"D-Don, you're hurting me," Etsuko moaned as Don grabbed her. A tear rolled down her face and landed on the top of Don's head.

"My family is one of the suspects for hiring the mercenaries, he could still try to pin it on me, and hell he might even be right," Arai said as his eyes narrowed, "And as to why, we don't know, possibly because he and I had an altercation, if so I'd be careful if I were you. He could be the target because of the Hosts he is the easiest to pick off in order to send a message to Ryuu. Then again he might just be a stray dog that is endangering the pack."
Arai leaned against the wall, "Regardless of the reason anyone who knows him, Ryuu, or myself needs to be careful right now, their life may be in danger."
Shizuko walked into the infirmary and said softly, "Excuse me but have any of you seen my sister, she looks just like me only with short hair?"

kazuma looked down he forgot that part of Arai's life" hmmm if that is the case i think this may be interesting" he mumbled to him self looking around when he heard Shizuko talk" oh yeah your sister was in there last time i checked she's probably with one of the twins right now" he looked at Arai" so your family would kill just anyone just for the fact that you know them"

Ryuu shook his head at Arai's speculations. "Some of those are more likely then others."
After listening to Kazuma and Arai go at each other's throats Ryuu decided that he'd step in, "If that were the case Kazuma," Ryuu began, "Then we'd all be dead. I really am beginning to think that this goes closer to Terrance's personal life then anything."
He turned to Arai, "I have a feeling that the call I received was more of a prank done by the missionaries to throw us off of who hired them."
"Now then, Kazuma," Ryuu said turning back to him, "We'll make an official statement once things die down here a bit."
During all of this Yuriko became more and more worried about Terrance, even after the antitoxin was admitted. She finally excused herself and walked over next to him. The doctor moved a chair near her. She looked at the doctor and smiled, "Thank you." She then sat down and began stroking his hair. "I'm so sorry Terrance," She began to cry, "This is all my fault. If I had just noticed that the bullet was poisoned I could have gotten you down here quicker."

Terrence was still pale but he was now laying quietly in the infirmary bed. His breathing and his heart beat both had a steady beat. His breathing was still a little hard but it was much more relaxed than before.
The pain from the splash of peroxide was beginning to either wear off or it was numbing his back. He gasped for air, he felt himself getting heavy. His grip on Etsuko loosened and he fell back onto the bed. "....s-sorry...Et-suko...." he panted and fell asleep.
A nervous nurse jumped as Don fell back. "Dear! Your wrist!!" She took Etsuko's wrist and looked at it. "Come come. Let's get this cleaned and wrapped. She said urging Etsuko to leave the curtained area.
Nazmun listened carefully to the three boys. Her arms still crossed, "The little munchkin is not very likely to pin it on your Swordsman, even with the possibility of your family hiring, and Maxwell was shot by a gun. But never the less its your character that throws off the little boy's possibly theories, you're the type of person who would like to do his own business,rather than hiring some thugs." She turned to Ryuu, she held up a finger by her arm, "What makes you think that you'd all be dead. But you bring up a good point on Maxwell's personal life...What prank call?" She closed her eyes. "it seems as though the Twins are completly out of the question...this is shaping up to a facinating mystery...not that I take it as a game."

Kazuma nodded" ok i'll get the statements from you when everything isn't so hectic" he said looking at Arai" i hope that wound of yours heals properly i'd hate to see you out of commission from the Kendo club" he said with a friendly smile" someone pranked called you" his attention on Ryuu again" what exactly did the caller say? mystery indeed but who in there right mind would do this" he paused" we need more info on Terrence's"

Ryuu sighed, "A bit before you can to get me," Ryuu said to Nazmun, "I got a call from someone telling me that the shot was just a warning. If in fact this is just something between Terrance and his family, then chances are the group didn't want us to know who hired them."
Ryuu turned to Kazuma, "If you want to know how Terrance is doing ask one of the nurses. I'm sure that they'll let you know."

"I guess you don't need me any longer," Arai said turning way from the group, "Ryuu, I know the underworld if you want to talk to me find me later, I'm tired now."
Arai walked towards the door using the cane. He paused just before the door. "Kazuma, I'm not so weak as to let this slow me down."
With that he stepped out of the door, slamming it behind himself.

Kazuma Laughed some to himself" always has to be the tough guy" he smirked" i really think he should loosen up a little have some fun" he poked his head back into the Infirmary to see how Terrence was doing then popped back out" well his breathing is steady again but still hard.

Nazmun stood quietly near the three men and watched silently as Arai and Kazuma walk away. Both of them she didn't really trust. Though she found it strange that she had better feelings towards Arai than Kazuma, she wondered why.
She tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. "Other than what's happened today, how has your relationship been going? You haven't been leaving her alone have you?" She asked implying Ryuu knew which 'her' she was talking about.

"Insolent fool!" shouted a woman smaking the hit man upside the head. "I can't believe someone saw you!!!!" She said hitting him to the ground and placing her foot on him. "Haven't you been trained to handle any situation? ANY CIRCUMSTANCE?!?!"
The man under her foot whimpered as she got angrier and angrier.
"That's enough. The job's been done." Said a man in the shadows with a woman's head leaning lovingly on is shoulder.
"Yes, the job's been done. I'm sure that the message will get through to Sir. Maxwell." she said seductivly, as she lifted her head and turned to another two in another corner.
"We've achieved one of our goals. Have you checked on the status of your little boy and how's he's reacting to all of this?" she asked mildly with interest.

Ryuu watched Arai and Kazuma walk off. "Things have been going well. We haven't had much of a chance to be together alone in the past few weeks." He turned to her, "I wont ever do anything to hurt her."

One of the men in the corner stepped forward. "He acted just as we expected he took care of the situation in a calm manner."
The other one sighed, "However mine did not. He actually helped."
The other man laughed, "That's because Ryuu has control over him. He knows his place."
"Don't laugh too long."

Nazmun nodded, "Very well Prince, I'll continue to leave her in your care. Remember I'm always around." She said with a finger. She uncrossed her arms and straightened out her dress, "I'll see you around, send my wishes to Maxwell please. Thank you." she said and left.

The man shifted in his seat, "Some things are made to be in a predictable manners others are not." said the man in the dark suit and red wine tie. The woman next to him uncrossed her legs and recrossed them.
She flipped her hair, "I wonder if the wretched boy's still breathing." she wondered out loud in a drawl.
Mistress Boss took a sip of her own whine. "He probably is, labored harsh breathing, burning lungs and throat. Boiling in his own skin, while he turns blue like he's freezing." she said with a devilish grin.
"How long?" the woman asked Mistress Boss.
"I give him...another..." she looked at the clock. "15 minutes tops, then all vital functions...." she dropped her class and it shattered. "Bye bye honey boi." she said thickly.
The man with the wine tie chuckled.

"Uh, yeah, bye." Ryuu shook his head, She gives me the creeps. He sighed then leaned against the wall, I should go find Yukimi after I check on Terrance.

"Don't be so sure that the boy is dead." The Gyakusatsu's agent took a seat. "Arai might be rash but he isn't a fool. I'm sure he told them about the poison."
The Kagoshima's agent came forward, "Plus the goal wasn't to kill Terrance. It was to test both boys reactions. It's merely coincidence that you were told to kill him."

Jon was sitting all by himself frustrated and ticked. None of the nurses were letting him go see his brother. Someone even found a bedside securer and locked him on the bed like he was some mental case.
Meanwhile Don was out cold from the exhaustion he was dealt with was now being wheeled to another room for further treatment and screening for anymore glass fragments.
ELSEWHERE:
The woman pouted, "HMPH!" she huffed and whined to her 'hubby'.
"That wretched child needs to be eliminated. The deal was to cut it's life lines. It doesn't serve us any purposes; degraded second class garbage. The only one that is within our interests is his biological father. Who happens to be in Japan somewhere hiding from our view." She said, "And furtha-" She was cut off by the man with a hand.
"That's enough, there's no need to fully go into the history of the boy, dead or alive the news will spread throughout Japan, Ouran is a prestegious school it will get more than enough media about a murder or an attempted murder. Which reminds me, why are you so keen to disrupt these groups of boys?" he asked gruffly.

Etsuko and Shizuko left Don's room when he was moved. The hallway had cleared and the school had calmed down. As they were walking out they saw Jon strapped to a bed in a room. They walked in and sat on the edge of the bed.
"You seem to need some help, Jon," Shizuko teased.
"Be nice, Shizuko," Etsuko said sympathetically, "Don's alright, they got the glass out, but he needs some rest."
"You look like a mess, I think you need something to eat."
"Would you like to go to the dining room and we'll make you something nice, but you have to let Don rest."

Ryuu walked into Terrance's room, "Yuriko why don't you go and get something to eat?" He looked at the monitors. Hmmm, at least it looks like he's doing fine.
Yuriko looked at Ryuu, "No I'll be fine."
"Alright, just don't be too hard on yourself. He'll be fine."
Yuriko nod ed then went back to watching Terrance.
Ryuu smiled and shook his head then walked out of the infirmary.

Kagoshima's agent sat began to pace, "My boss wants Ryuu to take charge of the family. If there are problems that he has to take charge over. He'll finally turn into the proper head of the family." He looked at the other agent, "But Arai keeps on getting in the way." He looked back at the rest of the group, "As are the members of the Host club."
Gyakusatsu's agent just glared. "Just you wait we'll soon have control."
