He let out a low rare chuckle. "That it would." Reikon had always been hesitant about family issues, not surprisingly, considering his rough family background.
"I do have a friend." He admitted grudgingly. Friend, or as he liked to call it 'Someone who liked bothering him'. He hadn't seen her in ages though.

"Friends are always pleasant to have" Oathkeeper replied, unknowing that Reikon was classifying 'friend' as something different. "One should never be without friendship. Friends are supposed to be there for you in times of need, as you can be in return for them" he continued. "I have a close friend I've met twice before, his name is Sibalto. Uniquely, he's a horse from another land. Came here with the pale settlers quite awhile back."
"But anyhow, what about you? Who's your friend? And where'd you meet?" Oath smiled.

Well, they had been there for each other when they were young. But now that they were older, would she forget? Would they both be awkward in each other's presence, if they ever met again?
It was what he sometimes wondered.
"We met when we were young." He replied. "Her parents were kind to me after mine met...with an unfortunate accident." He paused. "We've lost contact though."

"Sorry to hear that" Oathkeeper replied. "Maybe you should try to contact her again? I know the lands are big and all, but friends" he smiled "well, friends are important! I quite enjoy meeting new people and making new friends!"
