The topic of the full moon was something that hadn't even crossed the blonde male's mind. He didn't know too much about it, other then the strange responses one got when asking a family member about it. He didn't tend to ask about it much, the moon's glow was pretty and bright, but it was only during night and night was far too dark for him to even go outside.
He nodded swiftly. "Yeah, it's a rumor." Axis was so smart. He would have never thought of calling it such a thing, but she had to be right about it. It had to very well be a rumor. It couldn't be true, so a rumor it was.
His expression dropped yet again as the pink kit stated that the rumor was real. Rumors weren't real, they couldn't be. And not this one. "Daddy's powbers?" he sqeaked, taking a few steps back. "Those have nothing to do with it. Even if he had Daddy's powbers he wouldn't do something like that to Mommy."

"Do you even know what your father's powers are?" The kit scoffed slightly, an eyebrow raised, looking slightly confused. Now, why wouldn't the evil king tell his children about his evil powers? Hmmm...this was weird.
Axis's golden eyes turned to her brother's, looking confused as well. Saix had never said what his powers were, unless they counted the portal ones. "How could he hurt momma with a portal?"

No. The blonde male wasn't sure as to what his father's powers were. Other then the portal he could create he knew of nothing. And as Axis had promptly said, how could anyone hurt someone with a portal. It wasn't really possible from what he could tell. All portals did were get a person from one place to another. Somewhat like that apparating thing. Though he'd never tried that spell before.
He nodded in agreement with his sister. "He coulbdn't have hurt mommy with a portal. It's not pobsible." His gloved paws fiddled with his flashlight, as he swallowed hard. Where had this kit heard these things? He nor his sister had ever heard of such a thing as their older brother hurting their mother.
If such a thing was going around, why hadn't they heard about it? Why was it just now that such a lie was being brought up? He knew that there was no way it was true, but weren't rumors things that floated about a lot? That many or at least a decent amount of people knew about? If this had something to do with his family then why hadn't he known?

"I never said it was a portal." Lace shot back. Really, a portal couldn't hurt anyone, unless if someone poked their head out of it and whacked another before disappearing. "It was something to do with being the Luna Diviner...That's what the witch said." By witch, she meant Xianthe, also the Nobody who had fed Xanul with lies about the Organization when he was young and innocent.
The kit frowned. Luna Diviner? "The...moon?" She squeaked, looking rather shocked, turning to look at Xerviree. She had sensed everyone's reluctance and unhappiness to talk about the full moon. That, and Xanul wasn't good at lying.

Xerviree blinked....it wasn't a portal? What else could it have been? If a portal was the only thing he even knew his father was capable of power-wise then it couldn't really have been anything else. Could it?
He canted his head to the side. Luna Diviner. Witch. What was she going on about now? His attention turned to his red-haired sister. "The moob?" he repeated, powers that involved the moon. Well what were they? There was something about the full moon, but there wasn't any real knowledge about what powers if any surfaced during that time. "That can't be...." he frowned.

The redhead frowned as well, mirroring her brother's actions. The moon was a big source of worry for her family, she could sense. The way Xanul spluttered whenever the kits tried to prod him for information...well, it proved that something was up.
"Well." The kit began. "I'm not exactly sure what the powers are, but you said it. It's something to do with the..."
"Petrifius Totalus!" A horrified voice cut in, and the kit's limbs snapped to her side and she fell to the ground, grey eyes glaring angrily at the half-Nobody that had just emerged from a portal. If she could talk now, she would most definetely have screamed at Xanul.
"Xanul?" Axis squeaked. "What's...going on?"

Pale ears fliped forwards, as chocolate eyes stared intently at the kit. If she was going to explain the lie then he might as well listen, maybe she'd be right about the other powers thing, but she was just wrong about everything else. It was a possibility.
The kit began to speak, but was soon cut short as a voice came shouting out a spell. Xerviree toppled over with a yelp, startling was really not the word. The voice had just come out of nowhere, and the spell as well. A spell that had certainly clamped up the little pink kit and quick!
He breathed heavily, slowly calming as he realized that it was his brother that had just poped in from a portal. He pushed his blonde hair from his face, remaining upon his back on the ground. "........What happened?" he blinked, his breathing still a bit from its norm.

Axis had recognized the spell from the moment she heard it. the Full-Body Bind Curse. She had definetely studied a lot, even though she wasn't a witch. It was because of the hard work she had put in as a kit, and helping out Xerviree with his studies. The question was, who had done it?
"Xanul?" She questioned softly, nosing worriedly at Xerviree. "Why...what?"
"Um. um..." It was known that Xanul was a horrible liar, and he was currently racking his brain for an excuse. "She was spouting nonsense about me! She always does. She's always been calling me an evil prince." Damn that Princess Tuuli and her followers.

The blonde kit wiggled as Axis nudged him, he gave her a small smile, the best he could manage to let her know he was fine. He just hadn't expected for their brother to pop out of nowhere and shout out a spell to cause the lying kit to topple over in a bind.
He gave a nod as his sister questioned their older brother, who seemed to be stammering for an answer. His breathing slowed getting closer to its normal rate, as he rolled over onto his stomach. It would take a little while longer for him to calm down fully, being so naturally afraid of things came with being incredibly easy to startle.
He got to his feet, rubbing a gloved paw against his leg as he listened to why Xanul had done what he did. "So it really is a lie!" he smiled, glad to hear it was. Xanul may have been a horrible liar, but the young male had never really noticed. His tails waged gently, "But what about the moob Xanul?" he may have been slightly curious now, there was at least something there in that part of the female's lie.

Axis could easily sense the reluctance and fear of their brother, thanks to her empath powers. It only made him seem all the more suspicious to her, and she stared at him in question, her golden eyes flicking down to her brother to make sure he was alright.
"She's been saying Dad's an evil king even before I was born." The older kitsusagi muttered, using a paw to scuffle around awkwardly in the dirt. His head shot up. Oh s**t. The topic about the moon AGAIN?
"I...I can't say! Really! I mean...I...I..." He swallowed, tails flicking awkwardly. "You'll...know when the time comes, okay?"

The rumor about their father being an evil king had been going around since before even Xanul had been born? Wow, then it certainly was a very very old rumor. Not that he thought his brother was old, but he was older. Even still, should that not have ment that he and his sister should have heard that rumor before? If it had been around so long.
Of course Xerviree really didn't like leaving the house for the most part.
Then their brother stammered again. This time because of his question about the moon. Xanul seemed rather nervous about the topic. He frowned, tails coiling around his hind legs. "When will that be?" he blinked his chocolate eyes, wondering how much longer they would have to wait to find out.

"Why won't you tell us?" Axis asked softly. She knew of the discomfort her family members were going through, but all five of them were dying to know why. It seemed to be a bad thing...and she didn't even know if she should prod further into this issue.
"About...next week maybe." Xanul muttered. He was starting to get nervous at his little sister's question and summoned up a portal. "C'mon, you should go back now. Mom will be worried."
