i've taken French for 10 years (woah....)
and "no" in French is "non" but is really pronounced "no" (with like a short o sound)
my favorite word is pamplemousse (grapefruit)

I learn French to impress the ladies. It worked because now I have a beautiful wife who I adore and love very much.

Most people in France speak French.
There's people in Canada who speak a dialect derived from 18th century French, though the folks in the old country would say that Quebecois is not really French.
And then there's Cajun French down in Louisiana. But the Quebeckers would say that Cajun isn't really French.
And then there's Howard Tomb who published a book called "Wicked French" which is a collection of insults for the annoyed traveller abroad.

Le français est ma langue natale et je l'adore (Fench is my native language and I love it). French is such a beautiful language, even if it difficult to learn.

No, I do not. I plan on learning though, because me and a friend are going to (try and) learn separate languages. We want to go to Europe for her graduation present. 3nodding
