Is she afraid of being alone? Because that's a good indicator of what type of shape a poltergeist may take. And yes poltergeist can take the shape of people and objects.

oh, ok, thanks xD
She isn't afraid of being alone as much as she is afraid of opening up to someone, and then loosing them. Which has happened to both of us multiple times, we just couldn't handle it if it happened again.

I've had two ghost experiences and one I'm not sure if it even is considered a ghost.
On 10/22/07: I have this written down in my dream diary. Anyway, I woke up suddenly from a dream but it wasn't with a jolt. It felt as if I was naturally waking up, someone was sitting on my bed petting my cat. My first thought was that it was my mom, but this person was wearing a jean jacket and had short curly gray hair. I somehow sensed this sprit was a female. I cleared my throat, I couldn't speak. The woman stood and walked to my window and as she walked her form slowly disappeared until she was just a green-ish shape of a human before completly fading from view.
Anyone know who or what she could have been? I haven't see her since. Yes, I was wide awake. I looked at my clock and was 3:45am.
Then on 11/04/07 I felt a pressure on my chest, like someone was holding me down onto my bed as a slept. I quickly chanted healing prayers, trying to clense the area you know? Then it went away and behind my eyelids I saw Brown eyes and the letter 'C'. Weird, I know. I opened my eyes and said "You are a child of god, you are healed, no longer bound to this world." I didn't write down the time on the clock but I was wide awake. The pressure never returned.
Anyone have any ideas? :/ These things still boggle my mind.

Nothing has happened to me personally, but my mum has had some experiences. Once when she was little and her gran, who was living with them, died. She used to come into my mum's room and sit on the end of the bed in the night and carried on doing so after she'd past away. Also at the old cottage mum and I used to live in, she told me that she'd been napping on the sofa and our cat, Molly, started clawing at the sofa and meowing. She went away eventually but when mum got up Molly was at the door outside and all the windows were shut.

This "You are a child of god, you are healed, no longer bound to this world." Is often a phrase( is varies quiet a bit) used in releasing spirits from being bound to earth. ^ ^ So you might have released the spirit from it's connection to this earth, or you've silenced it for a while. I would try to find out who the woman is,and why she's their.

Hmmm.. stories....
In high school, I had a Siamese that slept in my room with me. He'd curl up at the foot of my bed. About the time I started meditating, I would get woken up in the night by him growling. One night, he woke me up because he was growling and hissing, and he was up on my chest. I remember seeing a red flash in the diagonal corner of my room from where I was, up where the walls meet the ceiling, and that was where he was growling at when I flipped on the lights. He slept on my chest that night, refusing to get off me. I had to smudge the room the next morning. We had a few repeats, but after I moved out they seemed to stop.
In college I lived in a rental house with three of my friends. It was an older house, built in like the 1800s or something, that had been fixed up and redone. We always knew there was something not quite right with the house from the moment we moved in. I have to set this up a little. You walk in the door, and you're in a foyer. To the left was the living room, and study area... one giant room divided in half by a ceiling beam. To the right was the dinging room and kitchen, and ahead was the staircase that lead up to the second floor. One of the guys would sometimes see a reflection of someone standing in the study room if he was standing in the living room looking out the double glass doors. We tested this, and yes... there was a reflection of someone behind us, but they would look up, see us watching, and move off toward the back of the room. Another guy heard voices in his closet. My brother had his cats in his room, and they would freak out every night at the same time and hiss at the closet in his room if it was left open. Then there was the staircase of death... Every person who went up the staircase, fell coming down. One guy slipped halfway down, and twisted his ankle. Another fell going up the staircase. I almost died... I was coming down the staircase to the first level, and somehow missed the last two steps. Don't ask me how, I just did. Now, I pitched forward, and I should have hit my head on the banister thingy that jutted out from the wall... in fact I should have cracked my temple on it given the angle I came down at. But as I fell, something shoved me to the right (and I say this because I was shoved, and no one there shoved me, but everyone saw me change directions), and I landed in the center of the foyer. mucked up my wrist and knee really good, but it could have been a whole lot worse.
I also have a ton of phantom smell stories, like smelling cigarette smoke here at the house when neither I nor my hubby smokes... When I was in high school I used to get phantom smells of my first boyfriend's cologne, and no one I've know since has ever worn it... Just weird things like that.

Hello everyone. Im new to this guild, so I didnt know really where to post this. Thanks to dark_angel_32189, I now know where I can post this. Now, I was hoping someone could help with a small...issue. I have been a Wiccan for a few months now, but have not been able to practice, thanks to my Christian Parents D: So, I am asking for help on this matter. How do you find out what is wrong with a spirit? Like, why they are doing certain things?
The reason being is that my friend, Jin-May, is having a spirit issue, and we don't know why. In the beginning, he was a mischevious boy. He only stole and hid some things, but thats about it. Now he is hurting her and trying to kill her...and we cannot figure out as to why. If anyone can help with this, then please do....This is becoming very dangerous...and getting out of hand... Normally I am great with spirits, but I cannot deal with him since I am not there with her. I will be forever greatful to anyone who may help...

i got a good one,i think.
my bedroom use to be inhabited my a woman, and where my bed rest is where her bed rested. For the past year and a half we have lived here, when ever i would leave the window open, the door or the window would make noise. the door would open itself, the window would close, or my closet door would open. rarely, things would move, my guitar would be out of the stand and in my chair and my keyboard in the guitar stand. i think is just the wind and the spirit hates it, but recently my windows have been open every night. When ever that happens, the window slams itself shut at about 2 every morning. Is it a spirit or a poltergeist?

From what I know those things are a alot worse then a few misplaced items and a slamming window. you never really know though. Best of luck~ -Jin-May

Hmm, poltergeist aren't always caused by living humans. Have you heard foot steps, tapping such as a child tapping on a wall, knocking like that of a knock on the door. These are good indicators. Another indicator if the objects moved are warm then it is human interference. If they are cold, much like ice then it was an actual "poltergeist" or nosy ghost.

My mother claims that my father and I are crazy, but she too has been witness to the many 'odd' activities that take place in my home. Note that no one in my house has been harmed and I doubt that they will be, I believe it is just a bunch of pent up ( negitive ) energy left from years before and added to by our stay in this home.
Some of the ocurances include:
-Crashing/nothing broken -Talking -nothing on, in the middle of dinner and late at night -The sudden disappearance and reappearance of my belongings - things I haven't used in a while randomly appear where they weren't placed -Random cold spots
That is what I can remember at the moment I must say it is rather annoying when I am trying to find something It is not just the fact that I misplaced the item The item was moved My parents/sisters do not enter my room So its pretty much empty.
As for the talking I am used to it by now. When I was little I listened to it before I feel asleep. Now my parents finally believe that I am not crazy. My dad gets really into watching all of the ghost hunting shows one tv. I have to say I love watching them but he can get out of hand . . .
We have been awaken many times to loud crashing nosies with no scene of a crash/accident at all
Cold spots happen. I love how the television programs explain them XD
There is nothing wrong with these things, though I haven't 'seen' anything I know its there and I embrace the fact that it was once there home too. I would be sad to see them/ he/she/it go, but if I could help them it would be even better

sure ive seen a ghost B4, but who hasn't. I see them as blures of faded light, or orbs. I see them every once and a while, most recent was near my computer late one night. It just floated tehre, hanging. They did creap me out at first, so did shadow people, but they dont seem to harm me. I almost feel calm around them, again ghosts not shadow people. So i enjoy their company. I have tried to talk to them, but they dont seem to talk back, just make me feel things, if that makes sence. I dont know what else to day, or anything about exorcisums, since i dont mind them, y would i hurt them? Srry, im not much help...^_^

I do not even know where to start on my experiences. The house I grew up in was seriously haunted. Lights turning on and off, doors opening and closing, things moving, figures moving, forces pushing me, the works. I was always afraid. A few years after moving out I was taught about witchcraft from my grandma, later on I found Wicca. I dedicated a lot of time to find out how to deal with spirts and house cleansing. When I lived in Road Island I helpped many people there and even worked with a few paranormal groups as a psychic. I still try to help as many people as I can where I am now but I know less people. I have seen a lot of things and continue to learn as much as I can about anything I can get my hands on. I have recently helped my girlfriend with a serious spirt/demon/I do not really know what to call it.

Hm I have had some experiences admittedly.
I remember walking through this old graveyard once with a friend. We had taken her car and we just walking about looking for an old plot my family had. It was growing dark and we couldn't find it so we thought (after many creepy feelings of being watched) that we'd leave and come back the following day. Anyway! There is exactly one way in and out of that graveyard and when we went there, the car wasn't there! We had to walk row after row of graves, looking for the car (which lets face it, you can't exactly hide a car you've parked in the center of the cemetery) and it took us almost twenty minutes to find it.
A week later when we went back, we had realized something strange goes on in that cemetery so we brought a recorder along with us to pick up EVP's, in case there were any. We were walking back to the car at about 6 or 7ish in the evening, dead middle of summer on a path and something came along and shoved me. I fell backwards two or three feet and had a huge hand print on my chest.
Later when we got home, we noted the constant whispers in the cemetery and then, just as something pushed me a growled "GET OUT!!"
And..those are two of my stories. I have more if anyone's interested. ^_^

In regards to methods, I've always found that a good sage smudging is in order whenever you move into a new room or a new house. All you need is a smudge stick (can be found in any New Age store, or make you own. PM me and I'll tell you how) and something to move the smoke around with. Light the stick and pass the smoke over every corner of the room. This means every cabinet, closet, drawer, and every nook n' cranny. Once this is done, meditate in the middle of the room, and picture all negative energy to be gathering in front of you. Once you have this image, use the remaining smoke to banish this energy, saying something along the lines of, "No negative energy shall be welcome or present here. As I will it so mote it be."
I consider this to be a step of first action. If you had any bad ghosties hanging out, they were pushed away. If you had any nice spirits around, they will continue to be nice and you should be able to coexist well.
