Krad was just full of surprises. Dark really had no idea. "I don't think I'd want to be apart of your dreams Mousey." He teased back with a shake of his head and a soft snort. The thief's dreams were no doubt full of treasure and women, and Krad would have no place there. But he recognized the thin attempt at humor, and its weakness reminded the blond just how tired his counterpart must be. "You should rest. You problems won't fade away in the night, as much as you may desire them to." Krad chuckled again, tilting an ear back. If Dark didn't lay down, he'd fall down.

"I highly doubt that Lunathiel will want to kill you. It is more likely that she will go easy on you with only a few bruises in light of the fact that you returned. And entirely by your own choice." 'As opposed to being dragged back' was the unspoken finish to that statement. There was a long pause as Krad considered something, continuing softly after a few longer moments. "Would you like me to accompany you back? To speak with Lunathiel first and blunt her anger for you before she sees you?" He offered this aid in a soft voice, not certain of its reception. They were, after all, enemies of one another. Even if the line had become somewhat blurred since Krad had first arrived in this strange land.

Dark couldn't help but laugh at this. The laughter was short lived, though, as he was reminded once again of the situation at hand. It didn't seem like he was going to be able to escape it for more then a few seconds. "Trust me, if I could sleep, I would have been out cold by the time you showed up." It was true. If he could have calmed his mind enough to let his body rest then Krad would have had no problems marching over to crush Dark's face in. The thought made him shiver and he made a mental note not to piss Krad off any time between now and whenever he should happen to fall into the land of dreams.

At first Dark listened quietly, or at least he half-listened. His mind had decided that stars that looked like gems were slightly more interesting then focusing on what the other was saying. His mind snapped back fast enough to make the thief slightly dizzy at Krad's suggestion. "What?" His eyes blinked a few times in rapid succession as he tried to piece together exactly what would make the white winged horse want to calm Luna down. He couldn't really think of anything.

He came to the conclusion that his mind was just torturing him right now. "Look she may not kill me...or you...but do you really think she'll listen to you? Luna can be kinda..." He wanted to add nuts to the end of that but somehow he got the feeling that the two would just get along. He was nuts, she was nuts, he may as well just toss Thorn in there and they could be one big nutty family. "You sure you wanna talk to her? Cause you do know that would be doing me a pretty big favor..."

One way or another, Dark would have to fall asleep, restless troubled mind or no. Killing Dark while he slept hadn't even crossed the blond's mind. Strangely enough, he was only concerned for the other's well-being...at the moment. Besides, if Krad decided to kill Dark, he wanted Dark to be able to see it comming. After all, what was the fun in helpless prey?

He almost laughed at the wide-eyed, shocked look on the thief's face as what Krad had suggested finally sunk in, but he kept silent. Only the quirk of his lips and the amused glint in his eyes showed his mirth. "Why wouldn't she listen to me? She has no reason to ignore me or turn her anger to me. After all, I wasn't the one got a mare pregnant then ran away from the responsibility." He pointed out, flicking his tail and shifting on his feet. He couldn't stifle the wide smirk that pulled at his lips at Dark's last statement. "So you'll just owe me." He purred, head tilting as he eyed the other male, one ear tilting back. "Unless that makes you...uneasy?" It went unsaid that, without Krad's help, Dark would have to face Lunathiel by himself. Something the blond was quite sure Dark didn't want.

"Yeah..." he said, crimson eyes lowering looking very intently at the ground. He didn't know if the other was trying to make him feel bad but it what working. Running away had always been Dark's favorite course of action as it was the easiest and fastest and for once it was the wrong choice and it seemed he wasn't going to get to forget that anytime soon.

Something about the way Krad said that Dark would owe him sent chills down the thief's spine and made him look up. "Somehow...just hearing you say that makes me want to go let Luna beat me bloody." He said a familiar smirk finally showing on his face. "But...it doesn't look like I have many options here. So, I guess I'll owe you one." He coughed slightly not really believing that those words had just come out of his mouth.

With a flick of the tail and a small sigh Dark spread his wings and looked in the direction of the village. It was a long walk but a short flight, hopefully short enough for him to be able to make it there before falling out of the sky. "I'm hoping you don't know where my home is so...just follow me."

He wasn't trying to make Dark feel bad. Guilty, but not bad. Not this time anyway. The thief had to learn that sometimes, running away just wasn't an option. And if getting that through Dark's head meant constantly reminding him of what he'd done and what his responsibilities were, to keep him from running the next time - 'let's hope there won't be a next time' - then Krad would keep bringing it up.

Krad chuckled, his smirk widening at Dark's words. "Oh don't worry too much about it. Owing me a favor won't be too bad." He said this with the smirk still on his face, mimicing the one that now curved Dark's lips. Sidestepping when Dark spread his wings, Krad ruffled his own, eyeing the thief critically. "Are you sure you can fly? You look ready to drop." He pointed out rather bluntly, stretching his wings anyway. "But if you wish to go now, lead the way." He didn't tell his counterpart that he didn't need to be led. That he knew where Dark resided. The blond figured that Dark had enough problems to worry about right now without knowing that Krad had lurked about Dark's home, watching their commings and goings.

To this, Dark shrugged. He honestly didn't know if he would be alright to fly but he was going to give it a shot anyway. "Well, we're about to find out." He said before giving his wings a few powerful flaps to get airborne. He wobbled a little more then usual from the lack of ground but managed to stay in the air. He nodded to the blond to signal him to follow before taking off towards the village.

Even though he was moving much slower then he normally would flying he was still going twice the speed that he would be able to manage walking or even running. He smiled to know that at this speed they would reach his home soon and then frowned for the same reason. How exactly was Krad planning on calming Lunathiel down. He got that the blond was going to but how? Lunathiel wasn't always the easiest person to reason with...especially not at night. For a moment he consider letting himself fall from the sky to avoid this whole ordeal but decided that would be a bit of a step backwards and pressed on.

Not long after taking off Dark landed again on the outskirts of the Kawani village. He had been tempted to simply land in front of the teepee but somehow the thought of being greeted by a very angry Luna was not pleasant.

"Hmmm." Krad only hummed a short response, watching with a close eye as Dark flapped his wings and took off. He wobbled, but he was airborn, so the difficult part was over. From there on, it would be mostly riding the currents. Krad took off into a run, gaining a bit of momentum before spreading his own wings and taking off. Gaining height, he took off after the thief, curving in the air beside and slightly above Dark, keeping an eye on him. Incase he really did fall. After all, it wouldn't do for Dark to fall and break something when he had agreed to face his...problem.

It was a much shorter flight then he had thought, but then again, he shouldn't be surprised. Folding his wings slightly, he arced towards the ground, taking a few steps to compensate his landing as his hooves met the ground. He glanced to Dark, one ear canted back, waiting for the thief to continue on. "When we arrive, let me approach first. If Lunathiel sees you first, I might not be able to do much good." He chuckled, keeping the smile off his face. After all, Dark getting beaten up by a female was an infrequent sight for the blond, and Krad likely wouldn't rush to his aid in favor of watching the show.

"Well...she'll be right down there..." He said with a nod towards the teepee straight ahead.

"Or right next you..." A calm but dangerous voice came from the side as the ocean blue mare trotted up to the pair of winds. She didn't look particuarly angry but she did seem like something was bothering her. The truth to be told was she had been out looking for Scarlet. The mother-to-be had wandered off earlier that day and she had been out looking for her when she saw the two wind's landing.

"So...you decided to come back then? After...I dunno...running off?!" She glared at the black winged stallion looking more or less like she was about to kill him.

Dark flinched as he heard Luna's voice. He turned to look from Krad to Luna his pulse quickening. "Or...she could be right there..." He said shakily taking a few steps back.

Well, that was unexpected. Krad managed to keep from startling, only sidestepping slightly as Luna went right up to Dark. He stayed silent as the female glared and almost nearly yelled, amused at the situation. But it wasn't very helpful and Krad did say he would try to keep the older mare from doing anything rash.

"But he did return. Of his own choice." Krad said softly, watching as Dark backed away, looking shaky. He shifted and stepped up in front of the thief, standing between him and the irate female. He shot Dark an amused look, hoping the thief would keep his mouth shut. Likely if Dark continued to speak, Lunathiel might not calm down.

Lunathiel eyed Krad a bit curiously. She'd seen a few soquili wearing clothes before but never so much. Her first thought was that he would be trouble but when he started talking she decided that perhaps he was not so bad. She had been expecting friends of Dark's to start yelling at her like she was at fault. That didn't seem to be the case here.

"That is true...he shouldn't have run off in the first place though." She said shooting the thief a look as best as she could with the blond stallion in the way. Seeing the look on the black winged males face made her feel a bit bad. It looked like Dark was ill. She coughed a little then lowered her voice so that she could only be heard by Dark's friend. "He's not well is he?" She asked sounding a bit worried, which she was. She was upset with him for running off but she hadn't expected to see him show up again in such a poor state. Honestly she was having a hard time staying mad at him because she had let Scarlet run off. She couldn't be mad at the thief when she couldn't even accomplish what she wanted him to do.

Dark felt pathetic. he was okay with running most times but hiding like this just felt completely wrong. He was grateful for what Krad was doing for him but he just couldn't help feeling, rather useless.

He smirked and flicked an ear. "Yes. He's well aware of that fact now." Krad agreed, nodding his head and looking over his shoulder to eye the other male at the mare's softly voiced concern. Studying his counterpart for a long moment before turning back to Luna, he gave a soft sigh. "He really needs to sleep. He's run himself ragged over this. And likely would have kept running if I had not met him and talked him into returning." He replied just as softly, a frown on his face.

Lunathiel smiled softly the way only a mother could. "Then I have you to thank then. So, thank you, for knocking some sense into that boy." She looked over at the shaggy purple maned stallion and shook her head. She couldn't understand Dark sometimes. He would rather run himself to the brink of death then deal with Scarlet and her.

A rather wicked idea flicked through her mind and she smiled mischiviously before marching past Krad to get at the thief. "Dark Mousey!" She shouted doing her best to sound pissed even though she was laughing inside. She softened her expression big time shortly after and started laughing. "Go to bed!" She gave him a gentle nudge before walking back to her previous spot giving the blond a look to say she still wanted to talk.

"Oh! And don't bother looking for Scarlet!" She added quickly trying to pull a reason together for the young mare to be missing currently. She didn't want to say that she'd just lost little Scarlet. "She's with the...two-legger shamans. Probably until the foals are born. They want to be sure that she's alright." She coughed slightly but said nothing else.

Dark went rigid when he saw Luna making her way over. Until she started laughing he had been certain that he was about to get his a** handed to him. He smiled nervously before making his way toward the teepee really not wanting to question the mare. Besides he really was too tired to argue at the moment. He wasn't bruised, he hadn't really gotten yelled at, and his once-upon-a-time worst enemy was helping him. He was still questioning whether he was dreaming or not. Screw how tired he was, it could be an illusion from a fantasy world.

"What?!" He stared back at Luna wide eyed when she first announced that Scarlet wasn't there. Hearing where she was made him breath easy again. Shamans. He could trust them. After all they had even looked after kalona babies with loving care that he wouldn't have expected anyone to give. With a sigh he closed his eyes and shook his head before heading into the teepee for some well needed rest.

"I didn't touch him. Much as he would have deserved being knocked around a little." Krad muttered, lip curling briefly before he turned to watch for Dark's reaction as the blue mare suddenly rounded on the thief with an angry yell. He had to duck his head into one wing to muffle his chuckles as Dark looked ready to bolt from the seemingly angry mare. Shaking his head, he watched Dark start towards the teepee. Flicking an ear, he resisted the urge to say something more to the black-winged male, but stayed silent. There would be ample time to speak and Dark really did need to rest.

Once the thief had disappeared into the teepee, he turned and eyed the blue mare beside him. "There was something you wanted to speak with me about?" He questioned, ruffling his wings and resettling them. The blond wasn't quite sure what Lunathiel had wanted him to stay for, but he had nowhere better to be at the moment, so he was willing to stay. At least for the moment.

"Hmmm..."Luna closed her eyes, thinking. She knew what she wanted to say but she didn't know exactly how to say it. "Well...first off I lied. Scarlet's missing and I don't know where she is." She shrugged slightly like it was no big deal but the smile missing on her face suggested otherwise. "Dark and Scarlet...aren't exactly the most suitable parents as you can probably tell." She sighed looking over at the teepee that she was sure was currently being slept in.

"They run off when things don't go quite right. With a kid to watch...well..." She sighed again and laughed slightly more from nerves then anything. "I fear for their kids. And yes, I'm certain there will be more then one. I guess what I'm trying to say...is that I don't think they can look after more then one. So...would you be willing to look after one of them? You seem responsible enough, I mean you did bring Dark back, and I don't want to have to search the entire village the day the children are born like we've had to do in the past."

Her mouth opened again like she was going to speak again but with a sigh she closed it again. She needed to give the other a chance to respond after all.

Krad chuckled and glanced to the teepee, shrugging. "I don't think a little lie is going to hurt him. Having told him it will allow him to sleep, for the moment at least." He told her, rolling his eyes a moment later. "I can never see Dark as being a parent. The thought makes me cringe slightly. And this...Scarlet, I can't judge having never met her."

Snorting, Krad nodded in agreement to her words before freezing, not quite sure he'd heard the mare correctly. His ears tilted back and he narrowed his eyes at her, trying to see if maybe she had been joking. What could he say to that? ...Not much, since he was currently speechless. The blond found his voice after a moment or two of silent gaping. "You want me to...raise a child? One of Dark's children no less?" He said, voice colored with disbelief. Then again, the mare likely thought it a very good idea. After all, she didn't know that Krad, at one point in the not so distant past, had wanted to kill the thief. And sometimes still did. But he wasn't about to tell her that. The mare looked like she had enough to worry about at the moment.
