Mangoberry walked Fernpelt back to the camp. Under questioning eyes he led her to the nursery and fetched the medicine cat. As he predicted some were assuming the coming kits where sired by him.
Once he was sure Fernpelt was comfortable he stalked out of the camp. Eyes not concentrating on anything or anyone around him.
His sister Rumbleteaser's fur fluffed as he passed her. She knew that look in his eyes and it meant nothing but trouble. Rumbleteaser new the truth those kits were not his. She moved quickly into the nursery and once the medicine cat left she approached Fernpelt. "What's going on? My brother had his determined stare when he left the camp. Are you alright? And why is Mangoberry telling everyone that the kits were sired by him?" She whispered everything quickly she had no way of knowing Fernpelt was already upset.
Mangoberry moved like he was hunting as he approached the River. He was in luck his prey was still there. But why was he still there? For a moment he questioned what he was doing, but it didn't take long for his tom logic took over. Mangoberry took the long way around, crossing the stepping stones silently. Stalking Fireheart like he was as simple as a mouse, he moved closer and closer. Till with a roar of rage he flew from the reeds towards Fireheart, his claws out stretched looking to tear flesh from the tom.

Fernpelt slowly situated herself in the nursery she didn't notice Rumbleteaser's appearance for awhile. She gazed up at the she-cat and slowly mewed, "Mangoberry is just covering for me because I was foolish enough to love a ThunderClan cat."
She wanted to tell Rumbleteaser more but she knew that the she-cat would never understand what she felt about Fireheart, Mangoberry, the kits, and everything else that was bound to go wrong. She wished that she could just die and go to StarClan that way all the pain and suffering would go away. Moments passed before Fernpelt remember that moment by the lake when Mangoberry had confessed to Fireheart about his feelings for Fernpelt, she knew that he would suffer if she died and she couldn't bear to handle the fact that she caused his pain and misery. No, I have to be strong, for the kits...

"Covering? Makes sense I suppose. Mangoberry told me about Fireheart. We are twins remember? Someone had to pick up his pieces after you chose the Thunderclan tom." Rumbleteaser smiled to the other she-cat to let her know she understood and did not judge her for her choice.
"But that's not what I'm talking about." Rumbleteaser looked serious now. "He left camp after you were settled. The look in his eyes made me fluff. What has happened?" Rumbleteaser was a bit worried about the whole thing.

"He was talking about... Oh no!" Fernpelt let out a yowl of shock she knew what Mangoberry was going to do now. "We have to hurry to Sunningrocks!" She exclaimed.

"Your not going anywhere Fernpelt. Just tell me what is happening and I'll take care of it alright." Rumbleteaser said calmly, Mangoberry could hold his own what ever was happening, but Rumbleteaser could not let Fernpelt leave, nor could Rumble run into something with out knowing all the details.

Fernpelt tried to stay calm as she realized what he was going to do. "When I told him what happened with Fireheart he got really mad and he said he was going to go hungy. But I think he's going to have a fight with Fireheart."

Fireheart had sensed the presense of another cat in the area, despite his desperate attempts to numb himself to everything. It didn't register to him who it was but he was already alert to the fact that they were now coming up behind him, and they still hadn't said anything so that made him sure that they weren't here to chat. Just as Mangoberry yowled Fireheart leapt up, out of the water, and landed off to the side. Turning quickly he hissed in anger. Mangoberry.... Fernpelt must have told him everything... he thought before retreating to solid ground where he could fight better. "What's wrong with you? Get out of Thunderclan territory! Now!" he snarled as his tail lashed behind him.

Mangoberry landed lightly on his paws and did not pause in his attack. Whipping around he swung his claws at Fireheart's face. Mangoberry hissed and snarled, his eyes glowing with the lust for the fight. "What's wrong with me?!! You lustful fox dung of a traitorous kittypet!!! I'll kill you for what you've done to her!!!" He yowled whipping his tail in fury.
Rumbleteaser seemed to think for a moment. "I don't think we should interfere Fernpelt. If we stop my brother he will just look for the fight another day....he is stubborn like that, you know. It will be ok, Mangoberry is strong then he looks and we all know Fireheart can hold his own. Besides Starclan will stop it if its not meant to happen." Rumbleteaser nodded trying to stay calm herself.

Fireheart jumped back but felt Mangoberry's claws scrape across his nose. He yowled in anger and lunged at the other cat, claws unsheathed and ears pinned back. He aimed for the other toms eyes as he swatted madly at his attacker. "What I've done to her?... You mousebrain! She'll be fine in a few moons, she won't even remember me!" he snarled, still having no idea that Fernpelt was pregnant with his kits.

Fireheart missed his eyes, but scrapped his cheek. He roared again after hearing Fireheart's words. Half forgetting that the other tom did not know Fernpelt was to be kitting soon.
Mangoberry threw himself down and backed away from Fireheart. He tried to circle him, looking for an open spot, a chance to pin Fireheart to the ground perhaps.
"You're the mousebrain here!! You mangy hound calling yourself a clan cat!! You've given her plenty to remember you by!!! As you play around with what ever Thunderclan slut.....wait slut in general could be from any clan maybe a loner or rouge your not picky are you? You sick rat! Poor Fernpelt who loved you gave her your heart! You fooled her and myself with your lies of love! Love ha!! You know nothing of love!! Fernpelt is about to have your kits and you kick her into the Thunderpath!! I'll kill you for hurting her!! I'll kill you for tricking her!! I'll kill you for taking her heart from me in the first place!!!"

Fireheart, turned with Mangoberry, not giving the other tom the chance to catch him unaware. When Mangoberry started yelling at him he hissed and then stopped abrubtly. Kits?! KITS?!?!?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE YOU FOOL! he screamed at himself. Suddenly the fight with Mangoberry didn't seem that important. He couldn't leave Fernpelt when she needed him! It didn't matter how he felt about Gypsy, Fernpelt had been his first love and he had to care for her no matter his feelings for another she-cat. He bolted towards the river, trying to get past Mangoberry.

Mangoberry made a leap at Fireheart as an opening was given. His claws trying to rake his back while his teeth tried to find hold on his neck. "Where do you think your going?!!!" He yowled as he attacked. There was no way he was going to let Fireheart go, specially not towards the river.
Thunderclaw was hunting his path being drawn ever closer to the river. His ears twitched as a yowl just reached his ears. Dashing through the woods his heart pounding he followed the sound. As he got closer he could smell a Riverclan cat to to far and defiantly in Thunderclan territory. He let out a war cry calling to all Thunderclan cats in the area he figured a fight over Sunning rocks was happening with no warning what so ever.

Fireheart hissed and spat as Mangoberry's claws ripped into his back, he felt blood swelling and spilling over onto his pelt but he couldn't stop to check the damage. Whirling around on himself he lashed out at Mangoberry, claws extended and fangs at the ready to make contact with any part of Mangoberry that got in the way. "I'm going to see Fernpelt now get out of my way!" he roared.
Cloudpelt couldn't hear the yowl herself but she'd been with ShadowDream by the river and when he became alert and started heading towards Sunningrocks she'd been right on his heels. Something was going down over there and she was definately going to be part of it. She was walking side by side with ShadowDream as they reached the area where Fireheart and Mangoberry were trying to tear eachother apart.
(Guys, Leth says she'll have ShadowDream come too... for the patrol
@Leth: I sorta drug ShadowDream over here with Cloudpelt, hope ya dun mind sweatdrop )

If not, then just ignore this post.))Frostpaw had been exploring the forest on her own when she heard the yowl. Fast as her young paws would take her, she rocketed off in that direction. Sure, she might get in trouble for leaving the camp alone, but right now her clan needed her.
Soon Fireheart and Mangoberry came into view.

Feathersong streched and with a yawn he adventured out of camp. He was stalking a water vole when he hear battle screeches. What's going on? He thought to himself and ran to see Mangoberry and Fireheart tearing eachother apart.
