Pawing the ground, Admon tilted his head to the side slightly as the thought of an answer. Were the flowers that lasted only a year more lovely? Shaking his head then Admon knew what he could say but it didn't seem right that was his thoughts. " Indeed I think some flowers that last only a year more lovely. But those are my thoughts, I think it all matters on the different flowers. I love all different kind of flowers most of which last year after year. But I think thats only so I can see them other and over. I know I have a little usdia who has a talent for hunting out blue roses. Rare indeed they are and the most lovely things, but mostly its because they are just a shade of pale purple roses that look blue.....There are of course the extremely rare true blue roses and the two legger made blue roses but those are all different... It is all how one chooses to look at things and see them"
Glancing at the other stallions wings, he sighed softly before backing up a step then moving foward again in a nervous gesture. "This is completely off topic of our current talk but what is it like to fly? I was not so lucky as to get my fathers wings like my brother did"

Karma hadn't had time to fully contemplate Admon's latest response when Admon asked his question. It was indeed off topic. Karma was a little disappointed to have to break off from their current conversation but would go along with it. He shifted his wings in response to the attention, displaying long flight feathers underneath the downy plumes.
"It's like..." He searched to find the right words. "Being suspended apart from everyone and everything. My mother used to say that even wingless soquili could fly if they jumped off something high enough... that it was the same feeling."

"It must be nice. I've seen my father and brother fly around when their in their little forms, but its hard to ask them about flying. Their never really around.....And I'm sure you mother is right, but jumping would also cost the price of great injuries" Nodding his head slight, Admon turned his gaze upwards staring into the clouds for a moment.
" Off topic once again but did you know that flowers reproduce by air? Their seeds and pollen just going flying till they meet some where and then fall to the ground and sink in"

This Admon did seem to enjoy to jump from topic to topic, a strange habit but not bothersome. Karma joined his gaze and turned towards the sky, absorbing the new information that Admon had given him.
"I didn't know that but it seems very remarkable. I had thought that plants could only spread through their seeds that drop, like an acorn." He had seen himself the acorns sprouting into seedling trees. It seemed more practical than floating around in the air but considering that he didn't stay landbound himself he reflected that he couldn't fault the flowers.

" hmm that is true....some plants drop their seed on the ground and then let animals or two leggers kick their seeds or carry them to somewhere else they can grow. Plants are odd I think their is no mating, no needing of touch, or no some one to have young" Shaking his head Admon turned to look into the depths of the forest. " Plants are a no touch sort of lovers.... I don't think I could do that. Make young with some one I don't know some one who doesn't understand me"

"Ah, I see." Karma hadn't thought this was going to turn into a thought about their own breeding preferences. He couldn't talk about that as easily as talking about plants floating their children through the air. It wasn't that easy, and like Admon, he didn't plan on breeding with anyone that didn't understand him... or at least that he didn't understand himself.
"I wish you luck in finding a mate." He said it because he wasn't sure what else to say. It sounded like something that Admon would have to go through himself.

" I've tried with stallions and mares alike....I just want some one who can understand me. I really don't care if their a stallion or mare... I just want a love. Like my mother and fathers have, they came together and it was almost love a first site. But they didn't rush it they took time and fell in love. " Blinking Admon blushed slightly, before turning his gaze skywards again. " I'm sorry I tend to speak about whatever jumps into my mind. It must seem odd, Jumping about from topic to topic but I don't mean to do it I just do."

Stallions or mares? Karma had thought the stallion was talking about mating but now wasn't so certain. He had thought that only stallions and mares could mate, not stallions and stallions. The purpose of mating seemed usually to make baskets and he hadn't thought that stallions could make baskets without a mare involved. This other stallion knew a lot about flower breeding so maybe he knew something about soquili breeding that Karma didn't.... unless he was just talking about loving someone without having children, in which case Karma supposed it was much less unlikely to occur.
"That's all right. You say many interesting things..." He hadn't had a chance to think about most of the things he had discussed with Admon. He didn't regret at all taking the time to speak with this stranger. "I hadn't realized that some stallions loved other stallions. I've never seen it happen before." He wasn't embarrassed as he spoke and no negativity clouded his tone. He didn't see anything wrong with it, he just hadn't known about it until now.

"There are not many that and it is not normal the love is simply that love it can not end in foals. So in some cases it is more pure no hidden need to gain young or keep a line going. But in other senses it is harder no young to prove your love beside the words and actions. " Sighing softly, Admon turned his gaze back to the forest.
"Many do not understand becaouse it could be seen as unnatural for two stallions to be together. And I guess it is, nature means for mares and stallions to be together but why can't we be together for love"

Karma could find nothing to disagree with in that. It wasn't his place to judge who could and could not love others. He might find something strange... but he found many aspects about other soquili strange. It would be unkind and shortsighted for him to condemn everything that he didn't understand so he had long since revolved to be accepting.
"I don't see that you should limit yourself based upon the suppositions of others," he remarked when seeing Admon's melancholy. "They cannot stop you from doing what you like even if they disagree with it." Even as he said his soft words he wondered if that was true. If one soquili disagreed with another enough then they might attempt to force the other to their way. Karma had seen mild versions of this happening before. Could another soquili be so bothered by a stallion's love for another stallion to try to stop it? He didn't know.

"Stop....No, well not always. But they can tease and so much more, their own ways of making one stop. At first I was confident...show offy even but now it seems point less now. That part of me hids from the teaing from it all." Glancing up at the slowly setting sun, Admon smiled softly. He was bothered by this topic, he was bothered by telling others he wasn't sure of himself. It was stupid of himself he was always telling others to be true to themself but he couldn't do it.
"The sun will set soon. If you want to walk with me I know where there are flowers that glow in the moon light"

Karma's own eyes followed the setting sun. It was later in the day than he had thought. He didn't fly very much at night, especially not over unseen territories. He could never be certain of where he could land safely in the dark. With that in mind, he decided he might as well accept the other stallion's invitation. He felt a stirring of curiosity about the moon flowers, too.
"I would be grateful if you did show me them," he said mildly while still watching the changing colors of sunset. Admon must live in the area if he knew where the flowers grew. That was one aspect of settling down that Karma had to admit that he was lacking. He could only find what he stumbled upon by chance, like this meeting and so many others.

" There are a great deal of them around were the willows grow" Nodding softly, Admon took on last look at the settting sun before setting off. He had grow accustom to ways off the beaten path while exploring for flowers. But it was odd Admon has not even shown his mother theses ways, mayhaps it was time to show other the wonders of flowers around them. Snorting to himself, Admon glanced around as he entered the tree line. Turning to look at the other stallion Admon smiled softly. " The paths we will take are not well known."
And with that Admon moved off the beaten path into the tall grass around it. Starting down the path he could more feel then see, Admon hummed softly as he went glancing back ever so often to see if the other stallion was still behind him.

Karma moved through the tall grass with care. He neither wanted to destroy the scenic atmosphere by leaving a path of trampled grass or step into a hole that he hadn't known was there. Admon seemed to know this path well but Karma couldn't say the same for himself.
It was peaceful, following after his new acquaintance like this. Karma was glad for the stop even if it delayed his flight a little. It seemed like he would see something worth stopping for, and the conversation had been interesting as well. He continued following after Admon, silent for the moment.

Silently making his way along the path, Admon lead the way a slow and steady pace. It felt odd to bring some one with him last time he had gone to the glowing flowers he had been a foal with his mother. Shaking the the thoughts from his mind Admon slowed a bit more as the came into the denser darker part of the forest. Humming softly so his follower would be able to follow him Admon contiuned on his way. Stopping short of the willow trees Admon glanced around before heading to a tree near the center of the grove. Glancing back to make sure the other stallion was with him. Admon slowly strained his neck up grabbing one of the willow branched he tugged on it till it slowly moved letting in more moon light into the grove.
Stepping back Admon smiled softly, looking at the flowers as the moon light gave the soft while petals a gentle white glow. "See in the moon light they glolw. I don't know what causes it but its lovely isn't it? Soft and white with the gentle glow they appear to be pure untouched"
