Amnity looked out the window of her apartment, she wanted to see the sights one more time. Desolate. Beautiful, but extremely desolate. The soldier took a deep breath and sighed. Usually, her old reaction would be quite opposite. She would smirk sadistically at the bare battle ground she before her, almost smelling the odor of blood in the air, but no, she wasn't like that anymore.

She got up and sat on her makeshift bed, which was just a mattress in an empty apartment. She looked around, feeling a bit embarrassed that the only thing that furnished her room were empty artillery boxes. Amnity shook her head, she shouldn't feel embarrassed about this room, it was her room! And better yet, the storage room under this one stored all of her weapons. Yup, all of the weapons that she collected from all of the battles she had fought through the years.

The soldier headed downstairs and opened the storage room. With a flick of the switch, the whole room was illuminated. She could see her, Broadsword, Longsword, Shortsword, Battle axe, Katana, Tantos, Daggers, Knives, and spears, but that was only on one side of the wall. On the other wall were the guns. AR-15 assault rifles (civilian model of the M-16), UZI submachine gun, Tavor assault rifles, Galil assault rifles, Magal assault rifles, her Beretta 9mm pistol, her Smith & Wesson .38 revolvers, and her favorite, the Colt Magnum revolvers. Now this room was her favorite room.

She equipped her belt holster, slipping 2 colt magnum revolvers into them before exiting the room. Amnity fixed her black feathered hat and exited the apartment building to patrol the streets. "You can run as fast as you can, you can run, run run as fast as you can. sooner or later we will hunt you down...We will hunt you down..."

Carys smiled at the twins' tactics, but she frowned at Aiva's question. "No, I haven't heard from Ray." She sat a moment, thinking, when she suddenly lurched forward. "Ow, my foot is asleep." She made a face to compete with the one Terra had made. "Maybe I'll take a look outside for a moment." She stood, cursing lightly under her breath as she put her weight on her right foot. "Be right back." She headed to the door and took a few steps out, looking to either side. She saw no sign of Ray, but she thought she caught sight of Amnity.

"Amnity!" She yelled, waving. "Hey, did you get the memo about the meeting?"

A couple of mintutes after the women left Kairina finally turned around and walked to the door. She took her delicate time as she walked down the hallways to the dinning hall. Her arms were placed right on her sides barely moving with the mayor's strides. Finally, Kairina reached the the door to the dinning hall that held many people waiting for her. As she opened the door to the room she noticed many annoyed looks on people's faces. Kairina's expression said nothing though, it remained blank and she still held herself high and confiently.

Amnity turned and saw a familiar friendly face greet her kindly. She immediately released the grip she had on her revolver and smiled back at Carys. She would never admit it, but the only thing that brought her enough joy to come outside her apartment was to see her dearest friend's bright, happy face.

"Oh! Yes, I've gotten the memo. I'm very sorry for being late Carys, I just had to get a few of my weapons before I set off to the meeting." she apologized as she walked and entered the coffee shop. Quickly, she examined the room for any suspicious looking objects or people before sitting down in a table. The soldier kindly declined when a waitress offered her coffee. She tapped her hand on the table softly as she kept her other hand securely on her revolver.

"Hi!" Terra said to Amnity, after she had taken a huge gulp of coffee. Aiva merely noddoed and took a sip of her coffee. Personally Aiva thought there was no such as a 'perfect soldier', if something was smart enough to be a perfect it would also be smart enough to have emotions, and it wouldn't be perfect if it wasn't a killing machine. Why couldn't scientist just deal with the facts? Aiva wondered. Her sister's voice suddenly cut through her thoughts. "Can I have your coffee?" Terra asked, practically bouncing up and down. "I think you've had enough." Aiva said. Terra made a face before putting her chin in her hands. /she stared at the door hoping Ray would get here soon.

Carys slowly followed Amnity to the table, still favoring her right foot. "That's fine, I was just wondering. This meeting was a little last-minute." She sat down and gave Terra a look. "I'm sorry, but your sister is right, you've had enough for one evening." She sighed and looked around. "Where is Ray? He should have been here by now."

((@ Kiree_luv: I hope you don't mind me inserting myself as one of your advisors, but I noticed you were the only non-rebel.))

Valeda caught sight of the mayor slipping into the dining hall as she turned to pace the hallway yet again. Picking up her pace, she followed into the large room, noting the looks of displeasure on most countenances. Val rolled her eyes. It took a while to get used to this particular mayor, but once you did, she was a good leader.

( I don't care ^^ I'm just happy to have someone else on the mayor's side xD)

Kairina walked over to her seat and sat down. She smoothed her black skirt before looking up. She noticed Valeda in the room too and was reliefed that someone here didn't disapprove of her actions. Kairina folded her hands on her lap and looked around at everyone waiting for the meeting to start.

Valeda took a seat near Kairina as people began to take their seats as well. She gave the mayor a look and rolled her eyes at the rest of the room. Since Kairina didn't say anything, she decided it was time for everyone else to quiet down. Rising from her seat, she cleared her throat. When that didn't have the desired result, she yelled loudly, "Hey!" The room fell to silence. "Shall we begin?"

Kairina nodded her head towards Valeda in thanks for silencing everyone. She turned her attention back to everyone else. Then she pushed her chair back and stood up straight. "Thank you all for being here for the meeting." she began with a wierd tone of quietness yet power. "As almost everyone here knows there have been rumors going around about a group of rebels. We are almost certain that this is infact true and if so need to be stopped."

Amnity tipped her black hat politely when Terra had greeted her. She didn't feel the need to greet her back though because it may lead to a small conversation which she'd like to avoid as much as possible. The soldier cursed herself for not bringing her Magal assault rifle, it would have been much lighter and safe if she had brought it. Her black gunner cloak could not conceal her entire arsenal though if she had decided to bring her Cilical or the MG42 either, so she had to put up with the stupid colt magnum revolvers.

The woman checked her jacket pocket for her container of pills. She took out 2 and popped them into her mouth as if they were tick tacks. The medicine should cool her immune system down a notch. Due to the augmentation process, she can see farther, move faster, and hear better, but has significant health problems, such as a weakened immune system, and will occasionally have coughing fits, severe enough to tear the lining of her throat, leading to blood while coughing. The militant scientists that had raised and trained her to be a "perfect soldier" just wrote her off as one of the many failed experiments, this angered her a lot. After almost 2 decades of doing their bidding, assassinations, spying, terrorism, and they just tossed her aside as if she was nothing. Amnity's blood boiled at the memories, but she calmed herself down, this wasn't the place to get angry.

Valeda cleared her throat and spoke up. "I'm sure many of you are aware of the events of the last year and a half. There have been anonymous attacks on many high officials and anyone in power. There have been several sabotages on government business and in government buildings. Many of you have had your people fighting in the streets." She sent a look around the room and saw that most people looked angry. Everyone had been affected. "We have finally been able to get a trace of the culprits and it is more than just public unrest. When people began clearing out, I suspected outright rebellion and true enough, we have intelligence reports of just that."

Aki listened from the back of the room, leaning against the wall. She wasn't part of the meeting, though she could stay and listen. She would have to tell Ray or Carys what she learned, even though she was missing their meeting.

(Sorry I've been gone. Comcast messed our internet up for almost four/three days. It's felt like forever...)
"Geez, you can't go anywhere in this city anymore without being stopped by a guard or whatever they've chosen to call themselves these days. They didn't even see me cutting those wires, they just thought I looked out of place. What idiots..." Ray mumbled as he strode down the street, taking large steps as he went. Being fairly tall, this got him places quickly enough, but not fast enough not to be late this time. He casually walked into the coffee shop, and flashed a quick smile at the familiar faces working the hangout, and they returned it, since he had been a regular there even when the rebels weren't meeting there. He practically jumped halfway across the room and landed in a chair that was in clear view of the others, which was next to Carsys. Running his hand through his long silver hair, he gave a small laugh and said "Sorry for being so late. Some police gave me a hard time because I looked a little like the 'description' of a rebel they've received sketches of. Luckily I was in a lot of costume at the time, they're looking for a black-haired scruffy-bearded 40-year-old man with a large scar on his cheek. All they got right was the ears. Now, onto business. First order, has anyone heard from Aki recently? I know she's been quite snug in her job, I just haven't spoken to her in a while. Second matter, I believe we've been searching for a few good public or political events recently. I've managed to crash a few meetings recently, but I haven't been able to get any good classified info on important meetings. As for public events, there is going to be a nice protest at the park near here in about two hours, and the crowd's gonna get riley. Know what that means? The police are gonna go on crowd control, and we're gonna make it hard for them, or try and catch them doing something cruel for public support. I realize not everyone is here, but let's do what we can with who's here.". As he spoke, his eyes were closed, and he tried to identify everyone who was there by scent, as he relayed the names in his head. Carsys, Amnity, Terra, Aiva...

Amnity's eyes twitched as Ray sat dangerously close to Carsys, but managed to calm herself down. When she heard that Ray wanted them to make it hard for the police to keep the crowd under control a sinister smile slowly crawled across her face. "When you say 'make it hard for them', does that include...I don't know...Heavy artillery?...A few tons of pure C4 stuck to the police's uniform?...A sudden cataclysm of bullets fired at the officers?" the soldier suggested innocently, hoping that he would allow her to blow up something just this one time.
