1. I know. I thought about that after I posted. That's what my second post was for. That and, well, to feed my sadistic tendencies.

2. You don't get bored now? I mean, you know you're alive for an infinite amount of time, and you still get bored. Think about knowing you'll live for several hundred years. I'd be bored as hell. And probably a recluse.

3. Two things:
  • People don't want to believe that someone could have eternal youth. You'd probably either be assassinated by the marketers of Botox or some anti-aging cream, or locked away in an asylum.
  • You could be like Methuselah and have books written about you and be in the Bible and s**t. Except, you know, you wouldn't be as...old-looking. And creepy. I can imagine Methuselah to be like that old guy who lives down the street and stares at the little boys when they go out to play. Definitely. [On the other hand, I can completely see Blkie being that old guy. With or without eternal youth.]

Well as for being bored, just knowing you will live longer would give you more of a chance to do more things, you wouldn't feel like you had to get your first 50 years perfect in order for your life to work out =P. But yes, you'd still get bored, but there are always things to do.

And as for the old man thing >.>.....If anything I'd be looking at 16 year old girls, not little boys. I may be a ***** lion but I'm a straight ***** lion ;_;...(lmfao though)
You say you're straight now, but as you also said, "you'd still get bored, but there are always things to do." [If I cared at all, I'd be fearing for my salvation right about now. But I'd much rather eat this delicious looking orange.]

Yeah, but why the hell would you want eternal youth? I don't think I could stand being immortal. You'd be bored as hell. And you'd have to watch everyone around you die.

Well... there are some plus sides to eternal youth like, getting to do whatever you want, catching up with stuff you forgot to do and such and reading lots of books. But, the negatives would be, as you stated watching friends die, and you would have to move to a new location every so often to avoid being found out. It would be quite interesting to manipulate these Cells/DNA. Unfortunately I highly doubt no one would volunteer for this scientific research because of the high dangers sweatdrop .
Yeah, but, I mean...I'd get ******** bored. You know, there are a limited amount of books. You could learn every language and read every book in every language, and you'd still run out. Eventually, you'd spend all of your days plotting the best way to kill yourself. Or everyone else...

...I revise my initial statement. Sign me up for eternal youth.

Quoting both of you to comment on both of you =P.

1. I never said ANYTHING about immortality. Immortality and Eternal youth are two ENTIRELY different things. If you're immortal, you CANNNOT die, at all, ever. Eternal Youth simply means you wont age, doesn't mean you can't be killed, cant get sick and die, cant put a gun to your head and pull the trigger and die...Personally I do not believe any being at all (humans, spirits, gods, ect) are immortal.

2. There are plenty of things to do if you could live for several hundred years.

3. Why wouldn't you want to be found out? Imagine not aging for 50 years, imagine the influence you could have, imagine being able to prove that magick exists and can co-exist with science. Imagine then using this influence to teach people to open their minds, and then you can teach them countless other things; Energy Manipulation, healing, how to care for and protect each other.

1. I know. I thought about that after I posted. That's what my second post was for. That and, well, to feed my sadistic tendencies.

Exactly my point, people wouldn't want to believe anyone could have Eternal Youth. Two words. Mental Hospital. Another thing is if everyone had Eternal Youth... think about it. The world would be over-populated. Don't get me wrong, I hope that people could open their minds to magick, but people couldn't accept the fact that [for instance] "I have Eternal Youth, now open your minds to magick!" Most people would think I'm some srcrewy mental person.

Not if legal records say you were born in 1989 and the year is 2274....they can't throw you in a mental hospital for not aging XD...

Yes, they can. And they would. And you'd probably have a criminal suit against you for "identity theft".

And if everyone stopped aging...that'd be it. Time to emigrate. And I don't mean leave the country.

That's the other thing I forgot to mention, burn your Birth Certificate. They would throw you in jail *thinks about illegal immigrants*, but could they really put you in a mental hospital for not aging?? I know the government is corrupt, but could they? Now, if you actually said you weren't aging, then I could see.

I'm pretty sure all of this is why in fiction the immortal characters tend to stay under the radar.

Yeah, but only if your DNA is already in the system. I mean, what, do you think they keep little vials of everyone's DNA who has ever lived just sitting around in some warehouse out in Kansas? Possible, but doubtful.

Hey, I'm as much of a conspiracy theorist as the next guy, but even that's a stretch. Although, if there's another huge tax spike, then it might be feasible (which reminds me...idunwannadomytaxes).

Because the government is giving out free money this year. That's really the main incentive.

Remember, children, if you don't do your taxes, there's going to be a nice man in a black suit and fedora with a briefcase at your door. Unless, of course, you don't make enough that you have to file. Then you're ok.
