Silverriver had fallen fast asleep. With Feathersong next to hear she felt warm, happy, and... something else.
---
The scent of fish swarmed around her nose mysteriously. She was dreaming of fish, and the scent wasn't helping much. Grunting silently in her sleep she opened one eye to see a fish in front of her. Blinking both of her eyes opened, she stood up and stared down at the fish. Silverriver was slightly dazed. With a shake of her head she saw Feathersong, a smile forming on her face. "Thank you..."

Feathersong nodded and pushed the bigger fish towards her then, dining on the smaller fish.

Silverriver blinked as he scooted the bigger fish towards her. She knew she wouldn't be able to say anything to him about it, and starting to nibble on it too.

Feathersong finished his fish soon and started licking around his jaws. "Do you want to walk around the territory?" Feathersong asked Silverriver thoughtfully.

A walk. So that was it. Silverriver finished her fish quickly and looked up at him. She smiled again and nodded, trying to recollect the memories of their last night together. She... Didn't remember much. Just the tears streaming down her eyes, him laying down next to her, and that was it. "Sure."

Feathersong smiled at Silverriver, a thing he hardly ever does, and stood up making sure Silverriver was by him and he started slowly padding into the light forest.

She wasn't surprised though. Silverriver was probably the only one that had seen one of Feathersong's rare smiles. That was one thing she could understand well. Following side-by-side with him, a smile appeared her face too.
