November laughed. "Yes, you most certainly are!" She nuzzled him happily. "I can't wait to see them grow up. I want to see if any of them inheirited their daddy's colors." November said, smiling. "It's hard to believe that we're parents, even now. I didn't think we'd be having children so soon." November had expected at least a year to pass before they became parents, as she felt like she wanted some more time to enjoy being with her mate. But, she reasoned, she would still have time for him...just a bit less time. The children would require most of her attention, and she was happy with that fact.

Spotty was over joyed by the basket's arrival. All fear or nervousness melted away when he looked at them. Being a parent would be a challenge. But if was a challenge to everyone at first. Spotty was convinced that November and himself would do fine. Love was all they needed, and they sure had enough of it!
"They'll be my little pumpkin pie babies," he smiled before nuzzling November, "just like you are my pumpkin pie."
Even though they were still a new couple, Spotty knew they were ready for the baskets. He was prepared for the road ahead and, with November by his side, nothing could go wrong.
