Cozen waited outside the Teepee after Alyna went inside. He wasn't very wet after all, except for a spot on his side. But this was nothing to make a deal over. Instead, he walked over to where his Father stood. "Aly got wet."
Spotty awoke when he felt November leave his side. For a moment he wondered why the children were back so soon, but quickly noticed the soaked Alyna. Even though he was still tired, the stallion got up and started moving for the teepee. But after only a few feet he was stopped by Cozen. Spotty then figured that he could keep his son company while November dried Alyna off. "I see that," he couldn't help but laugh at the colt's blunt statement.

Shivering and shaking, Alyna was slowly dried off by her mother. What with all the licking and her mom rubbing blankets on her, she though that it may have been better for her to be wet. "Mom, I'm dry already!" she said, protesting yet another blanket dropped on her hide.
"Nonsense!" said November, fussing with her damp mane. "I won't have you catch cold! You'll be grateful for all of this when you don't wake up coughing tomorrow morning." Alyna just huffed, and looked away. November finished up, and led the blanket-covered Alyna out of the teepee. Walking up to her mate, she nuzzled him fondly and said, "She's almost dry. I couldn't quite get her mane dry, but it shouldn't harm her for it to be a little damp."
Lyka, highly amused by the protesting Alyna, just grinned and proceeded to bat at the bottom corner of one of Alyna's blankets.

Spotty could help but laugh at the voices coming from the teepee. There was no doubt that Alyna was less than happy with November fussing with her. "Your mother knows best Aly," he called from where he sat with Cozen.
When the two appeared out of the teepee, Spotty returned the nuzzle to his mate. "I'm sure she'll be fine, but Cozen may need a little fussing over," he said with a grin.
"No! I'm totally dry and totally fine!" Cozen jumped back a few feet. He did not want to suffer the same fate as his sister. Plus, he had only gotten a little wet from when Alyna splashed.

"Did you get wet, too? Let me look at you..." November peered down at him, scrutinizing him thoroughly until she found the one wet place on his flank. "Oh, is that all? I suppose I can let you dry off on your own...just don't get any wetter, ok?" She smiled, and then walked over to Spotty. "I think you could use some fussing over as well." She said, grinning at him before gently planting a kiss on his cheek.
"Eww! Gross!" Alyna said, trying to shake off some of the blankets.
