Kenya looked up to the sky as she sang. Her melodious voice seemed almost entrancing even though it still sounded young. The rhythm of the drum beat against the words with amazing accuracy that it seemed she was singing the part that the instrument played.
His eyes watched the sky as she sang, the clouds slowly formed into different shapes as she sang. He was able to concentrate more when he was watching the sky and he wasn't sure why. Maybe because it stayed the same yet was always changing.

Mawi Mai really never sung in front of anyone but her pride. She wasn't a big fan of singing, she knew that she was not the best, and singing was not her strongest form of song. She looked over at the male and smiled.
"What do you think?" She erged again, she nudged him a bit and sat up on her haunches looking around for a moment, waiting for his awnser. Something told her she really should get going soon but she wanted to stick around a little bit longer.

He flicked his ears when he was brought back to reality. Kenya looked back over to her and gave her another smile, "It sounded even better when you sang along with your drum." He said as he watched her and stood back up, shaking the dust out of his snow colored fur that had collected in his travels. "You really do have a lovely voice Mawi Mai."

Mawi Mai couldn't help but to blush to his words. "Thank you Kenya." She stood up and smiled as she looked at him and picked up her drum and made sure she had it on right. "Well." She said with a smile. "I have to go, my mom's probally worrying about me and I promised my sister I'd spend time with her today like we always do." She gave him a quick nod. "Good luck on your name quest. I hope to see you again soon." She smiled.

Kenya smiled and nodded lightly to Mawi. "I understand." He said and looked over her again. "I hope you have fun with your sister, and thank you." He smiled as he watched her make her way back to her pride before he continued on his journey.
