"Alright, yes I'd be happy to," she answered. Even though he was a demon, she just couldn't resist that , almost pathetic look he gave her. "Nice to meet you Cassius. Oh, and don't worry. I can certainly prevent a cold... hehe, I have my ways..." she gave him a playful smile. I haven't had a friend in a long time... Alayah knew that she didn't get along well with most other Imariquan, but she had no idea that she would make friends with a demon. They walked through the rain in the sidewalk until they reached Cassius's home.

"...I can certainly prevent a cold... Hehe, I have my ways..." Cassius smiled at her reply. "Hehe... I don't know much about Imariquan.." He walked in the opposite direction from where he had came. He shuffled close to Alayah and to him, it felt awkward because Cassius doesn't usually walk with people or make contact. He rubbed his thigh and watched the rain trickle down the edges of the umbrella he held over Alayah and himself. As they finally arrived Cassius walked backwards up the steps of the stoop trying to cover Alayah, and almost tripped but kept his cool. The door to the small apartment swung open and he let Alayah go in first. To most people the apartment looked bleak and lonely but to Cassius, it was paradise. To the left of the entry there was a table with stacks and piles of letters, papers, empty bottles, and clean tupperware containers he needed to return to the old lady that live next door. Straight ahead is a kitchenette with a plain white refrigerator and a fairly old oven. Over to the right is a flight of stairs that go up to the bedrooms and the bathrooms. "Well, this is my home... If you want I could give you some clothes to borrow and right across the street is a laundromat so I could go dry them for you.."

She gave Cassius a smile. "Alright, may I borrow something to change into? I'll take my clothes over to the laundromat if you don't mind." She wasn't particularly fond of being alone in his house. After a minute, he returned holding some clothes. "Thank you so much," she said with a smile. She walked upstairs to the bathroom. When she entered, it felt like she had stepped into a marble room. It was pure white, contrasting to the rest of the house. She slipped off her wet clothes and pulled on the ones Cassius handed her. There was a slightly baggy gray T-shirt and some dark cotton pants. She found that they were rather long, as to be expected from one as tall as him. She rolled them up at the waist, so the didn't drag the floor. When she came out, she almost looked like she was wearing pajamas. "Thank you very much for the clothes. I will return shortly. You are a very kind person. You don't deserve to have this demon within you..." And with that, she dashed out the door and across the street to the laundromat, carrying her dripping clothes.
(Thank yah Mo!)

When Alayah came down with his clothes on, Cassius thought the clothes looked like they were devouring her. "Thank you very much for the clothes. I will return shortly. You are a very kind person. You don't deserve to have this demon within you..." And with that, she dashed out. "...You're welcome." Cassius was thinking of something to do for when she got back. Aha! Tea, I'll make some tea. He skipped over to the kitchen area and opened a barren cabinet. Oh.. I know I have some tea in here somewhere... He felt around trying to find something remotely close to tea leaves. He found 2 teabags and set them on the counter. He bent down and opened another cabinet and he retrieved a Tea kettle. Cassius walked over to the faucet and he filled the kettle with water, barely at the brim. He fired up the burner on the stove. ...Hmm... I wonder when she'll get back... Cassius decided to wait, so he paced.... After he got tired of that he plopped down on the floor and started to drift into sleep.
(Lol, you're welcome...?)

Alayah opened the door to the laundromat and stepped inside. She stuck her clothes in one of the dryers, pressed the 'on' button, and set down on one of the benches. As her clothes tumbled around in the small dryer, she heard people next to her talking. "...But he was nice to me. He didn't do anything wrong--" said the voice of a small girl. "You should be ashamed of yourself! You know what those idiots with the Blue Flame are like. 'blah blah blah, you suck, you don't have the blue flame, blah blah blah, you don't deserve to live, blah blah blah.' I can't have you being friends with that scum. Just tell him you never want to see him again, or you won't be fed from my household. you don't even have to tell him why, just keep it a secret." This was the voice of a mother, rigid and stern and full of loathing. The girl started to cry. With each second, the word 'secret' seemed to echo within her mind. Suddenly, her past came flooding back to her. She saw her parents bodies strewn out on the floor with blood splattered all over the wall. All because of secrets. She noticed her hands clenching into fists, as her shoulders tensed up. Standing up, she faced the woman with evil in her eyes. "You're wrong about everything. You can't even begin to understand this girl. And for that... You don't deserve to live..." She held out her hand, and black glowed from it. Swirls of the deepest black, with strands of gray engulfed the woman.
She opened the door to Cassius's apartment, her eyes wide with terror and guilt. She was still wearing Cassius's clothes, but her hair was scraggly in her face, with hints of black in it. She collapsed onto the floor, clutching her head with horrified eyes.

Clyth walked in the alley ways of the streets looking for some leftover meats from a deli shop maybe. He was pretty skinny. He noticed the rain and sheltered on the stoop of a house. He had saw a girl enter it not too long ago, bit he didn't really care... He fell asleep unaware of what to do next.

Alayah looked up at Cassius with horrified wide eyes. "Y-you don't know what I've done..." she said, her voice shaky. Now that she had trapped that woman in her own darkness, there was no going back. Her hands shook from her own inner desires that had surfaced. "No..." she said, looking down at the ground. "I-I need to go..." she said, standing up shakily. "You've been very kind to me... thank you." She opened the door and stepped out into the rain. If fell cold against her skin and dripped down her body, but she didn't notice. She was in a trance of her own emotions. Yet somewhere, deep within her, something well beyond the knowledge of any other being, let alone herself, something grinned with pleasure. "Why...?" she said to herself, as a tear ran down her face. You wouldn't be able to tell it from the rain.

Clyth heard foot steps. His eyes shot open, and he jumped backward. He ignited his fist's, put them across his chest, and assumed defensive position. He saw an Imariquan girl. She looked tormented. He tried to dash away, he was not going to deal with an Imariquan, but he tripped and scrapped his knee. He started grasping it, the pain throbbed. A shard of broken glass was inside the wound. He looked at her wide eyed... He was defenseless. "Stay back!" Clyth warned.

When Cassius woke the teapot started to squeal, but that's not what woke him. Alayah came in looking like she was in a frightened daze. "Ah-Alayah... What...What's wrong...? "Y-you don't know what I've done..." "Eh... Uh- I made some tea..." Cassius didn't know why she was acting this way, just a couple minutes ago she was just fine.... Did something happen at the laundromat? "No..." Still horrified she looked down. "I-I need to go... You've been very kind to me... Thank you." She took off, Cassius sat there in his own daze. The kettle was yelling and screaming, he could hear the water boiling over and sizzling on the stove top. He clenched his fists, went over to it and with one swipe the kettle and all splattered all over the small kitchen floor. Cassius stumbled out to the stoop and looked to see if Alayah was still running. He saw the familiar figure and a frail looking boy looking like he was hurt. Cassius yelled out to the boy, "Did that girl do anything to you?"

Alayah noticed a boy on the street. He was clutching his knee, which was scraped badly. "Stay back!" he said. Alayah collapsed to her knees, once again, burying her head in her hands. This boy had a rare ability. He could materialize the Blue Flame in his fists, forming a great defense against demons. She was crying, but not sobbing. I can't believe what I've done... she thought hopelessly, I'm a disgrace to my own kind... And this just proves it... She stood up again, a horrible thought entering her mind. If my past memories went away... she thought. But then I'd be helpless... I don't know to what extent... she couldn't even bring herself to finish her thoughts. A deep sense of what to do burned inside her. "No, I don't want to... " she said pathetically. Then her voice dropped down to a whisper. "but I must..." Her eyes were wide and horrified now, filled with fear and guilt. Giving one desolate look at the boy ahead of her, she placed her hands on crossed over and on her shoulders. She closed her eyes peacefully. A radiant blue light emitted from her arms, and flowing into her heart. It seemed to eat up her whole body. She appeared to be wispy and frail, covered in blue light. The light grew darker, and faded away. Her body was revealed under it, looking no different than before. After the light had disappeared completely, she fell, limp onto the ground, breathing lightly.

Clyth looked at what happened to the strange girl. She was traumatized, and now seemed unconscious... He heard the voice of someone close by. He turned and responded to the question. "No, it's more of what she has done to herself... Or was it you?" He crawled to her side. "She ain't dead... but she doesn't look too good. Who are you anyway? I can only assume the worst..." Clyth began gritting his teeth. Struggling to his feet he maned to yank the shard of glass out of his leg, witch in turn made him bleed. He Ripped some of the cloth wrapped around his arm off and wrapped it around the wound. "Well, it looks like i might have something to do with it, so it's my problem..."

Alayah's eyes fluttered open. She was lying on the street. It was drizzling from dark clouds above. There was a boy sitting there with a bandage around his knee. shakily, she got up on her knees, the stood up. She looked around with wide, mesmerizing eyes that seemed to take in the landscape. There were buildings to the right along with some alleys and streets branching off. To the left was a road with a forest on the other side. "Hello." she said in a plain voice. "Where am I?"

"What? Em... Well..." He looked to the large man. "Well, let's start with where you are... You are in a large city of people..." He couldn't really explain it to her. "Do you know that guy?" Clyth asked pointing to the man by the door. The girl must have wiped her memory... that light must have been what did it. "Oh, you can call me Clyth..."

Alayah started glowing, Cassius gazed at the scene.... Alayah looked like she fell unconscious. This doesn't look good.... He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth I can't cry... I barely know her... "ALAYAH!" Alayah got up again and started talking to the boy. He ran over to the couple. The boy's leg was wrapped up, and blood was seeping through the cloth he used as a bandage. "What's wrong with her?"
