The older drow just smiled, the same as always as he leant a little more on the plates of the golems skull, giving the back of Kai's head an increasingly amused look. Why he had such an aversion to such a unique creation was anyones guess, in all honesty. He just couldn't see why there was such a problem.
"He should..?" He started then paused again as he listened carefully. "Actually.. I don't think I'll take too much offense to him if he can't. I like to see a trader who has his priorities in the right order. Good stock means good money with means better care for his stock and comforts.. I do quite look forward to this now."

The shops begin to thin out as he moved closer to White downs and small gardens and corals for domistic animals started to appear. Food for Reezez stock. The air smelled slightly of beast but the gardens kept it down till a more earthy scent. Drow males tended to the gardens and herds dressed in deep blue with White down's written on lapels. Reezez kept very good care of his stock.

"That why I narrowed it down to White down's or Mi's..there more places open but..they aren't clean." Jysayne shrugged. "Rest of the clean places are contract only and Mi's get her parts though Reezez when things don't work out...so if Rezzy doesn't have what you want...it's only a short walk to Mi's."

Prau cast his eyes about as he was led into the beginnings of the shop, it smelt but not of decay and death, which was, bizarrely to him, a good thing when he was dealing with his stock.
He nodded to Kai, "Well, that's all very well, but when am I going to actually see someone who can help me?" He was growing frustrated with this slightly one sided conversation. He hadn't wanted to spend too much time in the east dark if he could help it.

Kai nodded and finally pointed to the rather subtle sign proclaiming White Downs and a near looking medium size shop. "Told you it took a while," he muttered in amusement. "And I'm sure someone has already sighted you, your pet and went to tell Ree'ez he has company."

Jys paused, looking up watching slim older drow with silvering hair left the shop softly aruging with a worker before looking up. "And there is Ree'ez...I don't think he likes your pet here.." Fainly he wandered if he should have mentioned Rezzy might not want flesh golems around his stock.

Ree'ez walked slowly, stride smooth and well balanced. He wore well worn padded armor, steel flashing from his wrist to elbows and ankle to knee smelling faintly of animal. "..Hello Jysayne..you brought a friend?"

"..It's Kai now..and this is Prau of the Gel'd house. He's looking for parts.." Jysayne said wincing slightly before tugging his hair back.

"Parts...what sort of parts?"

The elder drow arched an eyebrow, his eyes flicking between the two drow on the ground, his smirk widening a little more. So Kai was a false name, was it..? Perhaps it would have been wise to give an alias in turn. It was a little late for that now.
"Sadly there is little I can do regarding my golem.. I sadly must refuse to dis-assemble him here, it would be incredibly difficult to re-create him once more at such short notice.." He continued, ordering his minion to kneel as he dismounted and removed the leather and cloth from it's spiny shoulder.
A moment later, having swiftly folded the material and stowed it away he turned to offer his hand to the owner of the beastiery, "Prau.. I'm after a surface creature, something by the means of a kelpie or another such shape-shifting surface demon.."

Ree'ez eyes flickered to the golem. "Would you mind..if we stabled your golem in one of the barns? I rather not have it around my stock and chance them getting wound up." Just to return to Jysayne grining slightly. "Usual Jyse?"

Jysayne sigh before nodding, knowing Ree'ez wasn't going to start calling him Kai. Part of him missed hearing his actual birth name instead of the forenige sounding one he asumed in the San hana seki. "Usual."

"As for shape- shifters we might have something that suits your needs. The last kelpie to come in was destroyed a month ago, parts dried and sold to Mi...first lets deal with your..friend here." Ree'ez paused before taking the hand noticing he had rambled. "Ree'ez, and I will see what I can find that suits your needs Prau. If you would follow me?"

Prau nodded slowly, his eyes flicking up and down the owner of the place, making an attempt to judge his character. He was abysmal at it, he always had been, luckily should the worst happen his golem was more than capable of handling itself.
"Alright then, it wouldn't be proper of me to hype up your stock.." He concluded, murmuring to his golem, as he took a few steps forward, "He only listens to my will, please take me to where you would like him to stay.."
They had shape shifters..? His small smile broadened at once! They were just so hard to come by!
"I'm willing to pay more than their worth if you can get your hands on a kelpie.. That is precisely what I'm looking for, but they are such hard beasts to keep alive below ground."

Jysayne calmed as Ree'ez shoulders soften slightly. He rather not mess this up and something really spook that Rezzy would have forcibly removed Prau from his territory is Prau pushed keeping the golem. "Did your owl bear have cubs?" He questioned following the elder as he turned.

"Mmm, two and we'll place him," Ree'ez used the mascuilan pronoun now he was sure it was male. Frankly he wasn't going to argue with it's creator,"in the smaller barn..he won't be distrubed or heckled." You could not run a shop and not care for clientals beast as well.

"..We will have to see, last one bite the s**t out of my doppeganger while he supervised it's transport and proceded to take bites out of my staff when we finally installed it in the encloser." Ree'ez open the barns door, stepping in the empty space. "Set him in a stall..I won't be getting any other cliental till latter tomorro early."

Prau's eyes flicked down to Jsyayne.. No, Kai as he spoke. Owl-bear? He couldn't help smiling, there was never an end to the strange creatures one could find when you looked.
"Him..?" He mused, looking at his golem as he followed the owner to the barns, "Well, I say him, I don't believe it has a gender so I suppose it doesn't matter so much. He should be fine though.." He inspected the barn briefly, his golem following close behind him. "Yes, it will be good.." He nodded his approval, signaling the golem to move forward and stay put in the stalls.
It followed through it's orders, turned to face the doors and fell silent and fairly still, watching them with oddly unseeing eyes from deep within what looked to be empty sockets.
Prau soon turned back to Reeze'ez at the violent talks of the previous creature, "Have you found them all to have such a violent disposition in your experience..? I have a fairly long trip to make back home is all.."
PostPosted: Tue Feb 26, 2008 6:23 pm

"Only had one Kelpie before..they are hard creatures to find. Part of the violent disposition might be from the crew." Ree'ez eyes narrowed. "They wheren't my usual hires. I won't be able to get an other till Naoi heals enough to go out again...But lets see if anything we currenlty stock is fine in it's place."

Jysayne eyes flickerd to Prau's questioning, thinking if the necro should know his name before following Ree'ez as he left the stall. "Thought you wanted parts..not critters. Can't you just kill it and do some spell to keep the parts fresh till you get back home?" He questioned. He knew nothing of necromancer arts.Well besides the fact they raised zombies.

He hurried up to keep with the longer leg Ree'ez as the entered White down, breezed past the ground floor full of offices and workers quartors and down below where the beast where kept.

The drow nodded as he followed after the other man, his golem watching them all the while they were in sight, the sound of the long horn on it's nose rubbing steadily against the side of the stall until they were out of sight and earshot of the barn.
"I have to say that my first choice would have been the kelpie, what could you recommend to me that is of a similar nature and of similar build anatomically? The shape shifting and nervous systems are very important.." He queried, keeping pace easily, shifting his staff that was tucked through the loop of his belt.
His eyes soon rested on the other smaller drow, trying not to look too amused, "Ahh.. I say parts as, in the end, that is in fact all that my art comes down to. It is best for me to have them kept alive until I need them for re-assembly. The fresher the parts the better the minions, fiends and golems become!" He smiled a little again, "It can even depend on the method that the creature was slain as to how well the parts harmonise, and I usually require an entire system from a creature. If I need it to breathe, I try to take an entire pulmonary system from a single creature. It just makes things smoother in the long run." He tried explaining.

Jysayne mmed slightly as he scurried ahead with Ree'ze careful when they stepped on the slim cat walk over the first encloser. It swayed slightly under his weight fingers resting on the guild rails. He understood a small part of that but not all. It was all rather confusing.

"A pooka is the closest thing we have currently. Naoi has a small herd he keeps as mounts." Ree'ez replied, throwing an amused look at Jys as he leaned over slightly. "Be careful, if you fall in the owl bear will kill you and feed you to her young. Besides the Pooka, I've obtained a young copper dragon and a Tanuki neither that would suit your needs."

Jys sigh moving away following along. Falling down in the owl bear nesting grounds below really wouldn't be good. Faintly he wounded how Rezzy had managed to get trees and green growing things to grow in his enclosers before shrugging it away. "Will Naoi give one up?" He muttered.

Prau hesitated a little before he followed the other two drow onto the narrow slightly rickety looking walkway, making a point of holding onto the guide-rails very firmly, his knuckles paling slightly. Heights had never been his strong point, not on a drow-made structure at least!
"P-Pooka..?" He queried nervously as he followed slowly, "I'm not familiar with those.." He murmured shortly afterwards, shivering a little at the talks of being eaten should he fall! It wasn't helping his vertigo in the slightest!
PostPosted: Wed Feb 27, 2008 6:47 pm

Jys glanced back hearing the slight tremble, watching Prau walk slowly across the the walkway. "Pooka's are type of shapeshifter horses, if you get on a Pooka's back they take up running to scare the living s**t out of you," Jysayne replied.

He step close to Prau slightly amusement on his face. "It's solid. You can jump on it and it won't tip over." And the younger proceeded to jump slightly, making it trimple just a litte bit. "I'm pretty sure Ree'ez fed his owl bear..most she do is probably maul you."

Ree'ez glanced back, eyes amused. "Just a little bit more," he drawled up at the end of the cat walk, opening the door.

The older drow tore his eyes from the edge of the board long enough to blink at the pair for an extended period of time. He didn't move forward however.
"So a pooka is, essentially, a kelpie. One that runs fast as opposed to running to water to drown their rider, yes..?" He mused over that, his eyes trailing back to the board as he continued along it again.
He froze at the jumping, his dark skin paling ever so slightly, his ruby eyes widening almost impossibly.
"Oh goddess.. " He muttered under his breath, holding on the the railings so tightly his nails had started to dig into his palms. "Oh by the Goddess help me.." He uttered to himself more than anyone else, quietly asking for the strength not to pass out or fall.
