He was so used to wandering around on his own that such rules weren't well known to him. He started down the hallway towards the elevator, reaching up to push one of the buttons.
He turned to look over at Cassi, "There are some that are better then others." He explained, "Some at least talk to me when I ask them things. Others are more prone to throw pencils and pens to get me to get lost."
There was a ding from the elevator as it opened up for them and he motioned to let the boy in the to big dress go in first, resting a hand against the door so that it wouldn't close until they were both inside.

"They throw stuff?!" The little boy looked terrified of that idea. The loud ding from the elevator gave him a start, but he seemed to calm a bit when the doors merely opened. He hiked the dress up once again and made his way cautiously into the elevator, peering around at the walls.

Kliken gave a nod of his head as he stepped in after Cassi, reaching a hand up to hit one of the buttons which in turned caused the doors to close after the two of them, "Yeah, but I got to be good at dodging what was thrown and the Techs that would throw things." He said, it was really a learning experience he supposed. Not only a learning experience but also a life lesson on how to avoid the bad people and find the good ones.
He looked around the elevator, it was the same one he rode up in, nothing really special about it. It was about as boring as a lot of the hallways, "The ride will be short." He rather liked this, it was different being with someone smaller then him, getting to explain things, and be... well older. He got to sound so knowledgeable about thing! He just tried to keep it out of mind that any small thing could make him cry because his emotions were a little off kilter.
"Ah-ha! Where are here." He said happily when the numbers above the door read the number that was on the level where the terrain rooms were located. The doors opened up once again allowing the two boys to leave the small elevator.

Cassi gave a little squeak as the doors closed and the whole elevator began to move. The boy clung to Kliken. The older boy was so much braver than him! He was like an older Kate... That made Cassi happy, though the thought of Kate made him sad. He wanted to see her again... He was glad the ride was short and soon over with.
As the elevator doors opened, Cassi peered out into the hallway that was revealed, slowly making his way out of the elevator. Hopefully those mean Techs weren't around, especially the really mean ones who threw things! Cassi clung close to Kliken, letting the older boy lead the way.
