Vuvi saw Nyuepe off with a glare and waited until she was a ways away before huffing. He didn't care if Ny knew more about the rumors than he did. Everyone seemed to have their own version of what was going on lately. Besides Vuvi was more concerned with the lioness at his paws.
He looked down at her and frowned, ear back and mouth unsmiling. But he was clearly sad, not angry, though he'd look so from a distance.
"Oh Saburi....I'm sorry. But you do have to be more careful. Are you alright?"

Saburi lowered her head so again it would look as if she was being told off.
"I will be, I didn't expect to run into anyone. Sorry Vuvi. I am fine, just hurts a little but I will be fine, honestly." She looked up at him into those eyes that she just adored.
"Oh Vuvi, thank you so much..." She was thankful for a lot of things. She had been here a few months and in those months she had grown to love this lion though she wouldn't admit it, for though she knew he cared she didn't know how much.

"Come on. You'll feel better for a quick drink I'm sure...then I've something to give you. " He studied her, ears relaxing after a while and a smile growing. She was dear to him, not just because she was a curiousity, but because she was so different. So soft, so daft. Vuvi wanted to protect her always would. He didn't know he loved her yet but he did.
