About the sphinx
The sphinx traditionally is viewed as a powerful and cunning protector of various places or even at times people. Often, the beast itself is said to have be a winged lioness with a humanoid face. The sphinx is often associated with ancient Egypt, epically from this famous Monument.Being from a variety of stock's the Sphinx carries a variety of ability's that mark it as a protector. From the lioness it of course carries over its ferocity in battle, often killing its prey in the traditional way, AKA going for the neck. After all the word sphinx, means to strangle in Roman, which is how a female in a pride traditionally finishes off her meal. Of course, it is capable of flight, and because of this will hunt down violator's of whatever creed or protection they have broken. But the beast is also capable of human tong, and is dubbed as a very intelligent creature. At times, it may ask a riddle, and if answered correctly the victim may be spared death.
Personal note- Out of all the creatures and possible changes, this is my fav.


Why the change?
Quite a few reasons actually! First of all, a recurring theme you will see in many of these choices, the Sphinx is of course, a female creature. And what would be a better 'reward' for Deon's sexual conquests then to become a female himself? Of course a deeper reason for the choice of this creature, after all the sphinx can be considered a selfless creature. You see, traditionally the sphinx lives to protect something, thus it does not live for itself. And for Deon, this would be a great repair on his selfish psyche. Not only that, but the lion part of a sphinx can be related of course to cats, which are sometimes called loving, caring, compassionate creatures. All of these traits that Deon dose not at all have. But there is of course, the nature of how inhuman the creature is, and what I have in mind For Deon would strip him of most of his humanity. You see, I would prefer it if his human face became more feline then normal, which will be displayed in the pictures for the sphinx. IT would defiantly be a learning experience for Deon though, losing everything bad he once had, and gaining a better personality, and a body that he deserves. After all...you wouldn't call him a shining example of humanity, now would you?

I just love this picture, although it looks very feline, there is still somewhat of a hint of human features in the facial structure. And dosent Deon look so content with his new form?

One of many images in this category, and outlines a possible color scheme. As you can see the hands and feet have not yet become paws, nor has the face fully finished taking a more feline shape. Even the ears aren't quite done with the transition. Also, notice how the wings seem to not be quite formed, and have what seems to be a furish layer of down, not true feathers yet.

An alternate take on the 75% category, and this is a good picture of a traditional sphinx. Yet, the face hasn't at all started to become feline, and there is still fur that needs to come in. Again, another possible color scheme.

Another picture similar to the traditional, but as you can see Deon in this version has still retained his bipediable stance to some degree. Also, the wings seem to be more of from an exotic bird then the traditional.

As you can see this sphinx is still very human like. And if it were Deon, it seems his female fancy for jewelry has kicked in, as well as perhaps makeup. Also, it seems as though his hands have become nothing more then claws now.

The Harpy

About the About the Harpy
Yet another legend from Greece, the Harpy is a terrifying beast. Half bird, half woman, this creature is said to be horribly disfigured and terrifying to look upon. In some legend's their duty was to tortured spirits as they made their trip to the underworld with vicious pecking, horrible shirking, and other horrible acts. Yet in other stories the birds were said to grasp people with their powerful talons before carrying them off to their nests before they ate them alive. One trait held true throughout all the stories, these beasts were disgusting, and their voices, ghastly.



Why the change?
Vanity was perhaps Deon's greatest sin. And unlike the siren, the harpy takes all of his good traits and turns them into abominations. His looks will become disgusting, his voice wretched. And his personality will degrade even further, becoming beast like and violent, craving nothing more then the pain as well as flesh of others. It would be a very horrible curse placed upon him for how he choose to live his life.

The Fairy

About the Fairy
Originally an umbrella term used to describe various mythological beings, the term fairy is now tied with the tiny winged tricksters that we know today. Often, they are described as magical, often times casting magic to trick and bother others. Sometimes they even use their powers to keep humans lost in the woods forever wandering. Of course the version I would like to use is small, twisted, and holds nothing but malice for others.




Why the change?
Small stature leads to little respect, and the fairy is a very small creature. And in some folklore, the fairys are very feminine, often screaming it from the proverbial rooftops. What better way for a womanizer to learn respect for females?

Nearing the end of its change, this fairy is starting to lose its wings and her skin is starting to change a sickly color as she starts to turlly become the right form

An insect like fairy pretty far into the transformation into an evil version of itself. The wings are now tattered and it seems to be growing some sort of outer skin, perhaps like a carapace to further its hideous appearance.

A basic fairy, with slightlly dark overtones. Deon is begging its decent into a new form. Although normal size and still capable of wearing normal cloths, his magical powers are manifesting.

The Banshee

About the Banshee
Generally the Banshee is regarded as a sign of death or ill omen. In legend it is said that a banshee's moan will be heard within a home the night before someone within will die. Also, it is said that their moaning, sometimes twisted singing even, will drive both men and mere rabid as well as insane. Yet, this could be confused with the legend that Banshee's are a cast of specters were well adapted to take control and process humans. Although described as fair specter like female's, Ill be taking the Undead approach to this. Because of this, the specter will not be a beautiful maiden, but rather a horrible symbol of death.


Why the change?
Perhaps the most obvious reason is of course Deon's profession, and best talent, his voice. IT would become a horrible shirking moan, that would only bring death as well as insanity. Not only that but the man will actually die during the change, becoming an ghastly undead horror. Did I also mention that the banshee is a female specter?

As you can see Deon has completed his journy to the living grave. His flesh is a rotten shade of green now, his hair almost completelly gone. And his eyes glow an unatruail shade of yellow. This version is more of a zombie then a skeletal specter as displayed in the picture at the top of this under 'The Banshee'

Although he is still changing, Deon has already well on his way to unlife. His flesh is still undergoing purification, and his organs still hold blood within them. Yet, he still seems concerned with his flesh, after all you can see the stitching, but it wont be enough for what hell soon become.

Deon has just technically died now, his skin now pain, and his blood now starting to ooze out of his eyes, his nose, and even his skin among other parts of his body. And his voice is just starting to gain the true power of a Banshee. Note, that in this pic he is taking on a more traditional form, a specter in white.

This picture struck me as odd, because the legs are gone. Perhaps they are something that vanish with the change, thus the reason for flight and the traditionally long dress? Also note the soulless deadlike eyes.
