I think the two make adorable friends! <3 I never got a hateful feeling from the two, especially when they interacted. O_O IRL, two girls can be best friends and like the same guy... in most of those situations, one girl gives up the guy, or they both try to get him (in a friendly way XD) . With Aeris and Tifa, they would be happy as long as Cloud was also happy. So, if he ended up with one of them, or let's say ZACK even, they wouldn't care because they aren't stuck up characters. x3

My favorite Aeris and Tifa interaction would be where they first met, how'd they finish each other's thoughts and sentences. (Slyly I might add. xd )

My favorite is when Tifa defends Aeris when Hojo calls her a creature/animal (I can't remembeR) . I thought that was so sweet. <3

I think that Aeris and Cloud are usually seen as a couple with a blossoming love or something in FFVII but then when Aeris dies (>o<), they change their minds to see them as just good friends. And then Tifa becomes Cloud's true love o:

You have to remember Cloud isn't very interested in Aeris romantically. The game gives you things like Cait Sith's predictions to make you think something might be developing between the two, and Aeris throwing herself on Cloud hints at it as well. Then, Cloud regains himself, and you find out it's been Tifa all along that he's loved. Aeris isn't the 'main' love interest in Disk 1 like some people think, they just tried to hint at something so her death would have more of an impact. You aren't expecting a potential love interest to die like that. Tifa has hints as well during Disk 1... but all that matters is what the real Cloud thinks, and the real Cloud loves Tifa.
