"As you wish, my lord and most handsome master." She dipped her nose obediently to her alpha, allowing only a hint of a smile to gleam for a moment before turning her gaze fully upon the young waif. She frowned down on him, pacing in a circle around him. She poked her nose at him and snuffled here and there, face twitching at the odd smells of other places and other wolves on him. "If you wish him to someday be a contributing member of the pack, then I shall see to it he's a warrior worthy of you."
She was patently unimpressed. But then pups had never particularly interested her, especially orphans like this one. She curled a lip. "He is going to take a lot of training, but I'm sure I can toughen him up. I'll find someone else to coddle him, though." She gave a disdainful sneeze. "I'm not prone to being... a wetnurse to wandering mutts." She stepped near and grasped him by the scruff of his neck. With a teasing wave of her tail to Chernabog, Kiara carried the pup deep into the den.
She unceremoniously dumped him in the corner of one of the dark cavernous rooms. "Stay here like a good little soldier and don't whimper." Her tone was clear in its condensation. "We'll see how well you obey orders from your betters. I'll bring somebody softer and sweeter than I am to look after you." She leaned close again to whisper in his ear. "Though when it's time to train, you will get no softness or coddling. Becoming a warrior has no room for such things."
With that, she turned and trotted out, heading to her task of finding a babysitter for their new burden.

Feros grunted "I do not whimper, and I do not need softness" he muttered "I am strong and will prove my place" he said determined.
He knew he was in for a serious training program with her, he kinda liked her attitude, every other wolf he met was soft, and it made him sick.

She regarded him skeptically. Words were one thing, especially in one so young. She'd wait and see if his actions held up to his boasts. Only time would tell. It was entirely possible that the pup would hold up under the rule of such a magnificent and demanding lord as theirs, and come out the other side a true warrior. Then again, he might utterly fail beneath such rigorous rule, and his life would end. Either way, Kiara intended on fulfilling her duty.
With a final bark of command to the lone pup, she turned and loped out of the den caves, her mind on her work. She wanted this done swiftly as possible, so that she could return to her lord's side again. She'd been doing so much running around and suchlike that she'd hardly seen him since the day they'd first met. Hopefully soon it would be time for a pack hunt. Her tongue lolled out in anticipation as she darted through the natural tunnels towards the light of day.

Feros looked around as the she-wolf left, it seemed she was eager to return to the pack leader. He stifled a yawn as he walked around, the air crackled with tension as every minute was like a day.
Feros was only a pup but he felt like he had to be older, but sometimes he didn't want to act like he was. He looked around, there were no signs of anyone else, so he trotted off. He took off for the trees where the rocks jutted out. 'I wont be long' he thought to himself as he looked around the gloomy sceneries. The trees towered before him and the air was still.
