Hello! I'm Elainee and I live in California. Academia is very important to me and English and history are my favorite subjects. I love the history of art as well and am currently enrolled in an AP Art History class. I would love to discuss any of these topics.

Hey,I'm Lucy.I live in England and I'm 18 years old.
Cheers for the invite to the Guild,it's my first one and by the looks of the introductions here there's alot of substance and well thought out replies,so that's good.Norse and Welsh Mythology/History interests me and i'm still learning about those,so if anyone has more information or recommends any worth while reads, please tell me.I'm also a Writer and enjoy reading Poetry.I prefer being on my own then with other people as it allows me too analyze things in more detail and think more clearly.Guess that's about it..I suppose.

Hello All, I am the Pirate Queen of Avalon. You may call me PQ. As you can see I have a love of history ~ pirates. My cousin and I attend any Renaissance Festivals that we can make here in Texas. I even helped plan her wedding which was Medieval themed.
I am in my mid-30's, yes, an Ancient Gaian. I love to research my family history and have gone back to the 1700's with my research.
I also have a love for Ancient Egypt. The pyramids facinate me and I would love to see them some day.
I look forward to chatting with you.
PQ pirate

I'm not Nas. But Egyptology's a big thing lately. *coughs*blameYugiohandStargate*coughs*
But yeah.
I'm Fishsama, my RL name's Sean. I'm 18, I'm going to Miami University of Ohio (but not for long) and I am majoring in history.
I've reenacted frontier history since I was 10 years old (I'll show some pictures of me in my swag later) and have a rather good knowledge of 1750- about 1945 in historical (and more particularly military history terms) and I've recently been interested in writing historical fiction.
Due to my girlfriend Nadine, being an Australian I've recently been getting interested in their military history and cultural history as a whole seeing a lot of parallels between the US's frontier history and theirs, which has been fascinating to discover.

Plenty of people should know me already in one way or other; either way I'm cool. I'm not really the biggest history buff but I seem to know stuff, it's probably because I'm so cool.

Hello! My penname is Akira, same as my Gaia name. I love history, always have. I get excited about reading big historical encyclopedias. Yup, I'm a geek. biggrin
I love to read and write, and historical fiction is definitely up there as a favourite genre. The historical periods I know the most are Biblical times, the Industrial Revolution, and WWII, but my forte is the Tudor royal family. I was so excited to see The Other Boleyn Girl, and I noticed every historical error they made. One thing about knowing all these facts, it drives you crazy when they don't get it right. ^^

Hello, my name is Anthony. But you may call me whatever you lease. Most people prefer making nicknames for me. I like all kinds of history, but military history is my favorite. Chances are if I do dislike a historical event it was taught to me in a negative way, or where I read about it didn't give it the credit it deserves. My favorite historical person is Napoleon Bonaparte and when he lived along with the wars he was in and caused is my favorite time in history. Ancient China also interests me, such as the Three Kingdoms and Sun Tzu. I guess that's all I can say in my introduction. And thank you for inviting me to join.

Fresnel's the name. I mostly know American history and the wars we've been involved in. I pretty much don't remember a damn thing between 1800 and 1850, but the rest is reasonably clear. I'm a gun nut, so I know a bit about it there, but, again, mostly American weapons. I'm more or less a gigantic storehouse of totally useless information.

I love to study weapons, too! And no bit of information is useless; you'll need it someday, sometime, somewhere, so I hope you're not in despair. =D
