Kain couldn't beleive what was being said, an angel (/child/herald) hating her wings. It didn't seem right, so many young ones wished to fly from the earth, though he couldn't tell too much of difference thanks to the hovering. "All wings are different....to be honest i'd rather my wings weren't made of something as fragile as glass....beauty isn't everything though....i doubt they are ugly though...want to describe them to me? He was certain now, he wanted her to like her wings. Envy was one of hte worst sins...and he never wanted that to come in play over him.

Ophelia let out a bit of a sigh, she would have been happy for a change of subject but she complied, looking over her shoulder so she could see her hated wings and could describe them better.
"They're feathery and white at the top," she said, "but then they change, they look more like a- a bat's wings, and are a sort of green-black and purple." They really weren't that bad, part of her liked them a little even, but Dmitri hated them and that meant so should she, that was, at least for now, how her mind worked.

The older herald was very much confused at this statement, they seemed perfectly normal to him - what was wrong? "I don't understand...they sound really cool, they must feel nice against your back, soft feathers and somesort of then leather im guessing....much better than cold stiff glass." Kain Nigel did indeed love his wings, though right now he wasn't willing to show it or reasons why, but he could always pick out the bad points thanks to his old guardian. She was evil to him once she found out he was different but sadly after Bethan his new guardian he thought that was almost normal. "I can't really comment on the colours though....." he sighed wishing he could see in normal daylight, like everyone else. Least he wasn't completely blind....and it was good for training. There was an upside to everything he ever thought to remember it.

Ophelia didn't know what else to say and was certain she wasn't getting the terribleness of her wings across in words. She folded them up tightly against her back once more, hiding them the best she could.
"Can we... talk about something else?" she asked, not wanting to talk about her wings anymore.
