(( House! Wow... yes... scary.... xD *pictures Kaspar at age five in a purple apron with a spatula* So...cute.... o: <3 ))
Looking over to Anatu every now and then, it seemed obvious to Kaspar that Anatu was having a good time. This made him very happy, though he could not really say he was doing much of anything to elicit such a response. Best not to dwell on such things, just... try to keep doing whatever he was doing!
Chance thought he saw Dante look at him out of the corner of his eye. But as it usually happens, by the time he had glanced over the wolf was looking away again. Perhaps, he thought, they should talk. Get things out in the open and set in stone. Obviously it could not be tonight... how annoying, mildly anyway.
Perhaps it was the fact that they were both glancing back every now and then, and Kaspar caught Anatu doing it once or twice, that he did not overreact when the tiger leaned closer to him. He would like to think that he could maintain his composure but realism denied him that little fantasy. He was no steadfast knight in shining armor. But he did manage not to flinch when he found Anatu's head on his shoulder, though his wings shivered just a little, likely tickling the tiger's cheek and neck.
Glancing down at him briefly, he blinked and returned his focus on the road. Then tilting his head to listen, his hair fell about his shoulders and spilled around Anatu's face as he spoke. To those in the back seat, it was probably a touching moment. Aww. Don't take your eyes off the road, now, Kaspar.
He listened silently to Anatu and wondered if he would be able to pull this off without actually hitting anything. He had been good in his class, and he had been learning since, but still... Even so, he murmured tonelessly, "All right..." I mean, if I can pull it off... that would be great... he thought with a nervous grin.
In fact, he was nervous enough about his driving not to be nervous about the fact that Anatu was practically cuddling with him while he was driving, whispering in his ear... He almost laughed when Anatu finally cried out, voice ringing in the angel's ear, and he swerved to miss an imaginary cat.
Chance half-watched Dante out of the corner of his eye and was finally about to say something when the car suddenly swerved, pushing him against his door. "Cat?!" Pushing himself upward to try to get a good look - this better not ruin his car - he felt something hit him from the side. I thought Dante had his seat belt on!?

Dante: e-e Im in the back seat. How far forward can I go? ))
Dante's ears perked at the cry from Anatu. He was sitting up, as he had been slouching a bit, but before he could do much he toppled over onto to Chance. The wolf couldnt keep the small cry of shock that escaped his lips. It was like the game corners which he had always despised... Ears lowering it took him a moment to realize that he in fact was now up against Chance as he tried to keep his composure and not get mad at Kaspar...
Tail swishing slightly he stayed silent a bit longer before he looked up at Chance a bit startled really, being reminded by the sight, that he was against the uni. "Sorry..." Note to self, where seatbelts! To be practically sprawled on the uni was justa smidge awkward since they had spoke little more than greetings and thank you's to each other so far.
That being the case he still had to will himself to move away from Chance.
Anatu squeaked lightly as he grinned as the car was swerved, it took all he had not to giggle. Relaxing into his seat he sighed a relief. "That was close ~" Glancing in the mirror he chuckled inwardly at the sight of Chance and Dante finding amusing. Of course Dante didnt wear seatbelts in the back...
Purring lightly he looked at Kaspar giving him a hidden thumbs up.

My family calls the game Peanut Butter and Jelly, though squishing the person in the middle is usually on purpose... xD ))
"Yeah... you all right Anatu?" Kaspar eyed him uneasily and smiled faintly when he got the "thumbs up" for a job well done. He then glanced back at the pile of fur and limbs in back. "Everyone all right?"
"Yeah..." Chance had no doubt that Dante was all right. Feeling awkward certainly - they both were - but generally unharmed. "Kaspar, if you need to pull over for a minute, go ahead."
"I'm all right..."
The unicorn thought he saw something strange in the expressions of those up front. There was definitely something fishy going on, and at this point Kaspar was destined to get an earful on the way home for all of it. But right now he had a wolf sandwiched against him to deal with.
Chance held Dante's arm as he reluctantly started to move away. "Are you all right?" he asked quietly. The answer was obvious, but only if one were referring to just this little incident. Chance watched him intently.

I had planned on replying last night but I got distracted... >>; XD; ))
"Im good ~" Anatu snuggled comfortably in his seat as he purred lightly, glancing ever so slightly at Kaspar then to the back again before looking out the windshield.
Ears resting back against his head he blinked a moment at Chance and him having grabbed hold of his arm, which made him stop even though it wasnt all that forceful...
At the question the wolf's tail swished lightly. Was he okay? Meeting the others gaze he didnt know if there was some hidden meaning thus he he gave a, "I'm fine..." but he didnt move out of Chance's reach.

"I'm glad." Kaspar wore a smile as he drove. They were almost to Anatu and Dante's place.
Chance watched him a moment longer, ears swiveling as he did. His thumb rubbed Dante's arm where it held him before finally letting go entirely. He nodded. "All right."

How odd... Watching Chance a moment he glanced down as he felt the others thumb rub his arm before looking back at Chance, his features giving away nothing besides almost mild confusion. Was he not supposed to be okay? Tail flicking lightly he sat up completely when he was released finding it no longer necessary to be flush against the uni...
Looking out of the window Anatu watched the familiar streets. Glancing in the back he saw Dante was sitting straight again before deciding to speak. "It's really very kind of you guys to give us a ride... I hope it wasnt too far out of your way."

On a side note, some random trivia: what is odd is Chance's eyeballs. They have no whites or pupils. xD ))
Taking Dante's response at face value, Chance straightened and looked out his door's window, balancing a hoof on his knee. It was a strange feeling, watching from the back seat of his car. He looked forward as Anatu spoke, but left replies to Kaspar.
The angel smiled and glanced at Anatu for a moment before turning onto their street. "It's no trouble."

Dante's tail flicked slightly as he resituated himself from the tumble. His ears perked at the sound of Anatu talking. He stayed quiet though he was grateful for the ride too...
Anatu returned the smiled before tilting his head back in a pathetic attempt to look at Chance in the back, "Would you two like to stay for dessert or something?" He looked at Kaspar quietly. "I made a cake this afternoon~"
He was still aware of the fact that they had eaten already and that there was in fact a piece of pie by his feet on the floor, but he figured he'd offer... If they didn't accept, maybe he'd make a plate of cookies or something to give to Kaspar when he came by again as a thank you.

( Literally beady! x3 I think of them like marbles... >> But when I do that I think how I'd like to pop them out *likes marbles* and that's just gross. I'd be like Bai Ling in The Crow... x_x; )
"Er..." Kaspar half-glanced over his shoulder. He was nowhere close to making eyecontact with Chance and in fact ended up looking at Dante instead. Glancing in his mirror did not help much either as the unicorn was watching Anatu anyway.
"You have dinner to attend to and we've already been out to eat. The offer is appreciated though." Chance finally met Kaspar's sheepish grin with a smirk. It was generally agreed without saying that it would be a bit awkward anyway.
Kaspar looked back at Anatu with a smile. "Right... thank you anyway, Anatu." With that, he pulled into the driveway and was parked a moment later. The angel pulled the keys out after shutting off the car. "Let us help you with the bags though?" He glanced back at Chance, who shrugged.

Anatu's tail flicked as he smiled. "Okay ~ Maybe another time."
Dante's ear flicked lightly as he couldnt help but blink . Was it that Anatu was impervious to the awkwardness just in general or did he just not care? He sat qiuetly as he listented to the small talk being done. Oh ~ They were here. He heard the offer and as usual said nothing... maybe it was the fact he was hungry? Nah...
He waited a moment after they were parked before starting to open his door. Anatu was doing a great job at taking care of the conversation...
Ears perking at the offered help he purred. "Oh that would be nice ~" He wasnt worried about Dante's lack of conversation...

"I'd like that." Kaspar smiled at Anatu before getting out and carrying the keys to the trunk to unlock it.
Chance on the other hand, was not sure whether he'd like that or not. Small talk was nice - for a while. If he really wanted dessert and a chatty atmosphere, he'd just visit Anatu's shop. Though if Dante was likely to be there, perhaps he wouldn't. It was not that he particularly cared to avoid the wolf, Dante just seemed overly awkward. But as usual he was not interested in talking about why. That was fine with the unicorn; shrugging it off entirely (he did not feel awkward), he effectively ignored Dante's discomfort (and the fact that he'd opened his own door - d'oh, well...no biggy).
They each took a couple of bags and carried them to the front door, waiting for it to be unlocked.
( not sure where to go with this, so the last paragraph/sentence can be modified if needed. :3 )

Anatu got out of the car and made his way to the door so the other two wouldnt have to carry the bags longer than needed. Unlocking it he moved inside attempting to take his keys from the lock though he kept the door open for them. "Sounds terrific. We can set a day maybe next time you come to the shop?" Tail flicking he tried to work the keys out. He always got stuck on locks...
Dante followed and stopped when he saw Anatu trying to get his keys out he chuckled lightly and gave a small shooing gesture with his hand. "Let me help..." When the tiger moved he played with the keys alittle before taking them out easily and passing them to the other.
It seemed like sort of a given where the kitchen was since both Kaspar and Chance had been to the house but the tiger pointed it out anyways after saying a thank you to Dante. "You can set them on the counter~" He purred and smiled warmly as he made his way to the said area.

"Set a day? Like a..." Kaspar trailed off, staring at Anatu's hands as he fumbled with his house keys. He blinked to clear his vision as Dante took up the tiger's position and pulled the keys free of the doorknob.
Chance elbowed the angel lightly, standing beside him on the porch for the time being. "Date?" He grinned at Kaspar after finishing his sentence for him in a very quiet voice, then followed Dante inside. Chance did not hesitate when Anatu indicated the counter tops, even though he had been here only a couple of times.
Bringing up the rear, Kaspar was quick to slide the grocery bags on the counter. He felt a little flustered to say the least.
Already leaning against a cupboard with his arms across his chest, Chance grinned in amusement. Something occurred to him suddenly; he spotted Dante and moved over to him, then took him lightly in hand. "Say, can I have a word with you?" Starting to guide him out of the kitchen, he glanced back at Kaspar. "We're all here now, why don't you two just come up with a time now? You can help Anatu put that stuff away while you're at it. We'll only be a moment..." If anyone could bring Kaspar out of his shell, maybe it was Anatu.
"Er, yes, I suppose we could do that..." Receiving a glare from the unicorn, Chance's support seemed more than evident. So he cleared his throat and straightened. "What would be a good time for you?"

Anatu had started rummaging through bags once they had been set on the counter. He thanked Chance with a smile before he continued to rummage through the bags pulling out what he could find of the spaghetti ingredients... He made his own sauce ~ Ears perking he stopped a moment at the suggestion. "Oh ~ Thatd be good too."
Quietly he contemplated Kaspar's question, ears going back lightly he tried to think... "Well, today is... Wednesday..." He thought a moment about it... "This Saturday might be good. I could make dinner and some dessert." He pondered the thought and grinned, liking the idea of having dinner guests, especially Kaspar.
Glancing in Chance and Dante's direction he watched not saying a word, he gave a small smile... Dante was a big boy ~ maybe it'd do some good to have a chat.
Dante was setting down bags as he just listened quietly as plans of dinner were being discussed... Tail swishing behind him, he was about to start putting things away when Chance caught his attention asking for a moment in the hallway. He didnt really reply before his arm was taken and he was guided from the kitchen.
As for the reason of leaving, he wasnt quite sure but he had no problem with it. Chance would explain himself. Tail swishing behind him lightly he glanced at Chance curiously.

Kaspar eyed the bags knowing where nothing went. Strike that, he could go for the fridge... Taking note of which items Anatu wanted to use for dinner, he left those and pulled out a few a few perishables. He went over to the refrigerator and started putting them away. He's going to make dinner? It seemed like an imposition, even though Anatu obviously enjoyed cooking. That had been evident since they first met. Even so, it left Kaspar thinking he should do something in return. Contemplating, he looked for a couple other items.
"Well if you'd like to make dinner, perhaps I can come early and help out." He grinned faintly and looked back at Anatu.
Once they were out of the room, Chance glanced back toward the kitchen doorway with a small smirk. "Thought we should give them some time alone. Kaspar's a little shy." As if that wasn't obvious.
