[P.e.n.g.u.i.n.] I heard Mike say that the soldier represents the harder more solid part of the album, and the wings represent the softer side. that sounds about right to me biggrin

Isn't that the soldier who was all over the reanimation c.d. case And HT. Hybrid Theory may also be referring to the theory of alien abduction that states that people are abducted (women mostly) to be a reproduction experiment. They try to up their living and ability by creating "hybrid children". It may have something to do with it. I mean, the wings are quite otherworldly...
