Lanying nodded. It was probably a good idea to get them used to the area that was to be there home. Also doing so before there vision was fully developed would prepare them some what incase some day there vision failed them for one or another reason. Looking up at Bakari, she male eyed the small dragon like creature a moment before looking to his mate and nodding once more. He wasn’t sure how much he trusted the familiar, it was hard for him to trust someone that he could not communicate with but he was trying.

Looking down at the children he finally spoke on this option. “ It’s a good idea. Teaching them the terrain with there sense of hearing and small are all they have, teaches them a great deal I think. "

Feeling something sniffing around her tail and brushing against it as it rested on the ground Li-Hua quickly turned her head to look at what was behind her though all she could see was a strange fuzzy blob about her size. She flicked her tail back and forth, batting her brother in the face, once then twice before she stood and pressed up against her mother a moment. Watching the blob she tilted her head as it still came closer before she half wobbled and half walked around him, tripping over a rock she had failed to see but getting back up again quickly and scurrying further away from the small male as well as her parents.

Solstice continued to silently observe Lanying glancing occasionally at Bakari. With the help of her pandryl she had been able to find this place and deliver her children in safety. In her heart she knew that Lanying felt threatened by the presence of her companion. There was just nothing she could do. Bonded as she was it would hurt too much to just give in. Her attention returned to observe Mizuiro and Li-Hua before her daughter scampered away from her side and past Lanying. Her mouth opened slightly to call back her daughter but Bakari, sensing her unease, lit from his perch and flew overhead ... keeping a steady gaze locked on her daughter's form.

(( Is not sure on how far Li-Hua was planning to run ))

Mizuiro had scrunched up his nose at the object that passed by him before flopping down onto the ground. His stomach rumbled and a tiny, hungry mew rose into the air like a plaintive cry. The shapes between him looked alike but only one carried what he craved.

( I wasn’t sure either but I think I might have her run a little ways. That why both Lanying and Bakari can both follow. On and Bakari doesn’t threaten Lanying per say, he just don’t trust Pandryl’s… yet. I’m sure that will change having one around. )

Lanying chuckled at the little male before him, the new father smiled to his mate. “ Looks like our little boy needs his mother. ” Glancing in the direction that Li-Hua had gone in he could still see her. However she was fast for her age. Standing he stretched slightly before nudging Mizuiro closer to his mother so he could have his meal. “ I’ll follow her as well, she’ll be fine. Maybe once this little one is done you can follow with him. ” Turning the headed towards Li-Hua, his normal strides being enjoy for him to catch up with her rather quickly and coming up along side of her he found that she had slowed to a walk, sniffing at the ground a little too.

Solstice watched as Lanying took off after Li-Hua before she felt Mizuiro nudge at her side. Chuckling softly to herself she allowed her child access to the nourishment that he sought. She would follow after Lanying in due time. Purring softly the blue telpareon gently nuzzled her son as he fed.

Bakari had landed a distance away from Lanying as he caught up with his errant daughter and the small dragon-like creature chirped in relief. Slowly Bakari ambled closer to the young rina in a non-threatening manner. He merely wanted to gain the young one's scent in case he'd have to play tracker later. His gaze though never left that of the white Telpareon.

The little female wobbled lightly, stepping on the sleeves she wore on her front lefts about every third or fourth step so took but she managed. Ths is until she walked right into a thick bush. She mewed as she tried to free herself. Her ears twitching as she head her father new her and caught his scent. " Mew!! " She struggled to get free, hearing Bakari's chirp near by. She knew not his scent or the noises the little dragon like creature made yet. Her fear grew and she panished a little mewing for her father again as her sleeves became more tangled.

Lanying however had stopped near her Rina but not with in reach. He loved his daughter dearly and that was why he didn't move to help her yet. His eyes shifted to watch Bakari a second before looking back again. He wasn't sure what the Pandryl was doing, but he wouldn't act just yet. He smiled lightly as Li-Hua managed to free herself and scurry over to him, away from the familiar. " Shh little one. He wont harm you. " Looking to Bakari he motioned with his head for the other to near. He wanted his child to know the creatures scent if he was to be around. The children could not fear him.

Bakari edged nearer to Lanying and his daughter keeping his movements slow and deliberate. There was no need to rush this process and possibly frighten his companion's daughter even further. Already the panicked reaction he'd received while the rina was trapped by the bush dimmed his hope that he would be accepted by the children. Another few steps were taken as he hobbled nearer to the light blue blob that hid among the legs of her father.

Crouching lower to the ground Bakari let out another little chirp that almost sounded inquisitive in nature. He was just as intrigued by Li-Hua's presence as he hoped she would be intrigued by him. Another chirp and he rose slowly to his normal position. His eyes locked with those of Lanying as he waited.

Solstice had allowed Mizuiro the benefit of the doubt of being hungry but when she felt that her son was now burrowing into her side for warmth and not food she gently flicked her tail over her son's head before rising to her feet. She had promised that she would follow Lanying after and now she was keeping her word. Her head came down to nuzzle her son before she grasped the base of her son's neck with her mouth. It would be easier and faster to reach the rest of her family this way then constantly worrying that her son might dart off.

As she neared the area where she registered Bakari's presence she felt the conflicted feelings the pandryl was giving off. She moved into a location that allowed her to see what was going on and gently lowered her son to the ground. Solstice kept an eye on her son but her gaze was drawn to the spectacle being played out before her. Would her children accept the familiar? Would Lanying for that matter?

Li-Hua's ears perked a little at the noises Bakari made and she turned to face the creature. She blinked up at him but still her vision was new and she couldn't tell what he looked like. He was no more then another blue blob to her. She mewed lightly in responce to his second chirp and with a light nudge from her father, that might go un-noticed by those watching, she stepped forwards. Sniffing at the little dragon she caught his scent. It was much like her mothers and wouldn't be hard to remember. Moving ever closer she bumped her head into his leg and released another small mew.

He smiled at him young one. Not moving to take her back away from Bakari. He wanted him daughter to like this familier, for it would greatly please her mother. The breeze shifted a little and Lanyings nose twitched as caught his mates scent. But he remained as he was as if he hadn't noticed her. He knew she was probably watching there little one interact with Bakari.

Bakari held still as Li-Hua approached him and chirped lightly in response to the young one's mew. He felt the impact in his leg from the rina's nudge and gently he lowered so that he was looking into Li-Hua's eyes. He drew back quickly knowing that her sight was not the greatest. He remained still as he registered that Solstice was near - possibly even watching the scene by now. Squeaking softly Bakari watched the bushes before allowing his wings to spread outwards. The move was done slowly.

Solstice watched with pride as Li-Hua took the courage to approach Bakari and make contact with the familiar. Now if only Mizuiro could do the same as his sister had done. It wouldn't be long wait though. The timing just had to be right though. She picked her son back up and moved to Lanying's side. From there she continued to watch Li-Hua interact with Bakari. "I am glad to see that our daughter has taken the initiative," Solstice chuckled softly before continuing, "Now our son needs to do the same soon."

Looking up at the Pandryl's face as he straightened again the Rina mewed once more. She watched as he extended his wings outwares and unable to see what they where or that they where attached to him Li-Hua reached a paw up. Batting at his wings, her claws extended. It was hard to control the little daggers that each toe held hidden. And so any time she reached out for anything they did as well.

Without looking over to Solstice the male nodded, glacing to his son. "Yes, he does and I'm sure with time he will. Hopefully he'll do so just because his sister already has." Turning his head now he looked to his mate with a gently smile, leaning over and nuzzling her before licking her cheek. "All in due time my love, all in due time."

Bakari watched as the young rina batted at his wings with her paws. He saw the tiny claws extend but remained still. He'd gone through this motion before when his companion was younger. Her claws had been larger when she prodded at him when he was newly hatched. He bore the scars that remained with pride and to be marked by his companion's daughter would be just as meaningful.

The moment the claws made contact though Bakari made a series of high squeaks of alarm and pain. Li-Hua's claws sank into the vulnerable section of membrane that separated the bones in his wings. Without the possibility of harming Li-Hua Bakari could only try to endure the pain.

Solstice leaned into the nuzzle that Lanying offered her and looked down at Mizuiro. Somehow she had been blessed with a loving mate and two adorable, yet inquisitive children. She returned the lick before her expression changed into one of agony. It was at that time that her gaze switched over to the display before them and she understood what had happened. The pain that Bakari was feeling was being transmitted to her and she bounded out into the clearing where she observed Li-Hua's accidental entanglement with her familiar. Gritting her teeth against the feeling of razors on flesh Solstice nuzzled first her daughter and then Bakari in an attempt to sooth both of them. Her gaze took in the torn section of wing before she maneuvered her paw to lift Li-Hua's smaller paw to disentangle her claws from the damaged wing. Gently she led her daughter back to Lanying's side before turning back to watch Bakari. His right wing was folded tightly against his body while the left one, the injured one, was open and drooping on the ground.

A look of worry passed over Lanying's face as he watched his mates happy expression turn to on of pain. Hers ears then caught Bakari's scretchs, his deep lavender eyes to look. He was sure that his daughter had become to curious, and had in turn harmed the familiar, but watching as Bakari remained still and did not move to harm Li-Hua please him.

Li-Hua had paniced a little as she head the nose the familiar had made. It frightened her and though she had no clue why he was making it she wanted away from that nose. Which in turn had only caused the entanglment to become worse. However the moment she felt her mothers pressents she calmed and nuzzled her back. She felt her mother free her claws before leding her back to her father. She mewed up at Lanying and cuddled with him.

Lanying nuzzled his daughter and sighed a little. " My dear girl, we'll have to teach you how to use those correctly. " Gently he moved her so she was cuddling her brother and them moved off towards his mate and her familiar. " ... Is he ok? " Taking a seat beside Solstice he watched her care from the dragon, while keeping an eye on the Rina's.

Solstice felt Lanying come up beside her and she leaned against him for strength. It wasn't often that she needed someone beside her but seeing Bakari like this and feeling the residual pain from his wound made her seek comfort from her mate. She nuzzled his cheek before examining the wing that Bakari refused to fold against his back. She didn't blame her familiar in the least. From what she could see only one of her daughter's claws had done damage to the wing membrane. The other scratches were not as serious.

She approached Bakari and began to lick the jagged wound before turning to Lanying.
"It is not as bad as I feared it would be. However Bakari knows that he won't be able to fly until this tear heals. He doesn't begrudge our daughter either."

She gently lay down beside Bakari and looked over at Lanying. "The best idea I can come up with is that he ride on my back for the time being. It's asking a lot but would you be able to help him climb up?"

He watched his mate tender to her familiar. He knew how much she cared for the creature even if he had not care for it. It wasn’t that he disliked Bakuri he just didn’t really care. He’d never really seen a reason to have a familiar, what where they for really? But he knew that both where in pain and that his mate, his Solstice shouldn’t be carrying the dragon right now. Slowly she shoot his head as he lowered himself to the ground. “ I will carry him, you need you’re strength. ”

( Really short, I thought I'd responded days ago)

Solstice looked up quickly to Lanying in shock. She would never have guessed that he would offer to carry Bakari but here the offer stood. Rising from her crouched position she glanced at her familiar before sighing softly in relief. With an injury like the one that the pandryl had obtained the simple act of carrying him on her back might have been much worse to handle as she was still feeling residual twinges of pain that passed between the link she and Bakari shared. Gently and with great care she managed to maneuver Bakari onto Lanying's back with his wings spread out. The clothing that Lanying wore would act as a cushion.

As she made sure that Bakari was secure she moved to Lanying's side and crouched down beside him before letting her head rest upon his shoulder. She spoke softly to him.
"Thank you for doing this. It would have been difficult to manage but I would have taken him. In this action you have shown me a great kindness."

Turning his head towards Solstice he nuzzled her cheek a little before licking her nose gently. " I'd do anything for you love. Anything at all, just ask. " Glancing at the pandryl out of the corner of his eye he made sure the smaller creature would have a good grip for when he stood and walked towards home. " We she stop by the stream on the way back. There is a plant that grows near it that can be used to help him heal faster. "
