Having a lot of friends WOULD be overcrowded, and Porsche only agreed with the stallion completely. "I tend to space out a lot, its a trait I inherited from my mother apparently. So I would be distracted with keeping up with a ton of personalities.." with a shrug, Porsche realized it was something she was not that ashamed about. Everyone had things they were good at, right?! And hers was dozing off.. just like her mother!
"I am glad for your brother as well! It probably made him happy to know he has a nice personality, and that's always helpful" she then said, in more agreement. "And hey, I enjoy listening to other's speak. I can't help it! But for me.. I tend to do things on my own, if that makes sense." she then said, with a quick head-bob. "Maybe I am sort of like a loner? I like having time to myself, but at the same time I like being social, if that makes any sense..But my mom is currently pregnant again, so I have been busy taking care of her for right now! Its very exciting, my mother is amazing so I love being their for her. And to be able to have more siblings.. I can't wait!" Her smile was radiating in length, and Porsche was truly honored to be helping her mother.

"That's great! Congratulations to your mom! It's really nice of you to help take care of her, I bet she really appreciates it. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun playing with your new little siblings. I wonder if any will look somewhat like you! Like a little mini me," he laughed. "I don't mind if you space out, I do it too. Just when I'm by myself though, I wouldn't want to be rude and space out when somebody's talking."
Mel couldn't help but grin at Porsche as she talked, she was so excited about everything that came out of her mouth. "It makes perfect sense, I'm sort of the same way, just lean more towards social than being a loner most of the time." He thought for a second as the continued walking along and laughed a little when he realized something. "You kind of got off track there and didn't answer my question fully. You did tell me about your mother and some about your brother, but what about the rest of your family and friends?"

"Thanks for your kind wishes, I will give my mother your regards!" Porsche was beaming at this point, since her mother meant everything to her. "I honestly cannot wait, I plan on being the babysitter as much as I can. I want to help my mom raise them, and be the best big sister that I can be." It would keep her plenty busy, too! And she wanted them to have as much fun as she did as a child.
"Ah.. your other questions.. you really are right, aren't you?" she then said, with a short laugh. "Well my dad is really cool too, and my brothers are my brothers. But friends? I met someone when I was a child, they were bright and orange. We played in the snow until it became really dangerous.." she tried hard to remember, and she suddenly realized this friend of hers was actually a wonderful memory! "I hope to find him again, I used to be sort of careful of snow but when we played in it I went all out! Did you ever just go crazy in the snow? I really enjoyed myself!"

"I know she'll really appreciate the help. I'm pretty sure my parents would have liked my half brother around to help watch over but he's actually expecting kids of his own soon so he wasn't there. Anywho, we were always getting into mischief and wandering off so I hope you're prepared!"
Mel could be a good listener too if he needed to be so he let her speak about her adventures just as he had. Though he couldn't really relate to this story very well. "..Well...no. I've never even seen snow before. I just missed the snowy season but I'll catch next year for sure! I prefer the warm sun anyway, plus with the sunshine that brings tasty tasty flowers," he winked at her and had to resist grabbing another flower to munch on. "I'm sure you'll see your friend again sometime, good friends usually find each other again someday."

"Oh wow.. your half brother is just as busy too! Will you be able to see his kids? That would be fun, you could show them the ropes of life and everything." That was what Porsche wanted to do, even if she wasn't the smartest out there! She liked to think that she was fun and spunky, and that was all that mattered.
"I really hope so." she then said, while dropping the subject of snow with a nod. "I can't wait for the summer nights in particular, I want to see fireflies! My father has told me all about them, I think they sound like the coolest bugs ever! Do you know what I am talking about?" she tilted her head with a grin and wondered if she sounded crazy or anything. "Apparently all sorts of bugs appear.. I think its gonna be great!" She would have to explore to see them all, but at least it was something to keep her busy.

Mel shrugged and thought about what it would be like to meet his new nieces and nephews...Wow he was already going to be an uncle?? The thought had never crossed his mind until now.. "I don't know. I've never really even met him yet. Someday though, I'll find him and maybe he'll have his kids by then. I think he'll want to teach his kids the ropes though, being the father and all," he chuckled. Porsche seemed so excited to be helping with her new little siblings, almost as if they were going to be her own. He guessed he really didn't know what that felt like since he was still partly a kid himself but also wondered if it really was as great as she made it sound...
"I'm really familiar with bugs but I don't think I've seen fireflies before. You'll have to let me know when you find some and I'll keep my eye out for some too...Though I don't know what they look like so one might cross in front of my face and I probably wouldn't know it. I'm looking forward to the butterflies. I've only seen one since it's so early in the warm season but they're so colorful! I want to see what other kinds there are," he smiled wide, getting excited just as he spoke about it.

Porsche knew she was a bit strange for loving her mother and the concept of motherhood so much, but it was something that kept her happy and comfortable, and it wasn't surprising for a stallion to find other interests as more important! Even so, it was cool to listen to Mel talk about his own family relationships, and she was only nodding as he described what was going on with his other family member. "Either way, it sounds very exciting! Being an uncle would be great."
She then paused after his next set of words, since she had no idea what they looked like either! "Well, my father said that they glow, and I think that is awesome! He said they help light the darkest of summer nights, and that they glow every few seconds. To me, they sound amazing! I can't wait to find some." She would definitely chase them around all night, and that made her smile.

Mel smiled and thought about it a little more. "Yeah I guess it would be pretty cool. Maybe if I meet him when his kids are young I can see why you get so excited about taking care of little ones."
He listened to her talk about these new bugs and just looked at her with large curious blue eyes. Bugs that glowed?? That had to be the coolest thing he had ever heard of! "Are they only out in the summer time? Cause y'know I always sleep at night so I wouldn't have seen them if they were out anyway. I'd love to help you find some! Though what're the chances that we both won't find one before we meet again. You'll probably be busy with your new siblings and I..Well I tend to wander from place to place. Anywho, I'm not keeping you am I? I'd hate to be boring you and keeping you from other things that you need to do."

Porsche only giggled at the stallion's frantic words, and she calmed him down as best as she could with a smile and a nod. "Well let's see.. if these bugs come out at night time, I don't think that only means that they come out late! Since summer nights are so long, maybe you will be able to catch them pretty early?" she at least hoped so.. so Mel could find some to see!
"And even though we will both be busy, I don't foresee that as a problem. I like to wander as well, and our wandering today brought us here! So what's to say that won't happen again?" she gave a reassuring smile, before shaking her head quickly at his last bit. "I am on break you know! I don't mind chatting for awhile, especially since we are having fun."

"That's a relief! Summer seems so far away though, I mean spring is only JUST arriving and I don't think I have the patience to wait that long." He let out a long sigh mixed with a sound that sounded more like a 'huff'. Of course all the good and cool things you actually had to wait for them but he knew, now that he knew about these cool bugs, it was going to drive him mad!
"That's good to hear. I'd hate to make a good friend and then never see them again, or even for a long period of time. I'll just have to hunt you down if it seems like it's been too long...Or if I get bored." He laughed and knew it most likely wouldn't take him long to get bored, since it happened almost everyday. "Break huh? Well then since I'm not taking any precious time away from you.." He turned his head and gave her long mane a swift tug before sprinting off in the opposite direction. "Catch me if you can!" Still a stallion with the heart of a foal.

Porsche was going to respond to the stallion's words, but before she knew it, he had run off! A surprised expression soon molded back into a smile, and although she was a slow runner herself, she still chased after the stallion, feeling the rush of fun in her body. She didn't really have the intent of ever catching him, but she would sure try!
"Goodness Mel, you are fast!" she then said, with a light pant in her breath. He must of practiced running a lot, and Porsche knew her father was the same way with speed. The mare still hid her frustration, and she tried to gallop with as much speed as she could muster while zig zagging her steps to whatever Mel was doing. She just wasn't getting close enough, and she could only stop and laugh in a delightful way. "Jeez, I didn't realize you were like a bullet Mel. How the heck do you move around so quickly! I am amazed and impressed." She wisped some hair out of her eyes while catching her breath for the second.

Mel skidded to a stop and turned, bounding back to where Porsche had stopped. "I didn't know I moved like a bullet, I didn't even know I was fast. Don't feel too bad though, I bet your wings are slowing you down since the don't look very aerodynamic or your hair cause it's so long...Or maybe I'm just faster cause I'm spunky," he laughed and shook out his braided mane. "That was fun though! Running always makes me feel free and and..I don't know what else but it feels good! We can go again if you want, I won't make you try and keep up with me, I'll fun beside you," He smiled and danced on his hooves a bit, not even the least bit out of breath yet.

Wow, Mel was really in shape! Porsche was stunned as she watched his limber figure bounce around, and she could only smile with a sense of pride from his accomplishments. "That is amazing, Mel! You should try and compete and race people, and then proclaim yourself as the fastest in the land! It is funny you mention my wings, my mother once said there was a certain way to use them for an advantage, but I haven't figured that out yet." Plus, it was not like it was that important anyway. "Sure, I'd love to run besides you! I will try and watch and learn what it is that makes you so fast." Everybody was good at something, and Mel was most definitely good at running.

Mel laughed as they started off at a jog together and shook his head. "I really wouldn't care about winning races or being named the fastest in the land, which I'm sure isn't true. There's got to be a lot of others much faster than me that we haven't met yet. But I just run for fun. I have to be semi fast to be able to keep up with the bees that are flying around," he said with a wink. "And don't worry about trying to learn to run fast, I don't mind going slower for friends." He smiled as he kept his pace even with hers and tossed his mane out of his face, letting the wind capture it for a moment before it died down. These were the simple things in life, just have a good outing with good weather and a good friend to enjoy it with.

She clearly hadn't put two and two together, forgetting that Mel was especially good at chasing bees around. "Chasing bugs would mean good practice.. I think you have taught me something great Mel." she giggled lightly after her response while watching to sky change from its bright blue to a more orangeish array of colors. "Don't you just love when the sky becomes like that? This is my favorite time of the day!' she then exclaimed, while moving her eyes towards the sky again. "Sometimes I wish it could stay in those colors." Though Porsche did enjoy the blue, she definitely had a preference over the pretty shades of pink and yellow! "See, now it is better that we are going slower, that way we can enjoy the sky too!"
