"Oh, chairs, cars, doors... more doors, lots of knobs on things... a jungle gym once..." he listed, looking as if he was really thinking about it. "The bathroom towel rack, my bed. My second bed. The floor." He cocked his head, thinking about it. "A xylophone." For some reason that one made him grin just a little bit.
"I heard about that one," Antony said. "I also heard you didn't break it."
"First I broke it," Chris said. "Then I smooshed it." But then he remembered Rory was there. "On accident," he added, lying through his teeth.

Rory gave Chris a very doubting look. The more she heard of this xylophone 'accident' the more she didn't believe it. But why would Chris break something like that on purpose? Now she wanted to know.
But she'd have to ask him later, now wouldn't be a good time.
"Chris breaks lots of things. That's why he's got this earring now, so he doesn't easily break things," the black and red haired girl said.

"That's a lot of stuff!" Irelia said, breaking in to a grin. She didn't know exactly how she could use this information, but it was interesting, all the same.
"Earring?" Irelia asked, intrigued. Just looking at the earring, it sparkled coyly, and Irelia had to muster her will power not to try and steal it.
Because that would probably be a bad idea, knowing Chris' abilities.
"I'm not allowed to pierce my ears," Irelia stated, after some time of uneasy silence, "besides, it would probably look funny in mine."
Irelia clutched at her soft goat ears, flattening them against her skull.

"It's a clip on," Chris said. "It makes me weak."
"Er," Antony pinned on. "Weaker than what he's supposed to be, at least that's what Father said." The earring had interested Shade, so Shade had told Antony all about it, whether Antony wanted to hear it or not.
"Weaker," Chris said, his tail flicking a bit irritably behind him. He hated being corrected, and Antony seemed to do it to EVERYONE.

"But at least you're not breaking things on accident, now," Rory told Chris. He didn't like breaking things, so what was the problem with being weaker? Boys could be so weird!
Then she looked to Irelia's ears. She couldn't help but think that they would be soft to the touch, but she said nothing about this fact. "But you could probably have different, smaller earrings," she said encouragingly. "Clip ons, too! So your dad wont get mad."

Irelia pondered this.
"That would probably work, thanks Rory," Irelia was on her best behavior. Finally, two kids that she wasn't either trying to show off to, or well, despised at first glance.
"Can I join in with whatever it is you guys were doing? It looked pretty interesting," Irelia gritted her teeth. Turning to Antony, she muttered, "and I am sorry for interrupting."

"Sure," Chris said. "We're waiting for Uncle Shade to come," he said. In other words it wasn't that great of a thing to join in on, but hell, if she wanted to, she could!
Antony had long since gotten used to the idea of Chris being his unofficial cousin. That made Missy his unofficial aunt, after all. And who was going to complain when an absolutely gorgeous woman was offering to be their aunt? Besides, even if Chris hated Antony, Antony rather tolerated Chris. The black skinned male was... interesting.

"Can I join too?" Rory then asked, spurred on by the idea of doing something interesting. "When Mister Shade gets back?"
Her mama had wanted her to get out of the house and enjoy the fresh air, so this was a way to do it! Besides, it had to do with breaking things and being allowed to break those things, right? And that did sound interesting.

"Sure," Antony said, inwardly sighing. It looked as if he'd be stuck with all of them longer than he had planned. Not that he had planned it in the first place. "Why not?" Sooner or later Shade would get back... probably.
