Gerard went over to the door after picking up the handgun on the dresser, and tried the knob.
"What? Locked...damn." Gerard pulled out his knife, and looked at the lock.
"Electronically shut. This is going to be annoying."
Gerard sheathed his knife in the pocket on the back of his belt, and stood several feet from the door. He then stepped forward and kicked it, cracking the wood. He did this once more, making a splintered hole in the door. He roughly moved it aside; the only part left of the door was the steel frame and the mechanical system near the knob that kept the lock still intact. He climbed through the hole, and out into the dark hallway. The electricity was still off.

Lutz was flicking through the security channel and noticed they had security camera's. He then flicked through them, he eventually came across one of a man climbing through a door. He sighed and looked to see where it was, "Quarters hall, 5." Lutz said to him self. He remembered that and locked any door leading out of that hall, mainly the gates at the stairways. He now had this guy trapped like a rat. Or so he thought.

Gerard walked down the dark hall, looking for a door that wasn't labeled as a bedroom number. The rooms were somewhat small; they were for ship crew, not luxury passengers.
He heard a beeping noise, and a clicking sound. He saw, at the end of the hall, a red wooden door with a light on the electronic panel with the knob; the light turned from green to red. He was locked in again.
"F*ck this, what is going on!"
Gerard ran at full speed toward the door, his shoulders braced for impact. However, it didn't matter how hard he was braced; the door was considerably thicker and sturdier than the bedroom doors.
"This is ridiculous. I have to find a way out!"
He turned around, and made a left down another hall. He saw an old-fashioned elevator with the metal grating door in the wall. He checked the shaft; he was pretty deep in the hull of the ship, and the elevator was not on his floor. The lift was locked up anyway.
"Damnit..."

Lutz noticed that the man was obviously trapped. He then smiled and thought to himself, "Damn man, this is going to be a cake walk!" Lutz then got out of his seat and looked over the water with a pair of night vision binoculars, just to see if there really was anything to see. Lutz then noticed a small area of land possibly a 100 miles away. He sighed and sat back into his seat, periodically checking to see if his gun was loaded.

Gerard went further down the elevator hall, and opened a broom closet.
"Apparently this doesn't have a lock system. Hmm."
Gerard looked around for anything of use. He checked the ceiling: a vent was built in the ceiling, the grating loose.
"Easy. These are just so convenient."
Gerard climbed up on the storage boxes to reach the vent, and removed the grating with his knife. He climbed in, just barely being able to squeeze in. He crawled for a few yards before coming to another grating. It was above him, leading to a higher floor. He removed the tighter grating with his knife, and climbed out. the areas was a main hall, a large staircase with two other staircases leading around a small balcony in the center. He saw a set of double doors at the beginning of the hall, and went over and tried them.
"Damnit, locked too. These seem to lead to a main exit. But I suppose that would be useless unless we were docked.

Gerard turned around and made a left, going down a hall that led to the main restrooms.
"This is going ot be a long night. Wherever I am, someone doesn't want me to get out."
Gerard went into the mens' restroom, checking for anything of use. Nothing. He checked the woman's bathroom; nothing.
He went back to the main stairway-room, and started walking up the stairs.

Lutz still sat in the captains seat. He was constantly monitoring the security cameras, he then came across something. It was the man he had just saw in the screw's cabins hallway. He sighed, and checked to see if there were any other gate or lockable doors along his way. There was one, at the top of the stairs. He quickly hit it to close and lock. He hoped it would finish doing this before he got to the top of the stairway.

Jake looked around. The ocean was vast before him. The ship in front of him was the only thing in sight. As he drove along side it he found a ladder. At least he managed to get that down. He thought. His buddy on the ship hadn't given him any word since they departed, but at least managed to drop down the ladder for his arrival. He began to climb. When he made it to the top he looked over the rail to make sure no one was moving around.

Gerard heard a sound behind him, and turned around. The double doors weren't locked, but a silver barred gate moved quickly to shut and close.
"What?!"
Gerard sped toward, and jumped-rolled under the closing gate. It shut behind with a clash, and the lock activated with a distinct click. He got to his feet, and looked at the dark corridor ahead of him.
"Come on."

Lutz didn't know if the man made it through the gate or not. He assumed the best happened and he let him be for now. He then noticed all the electricity was shut off almost on the entire ship, he couldn't see anything outside. So he flipped the power switches and activated all the electricity on board the ship. The whole outer deck lit up like a Christmas tree and did the guts of the ship. He then pulled up the captains binoculars and scanned the deck to see if there was anyone moving around out there.
