I didn't want her to be an 11 year old genin! That's no fun for me. heart <(^-^)> I only had her that age since Hiro was that age, but since he left hte guild its kind of pointless now.
Oh, Maya darling!! heart I was wondering about the skills for pets and I was thinking that smell and sense should be the same thing. I'm not really sure how you would use smell in normal activity. I can only imagine it being used in exercise. Could you explain it to me more? Like how would an pet use it normally on the field?

I noticed that many of the clan bonuses have been changed considerably. While I'd otherwise be fine I do see something that strikes me as being a bit of a problem. Many of the clans have " - character level to whatever skill" It seems like, in theory at least, that some characters would be at a huge disadvantage by possibly having negative stats in a certain skill. I apologize if this matter has already been adressed as I have been pretty inactive for a while, but I just thought I should mention it.

@Jong: Easyish question - the negative skills are based on clan personalities, like -char level to seduce for the Tategami humans is because of our not very feminine nature and aggressiveness. It's more personality wise, and the clan owners decide their stats, then approved by crew.
@Shuga: Smell is for hunting! And Sense is for what humans use it for, telling the difference when someone is lying to thee. I think Smell is more like a RP training skill than anything else - like Sing or Knowledge. I mean, I haven't known there to be uses for Sing in battle or in a situation like that, but hey. Also, for search missions, if there is a wounded person or someone specific that has to be hunted down - Smell is that skill you're going to use! ^___^ Does it make better sense now?

Jong: and Yes there will be skills that will fall into negatives... that all works into the system.. if you want to gain something that requires that since your clan is weaker on that , members will have to train a lot in that skill..
Example: My Clan the Orochi has + character lv to Genjutsu but a - character lv to Control... we all know that every Jutsu requires certain ranks in Control to be learned SPECIALLY Genjutsu.. basically even though my clan is great at using Genjutsu ill have to train harder in Control if i want to learn any of them... it basically balances out things..
yes at lower lvs you might end up having negative bonuses to some skill pherhaps even having to subtract from your roll instead of adding but its all to makew it more realistic.

I was thinking it would be more sense, since genjutsu and the smell of sweat when someone was under pressure when lying or something! <(^-^)> Its hard to choose. heart I just think it should replace Detect or Sense!

I think it's ok as it is - to me, detect and sense are more instinctive things, though I definitely see what you mean by the smell of sweat!
I don't remember off bat what sense and detect are, but I think if I remember right sense is to be aware if someone is lying to you, and detect is to be aware if someone is hiding.
Let's put it this way - if it replaced anything it would replace detect, since that's the 'finding' skill, and smell is more to find things than anything else. Pets have limited skills as it is, and carving out another one makes me die a little inside! LOL!
I shall, however, bring this up in the crew discussion. ^^

Sense is used to counter mental or non-physical skills, mainly the charisma skills and genjutsu. Detect is used to counter physical skills, like spy, sneak attack, hide, disguise, etc. So, I'd says Sense is instinctual/intuitive and detect is awareness.

Kane is 15 now I believe. Does that mean that after the season change to Winter he will be 16? And that on his bday, Winter 5, he will turn 17? o.O
If that is so, could I tweak Kane's age to 1 year younger <<; I want to celebrate his alcohol coming of age in the roleplay.. XDD If that's ok..

No, he won't age between season changes. Only year changes. So, on his birthday he will turn 16. Then after the Winter month is over, we'll switch to year 104 and he will be 17. Then he will stay 17 until Winter 5 of year 104.
