Dragging a mountain ram in his maw, it's white fleece stained with it's own blood. Only the hooves and rump of it reaching the ground from the god's sheer size. Flicking the tail from side to side he scaled the mountain cliff side and hauled the feast up to his shelter where the old Ulaya was laying. Kicking up dust from the dried rock bed, Victon lifted the ram onto the step just in front of the cave's entrance. Dropping the kill on the ground he looked up at the sky which was partially clouded, mostly left over from the previous night's storm. An upward breeze flowed through his mane, shifting it from all directions before the god lowered his head and picked up the meal again. Stepping into the shade of the cavern he slowly walked past Tsu who was currently looking around at his collections. Brushing his foot over the blanket which covered his guest, the god placed the ram down on the ground and followed it with his whole body, landing on the stone with a thump. Dirt blew out from under him and he shook his mane with an attempt to correct the hairs into their proper places.

Clearing his throat, Victon started licking his paw like a cat, cleaning the blood and dirt from his fur before looking up at the somewhat confused male and pausing. "You better eat up, it's going to be a long journey and I don't want you passing out on me with hunger." He continued to watch the male with a crossed look and sighed before lifting his body back up and stepping behind his pile of trinkets. Sifting around a smaller pile of scrolls and priceless artworks he pulled out a rolled up paper and returned to the black and white Ulaya resting on the floor. Placing it on the ground before him he unrolled it with a claw, it's tattered and torn edges making the parchment's age apparent in look. "This is what you're after I presume." He watched the other Ulaya look over the picture, an image of a stone glistening on a stone arch casted by the sunlight. "This gem, that is. It is what you seek, am I right?"

Tsukouru swiftly went to where the God had laid the ram. In hopes that quickness could get him going.. He couldn't stay here forever, and under a God's care more less. His ears prompt. "So ..you'll help me then?" He questioned as the God left his side and in to his collections.

tsu for this time when the god went, he tore a piece of the leg out along with the front of it. the need to survive even if these animals were with their own families. Its a way of life. He licked his maw of the blood and licked his paws when the god came ove rto him once more.

Peering down at the image.. His eyes grew. "I believe thats it! It has to be!" He said in almost glee though his voice did not raise- just sounded in a tone of surprise. He pulled out his sack from dropped the stones that he had found before. "I knew it couldn't be any of these.. Some too dull or too shine~ But definately this had to be it." His tail padded behind and yes, the years had grown on this male and he gave off that sense but still strong enough for any adventure it seems. "Yes.. Its the gem I speak." Finally he agreed to it and laid down. A calm was settled in to him.

"It seems the mountains is where Gods live.." His voice more like he had discovered something new.. He also found the Goddess of Dreams in the mountains while getting here. Though he had not seen the small Goddess since. Then he grabbed the leg he had pulled and bit in to it- making it more silent so he could hear any instructions in which he then would follow. Not much he could do.. But his thoughts were wary of the female.. 'I hope I find her again.. after this.. ' He wondered and which made it worth a lot in his eyes. To know how to thank this God for taking him on - he was loss of words.

"I thought that might be what you were speaking of. A mystical gem of great powers, or so it is said." He turned back around and started digging into a smaller pile on the side of the cavern. Digging out a dark brown leather bag he began filling it with items such as a dagger and map and a few other necessities. He never left without being prepared for a long journey ahead, even if he wasn't gone for more then a day or two. Releasing a sigh of energy, Victon looked around his cave and eyed a small butterfly that rested at the top by a solid gold goblet. Fixing his gaze upon it for a minute the god looked back down at Tsu and walked towards the entrance where the sun peaked through. "If we're going to get there we best leave now, it will already take a week to get there even with all of your energy." He tried to urge the Ulaya to get up for if he rested too long his body would become weaker then it already was.

The older ulaya shook his body, as though he was as large as the god. In spirit. But it was just the fact that he was not getting any younger. His bones had almost seemed to fail him but he wouldn't let that show. Of course not, he was Tsukurou- the teacher and a teacher that had it in him for just ONE more adventure... he closed his eyes and one could hear his bones crack and come in to place as he stood. Tall and watched as the other scrambled to get his things. Yes, one needed to always be ready. He nodded as the God invited him, and turned his body as he padded forward out of the mouth of the cave.

When he turned around to look back at where he stayed.. he too saw the butterfly. He always observed his surroundings but somehow.. he missed that one butterfly, or was their more? He turned and with that thought in his head- he followed after the God. "That gem, I hope it is the one I speak of. If its to heal the heart of a broken mother, I will go far to find it. No matter the cost, God. Just point me in the direction and I shall follow with all myself." Giving a nod as he walked maybe a foot behind the god, but they seemed side by side but slightly further apart.

His peg leg making it even harder to really move, he was once used to it but it seemed that with the laying and cold weather. It was slightly more aching but he didn't mind it too much. Who would- if their heart was set on something and nothing could make it falter. The one golden eye as he looked out to where there were going, he didn't have a doubt that the God was leading him in the right direction or not. He was full hearted in his endeavorer and he wouldn't come back without it!.

Victon's paws padded the ground as they exited his home, he snorted at the wind as if to demand it to go away for a little while. Glancing behind him from the corner of his eye he mumbled under his breath with an attempt to shelter his words from his company. "If you must stay then watch over my things." Another puff of breath towards his cave entrance and he continued on their journey, his mind almost bothered by the little intruder resting on the roof of his home.

The wind was stronger than usual, making the scale through the mountainside difficult as it pushed against the god's body. Looking behind him every so often to check up on Tsu he would call out once in a while to make sure he was still all there, knowing his mind was probably wandering much like his own. He hadn't gone on a quest for a long time, he was too distracted to bother with long journeys lately. But when the old cat ulaya came to his doorway with travels on his mind it was still difficult to turn it down, even as distracted as he had been. "Only a few miles more before we reach the valley and it will be a little easier for our travels. Most ulayas passing through here take this path so it is well worn from the traffic." But well worn for him meant less rocks as it was made apparent that the path was just as bad as the rest of the trail they had been on. Trying to think of a better way around the mountains for the smaller ulaya was more difficult than he had though it would be. Victon had never gone on his travels with another ulaya, it was always a solemn thing, this was much different than he knew.

The valley brought one good thing, as they got deeper and deeper into it's open field the wind was being blocked by the mountains surrounding them. Sighing at the easier travel weather the hoarding god decided this was a good place to rest and get themselves together. Dropping his bag on the ground beside his feet, Victon looked over to the other male who was showing the journey a little more on his face. He was surprised, however, how strong the normal ulaya was, even if he was just putting on a show for him. It was hard to find others that could handle the things a god does daily, let alone one the age of this one. "A rest would be good for the both of us I think." He decided to state before resting his rump on the ground. Although he didn't need a break himself, he knew the other one must have been waiting for this to come for a while now.

His body, yes had taken a tole but he was destined to find this one stone. Just that stone, and with that symbol in his mind. It was hard to shake him, especially when the God said to merely 'protect' his things. He shook his head and quietly followed behind him but he could see that the journey was long and hard. No- he couldn't just wait behind and let someone go on the journey for HIS own gain. It was his 'friend' that needed to be healed, meaning he had to do at least something!

The words were reassuring and with his past travels, this male knew some lands well enough to cross them blindfolded but those of the gods.. Were unknown and only something but an obstacle to him. He had to overcome it. The winds blew his mane, though not as long as the God's it was longer than an average ulaya thats for sure. Waving through the air, he kept forward. Warring down his wooden foot. Enough to cause a slightly accented limp. After a few miles he slowed and when he saw the God go in to a sitting position.

He limped nearer and stood there looking up at him. Nodding. Rest.. Something his body was too stubborn to notice and let himself lay. Lifting his wooden peg and examining it. Seeing the cracks and worn down end. Enough to make him seem shorter on one side. "In this time then- I must take a quick look around if you do not mind, God." Bowing his head before getting up again with some cracking noises here and there before slowly limping away to find bark to carve.

When he did find it, he trailed back with a semi dry wood that must have been a thick thick branch before. He settled it down where he planned to carve. Went out again to find just the perfect rock to then bring it back. He didn't mind it as he had to replace something he didn't have... He'd done it a couple of times that it was like routine. Laying down as he started to break down the smaller branches that extended out before started to carve. It would take a few hours but he hoped that he could get it done before they left but could easily continue if they did stop again. The sounds of him carving carried out through the walls and thought little of it.

The god watched with amazement as the ulaya began creating a whole new leg out of fallen wood from a tree nearby. This was something he hadn't ever seen before in all his years upon the earth, something that shocked him, which didn't happen quite often. Usually if the god needed to replace something he'd just go find another one, but to make one of your own like it was nothing was quite different for him indeed. He continued to watch him with amusement without making it look like he was staring at the old cat ulaya, but he was too impressed to look away, it made it quite difficult on him but he tried to manage it. Laying his body down to the grassy ground, Victon rested his chin upon his forearms and closed his eyes, listening to the carving of dead wood echo between the valley walls. Their journey had still just begun and they were here killing time, he wanted so badly to just get up and go but didn't have the heart to make his companion work on a journey as a god would, he was more youthful than him after all.

The sun was high in the sky before long, showing that the day was continuing on without them, urging them to get back to their journey. It's heat began beating down on them, warming up the god's back as he continued to lay on the valley floor, enjoying the cooling breeze that chilled him at the same time. He enjoyed the conflict between the two, it was like a battle of nature fighting over his attention with him as the prize. Victon looked over to his friend whom was still working hard on his new peg leg, he made it obvious that he likes to get something done when it needs to be instead of waiting for a better time that might not come later. Flicking his tail so to send the hairs dancing in the wind, Victon rested his head down again and closed his eyes to take a quick cat nap, knowing the cat ulaya would nudge him awake when he was finished with his task.

The carvings and shavings were his amusement and his life line. This journey still. Has costed him strength, and a leg. Though that wasn't exactly a problem, for the reward he would get. A smile. Just... a smile and thats all that really counted for all the hard work. Shavings become regular as the wood started to take form to a peg leg. This time, thicker and slightly heavier as he didn't wish to make another if he had to make the God wait a second time. It was the cost of sailing the seven seas and the eight lands. Kracken. A deadly monster he had- or so the story goes. Took his leg and broke it in to minuscule partials but still he longed for the sea..

Finally after an hour or two. He pulled off the peg leg he did have- aching and holding in a hiss before resting his nubbed leg. Wiggling it around a little to loosen the muscles from being contained and used for that long in a tiny place. His nub had grown too accustomed and as so. Hurt. Resting it just a few moments before already starting to pat it down with his other paw. Then, got up and looked lopsided as one side was; in height, taller. To fix it- he started to tap in to it, though sounding soft. It started to sink in a little more but the sun was so dry and hot, it gave it no wiggle room to form to his nub. Which was fine- in these conditions one had to be prepared.

Taking a few steps to feel out the new leg. Cracking the bones a little to get them used to the more tighter wood before looking over the God. He was magnificent. Like a God should be but no matter how much he wanted to know- he couldn't come to grips on why he had agreed to help. He had little to give in return but somehow. He agreed and that made him want to not further burden the God. Bowing his head before slowly padding over. Lowering his head and softly nudging. The hot sun killing him from his bark pelt but wouldn't say it aloud. No- he was immune to acknowledging the pain as he knew it would pass and one would STILL have to move on.

"It took longer than expected.. but we can proceed." The sun over head and in the valley non the less to feel 'small' compared to all the rock formations around them. "If it is what you will it. We may continue, God." Bowing and showing respect as the tough were no tougher than their grace to the gods.

Victon opened his eyes and looked up at the other ulaya, flicking his ear for a fly had decided to take home in his mane, the god's head rose from the ground and following after his body began to join it. Now in a sitting position, Victon shook his mane to let the hairs fall back into place and then looked up towards the sky. "It's still early, we can make some good time before the sun falls again." He then looked down at the new peg leg that had just been created before him, impressed on the work for he had only one paw with which to make it with, he grabbed his pouch and stood up off the ground, towering over the cat ulaya with his immense size. "Are you okay to continue onward or do you need a few more minutes? The sun is intense today and there won't be water for a while now, I don't want you to pass out before we reach some. It would be quite inconvenient to our quest if you're incapable to move." The god let out a slight chuckled to his own words, for he knew anyone would realize that passing out would put a damper on any one's day, even if they hadn't been on a long journey.

Feeling the breeze pick up he decided himself that now would be the best time to carry on, the wind will keep them cool from the sun's rays and help to bring them forward. As long as they travel with the wind instead of against it, which was working in their favor at the moment. "Let's move on." He turned his body to begin walking again, his hairs reaching forward as the wind pushed them on with his tail flapping with the air. It was, indeed, cooling the god off, he was sure it would be doing the same for Tsu. "At the end of this valley is a forest, there is a waterfall we can rest at for the night, it will provide us all that we need before we leave the area. Just hold on a little longer, my friend." He wasn't quite sure if they will make it that far or not, the valley was miles wide but it was the best way for a normal ulaya to travel, the mountain pass would have been much to hard on him, even if he had all four legs intact.

Wondering in his mind what exactly the stone was going to be used for, he began to drift his attention off the ground which he was focused on and think about other things. Things that cluttered his own troubles, distracted him from his own journeys which have been on hold for far too long now. His eyes, now half closed but still watching the ground, he continued to think of the butterfly that was on the ceiling of his cave, the butterfly that followed him all over but had decided to stay behind this one trip. Why did it do so? Why wasn't it spying on him like it usually did? Before Victon knew it, they were at the forest's edge, his attention had distracted him and he didn't realize how late it had become.

He looked over head.. He had never crossed these mountains, nor walked this path. For some reason, always thinking that he has at least been to the different places of this island but it seemed not possible if he missed this large one. He pushed on with no protest and no verbal words of pain but yes. With the new leg, it was rubbing him all sorts of wrong but he knew it would happen. He knew that's how it felt each time he made a new one. With determination he continued. Nodding to the words of the God before pushing on. The breeze in their mane and the way the ground set upon his now rubbed raw pads.

A waterfall. He thought for a moment when was the last time he had seen one. It would be a treat after going on this long mountain range journey. Thinking soully upon coming back to her. How just for that one night- he knew he would be forever with her. He just had to make it back alive but little did he know.. the journey that would befall him for journeying after something so unobtainable. Something untouchable. Little did he know what he was getting in to. The dirt hitting his legs like a harsh sandstorm waiting to happen but with dirt. Laying his ears back as the scene changed from such a rocky vast wasteland to see the waterfall the God talked about not meters away. A relieving sound came out of him. Smiling at the thought of 'almost there' sorta feeling. Savoring that.

"I am only, but grateful for all you have done. For a mortal like me, I am in your debt. Please do not worry over me- I shall hold my own to the ends of this journey. I am at your disposal." He spoke with some wise sense about him- selfless in every sense of the word.. A feel about why he had done this for a female he only met for a night but for some reason, time did not allow them to meet sooner and the ulaya was running out of time to finally be happy. When one as a mortal looked at their lives- it was so short.... To risk all of himself for someone... to be happy. After the shortness of the walk between the waterfall.

He came up and limped towards a large flattened rock next to the waterfall. Watching it for a moment, and up in to where it was pouring from. A sense of feeling one with the earth and glad to see it. Slowly he went up and to the edge of the water before lowering his maw to taste the savory water... It felt so filling yet he drank not of gluttony but slow and treasured. After the bit of laps, he rose his head, turning it softly towards the God. "I shall follow you anywhere.. to where you may lead me to find what I am looking for... I will not question. Though, I am curious..as to where we are heading so I may better prepare myself for the journey." Looking down at the new yet roughed up peg leg he had just made. Right before the male, only a few short hours ago.

Treading upon the rocks and green grass patched along the water's edge, Victon rested his body upon a moss patch placed next to a large stone. "Our journey will take us to the ends of the earth, deep in a desert lays a city of glory." The god began, telling of the story as he had last known it, unaware of the changes they will be confronted with. "A kingdom of love and gold, the ruler being the Goddess of Light herself." He closed his eyes and smiled as he remembered chancing upon the kingdom many years ago, it was one of the most pleasant places he had ever been to with helpful ulayas all over the city. "The stone you seek was created by the goddess herself, a symbol of her power, the stone of light." He wasn't sure if Tsu had known that bit of information before now or not but he felt it useful for him to know what they were really on a mission to get. "This stone, however, must not be stolen for you don't want a goddess on your bad side." Victon chuckled at himself and flicked a pebble resting by his paw, sending it to splash into the pool of water before him. "A stone like this must be offered to you as a gift from Yang herself but don't worry, if she feels you are trust worthy and knows it will relieve the pain and anguish of the one you love then she will gladly hand you it. She is such a kind hearted goddess."

The waterfall next to them was powerful and extremely high up, causing a cooling mist and a soft breeze from the force of the fall. Water would splash up at them once in a while, just adding to the moisture in the air around them. Victon remembered of his journeys around the world and all the other gods and goddess' he had encountered on the way. Some good spirited and others he would rather not encounter again but all together they had made for great journeys that he wouldn't give up for anything. Folding one paw over the other in front of his chest, the god looked up to the top of the waterfall, holding in the fact they must scale it's heights for he wanted the cat ulaya to relax a well as he could. "I will find us a meal in the morning, I know there is some animals around here I could hunt down, they all have to find water eventually." He knew once they climb the cliff side of the waterfall it was only a matter of time before they hit the desert's edge and he wanted them to have full stomachs because hunting in the heat and sands was difficult beyond belief.

He looked at the waterfall, and it's majestic way. Adoring water and it's entirety. Before his ears went up to hear the God speak. As he knew of respect, he walked down from the rock he stood at and lowered himself before laying in a separate patch of grass. Which seemed scarce except for this small oasis. Hearing the story and pretty engaged while hearing. Stories.. He loved a good story. He had many to tell, but this one topped his many stories. Even seeing a mermaid! A kingdom of glory and love. Something a good kingdom, in his mind should have and be known of.

To know such a place existed, he was lead to believe in high hopes. Hoping that the Goddess entrusted him with the task of giving the light stone to Kirara. A female in desperate need of healing and light in her life. As he life before that was not so great except for the notion of children. A sweet thing to have children, he hoped to one day have his own so he could tell the story of the great kingdom he had encountered. He nodded as the god spoke of trust. He had a lot of that, dependability. Even if it meant the worse situation, he would be there.

"The kingdom you speak of, sounds one beyond words. I am honored for you to take me there." Giving respects and on top of that, honored and proud to be on the journey he had started. It just added to how much he was willing to go through for a complete stranger. A female he met for just one night, would change his fate forever. In awe of the story Victon was telling and hoped to someday take Kirara to go see it.. and all it's glory.

The peg legged ulaya's ears went back a moment then relaxed a bit. "God, I do not want to be a burden, if I can help and aid you in whatever.. please let me know of it. As I am a tool and the begger of help and would not cause you more strain. Tomorrow- I hope." As if he hadn't already strained himself but he wans't one to complain or show it. He rested for a moment, he had already had a fill this morning and that will last him to the next morning for sure.

He lowered his head. "Please wake me if you need me in the night.." As per when he said it, it was as if it was calling.. for the midday was not venturing to the night where the heat was not so much of a problem. No, it was nice, and cool.. and was the water splashing and the strain on himself.. It was easy for the ulaya to fall in to a deep sleep..
