Gash narrowly struck his target, chomping down hard with only a few of his front teeth. He stood back up as he released, pulled back, and grinned. "Gotcha again!"

That was really painful. Infact, the second she felt the teeth enter her, she cried out with pain. Stupid, stupid.. This battle was going too quick. And all in Gash's favor!
"You ain't gettin away with a win so easily though!" she teased, sending out anoter swift attack.

"Oof!" Gash was hit in the face with a few stars, but the damage was very slight. He laughed a little and said, "Little harder! I can't feel that!" He wagged his tail and bowed playfully before launching another quick attack. Hopefully, he wouldn't trip this time.

Gash cheered inwardly as he struck Krushz with his shoulder. He kept going for a few feet after the hit before skidding to a halt and turning, looking both for the damage and the white female's retalliation.

She was wearing down...She coud tell. Her breathing was starting to come in pants. "Darn you got good.." she said. She was gonna have to train more. She took a deep breath and felt her special blue star gem glow slightly as she was going to try a psybeam.

She saw the beam flash on him...She got him! Yeah! Another mental victory! She watched the results. "Is that attack better than my swift?" She giggled.

Gash reeled as the beam hit him, and he let out a loud yelp. He rose back up from his cringing, realizing that he was feeling about half as well as he was when he entered. He had to end this quick...
"I've been training hard! So have you... Ow... But I'm not done yet!" Gash unleashed his own swift attack, launching stars toward Krushz.

"Note to self: Swift is not working today." Gash growled as he watched his stars land behind Krushz, kicking up a cloud of dust from the battledome floor. His pulse raced as he leaned backwards, knowing that Krushz wouldn't miss this chance to take her turn.

She heard the stars hit something, but thankfully it wasn't her. "Oh ho ho, looks like the stars aren't in our favor today~!" It sonded corny, but she didn't care.
Seeing him jump back, she jumped forward to tackle him.

That didn't work, obviously. He was already kind of far away from her and she only covered about 1/4 of the distance by jumping. Stupid! She landed on her face and swiftly got up. Atleast it didn't hurt.. She stayed alert for his next attack.

Relieved by his friend's faceplant, Gash dared to laugh a little in his playful tone. "Careful!" His jaw shifted left and right a little as he decided to try a headbutt. Who knows? Maybe his training with the Nidokings and Nidorinos would pay off even if he didn't have a horn!
He launched himself forward with his hind paws, and set into a gallop with his forehead lined up with her, his eyes facing the floor as he covered the distance...

It worked! Gash cheered outwardly as he struck his target with extra force. The critical hit left Gash slightly dizzied, but he managed to back up without staggering. What he was feeling was nothing to what he must have inflicted!
"Thanks, Royal," he muttered under his breath as his toothy smirk resumed. How did he do? The beady red eyes watched Krushz carefully to see what would happen...

Krushz yelped and felt her legs buckle from pain. The espeon collasped. She went down too quick! She lazily opened an eye.
"Daaamn, you got god.." She grinned. "We'll have to rematch some other time.. Promise?" She grinned, competive flaring in her eyes.

Gash trotted back over to Krushz and looked down to her with a similarly competitive glint in his eyes. "You know it! I'm always up for a challenge. Make sure you train hard till then, alright?" Gash made a silent promise to himself to train, too... He definitely wanted to get tougher for next time. Perhaps, if he evolved, things wouldn't turn out so close!
"So... You need help standing back up or gettin' home?" A kindly grin replaced his competitive one as he offered a paw. She was more than a rival, but a friend. Just leaving her there didn't seem quite right.
