Taking a few steps back to clear some space between them, Dragonfly stomped his hooves. "If you continue I'll only deal out worse...I suggest you leave now. Come back when your less wet behind the ears."
The older stallion had no time for this 'foals' silly games. He was giving him a chance to get away. And if the stallion wanted to try another day, fine. Whatever. But unless Ramus got stronger he'd never win.
Of course, Dragonfly never did expect Ramus to even try again after this. So he had no worries about loosing Dafina. Though still....the young stallion did put a sliver or doubt into his mind. Way in the back.
"Leave before I beat your skull in, you hear me?" His ears pinned back as he readied himself for another charge. Hooves digging into the dirt in front of him as red eyes glared.

Ramus bared his teeth and pinned his ears back as he finaly turned to face Dragonfly as dragonfly had put some space between them. " sorry but i think you might have to beat my skull in i often told im too hotheaded and headstrong for my own good at times." he then smirked at the older stallion. " besides i did make a promise and i would look stupid if i didnt keep it." pawing at the ground he went charging in again dispit knowing full well he more than likey wouldnt get off as easy as last time.

The stallion rolled his eyes lightly. Well, what Ramus said was pretty clear and true. He just didn't know when to give up.
So Dragonfly would make him say uncle.
As he charged, Dragonfly waited. Standing still as a statue watching Ramus with such great intensity that small wrinkles started to form in the corners of his eyes.
Everything seemed to slow down now. As if time itself was having a hard time going forward.

ramus didnt care if the older stallion moved or not cause if he didnt he would plow him down this is if he could. he was not about to play chickin as it was all or nothing now. contiuning on his path, he was about to find out if he was able to win or not.

Dragonfly jumped forward, grasping a piece of Ramus' mane in his teeth. With one quick jerk of his head, he pulled downward in an attempt to drag the young stallion to the ground. His hooves dug deep into the soil as he braced himself. Pulling down another Soquili was never an easy task.

growling he tryed to grab hold of dragonflys mane as he was jurked down rather hard that made him off balance. tryign to stay on his feet, if he was gonan go down he was gonna take him down with him.

He continued to dig his hooves into the ground. Leaning his body to the side to give him a bit more leverage. Lifting up one knee, he tried to maneuver himself to get that knee up on Ramus' neck or shoulder. Once that happened he would put all his weight into it and drive the young stallion down.
Even if Ramus could bring him down, Dragonfly would come down on top of him like a falling tree. And the end result would not be pretty.

rrealizing he was goign to get smashed if Dragonfly did come down withh him he let go of the mane. he faught to keep himself from being pushed to the ground but once the had pressure on his shoulder he was forced to the ground. breathig heavey he didnt know what would happen next.

He kept his knee on Ramus' shoulder. Feeling him hit the ground, he drove his knee into the other's shoulder. Putting as much of his weight behind it.
Even if this kid walked away, he wouldn't be walking away normally. He'd break his shoulder if he had to. "Give up now before your shoulder does."

Ramus clinched his teeth at th pain that was beign caused to his shoulder adn dragonfly's knee was diging right into it. ears pinned back in pain he tryed not to show too much of it as he tryed to keep his pride. " lets see what breaks first." was all he managed to spat out in responce as he now attempted to get out of the situation of havign his shoulder broken.

Adding more pressure to Ramus' shoulder with his knee, Dragonfly let a small smirk slip onto his dark lips. Curling up the one corner just slightly. "All my bets are on you. What good are you with a broken shoulder? Do you really think you'd stand any chance a third time against me, if there is a third time, when your lame? I think not."
The stallion's braided tail snapped back and forth. He was not at all against breaking the young stallions shoulder if thats what he wanted. He'd prove to Ramus that he was not messing around.

Ramus stopped movign the minute more pressure was aplyed to his shoulder. he was just about at his breaking point as the pain was geting worse in his shoulder. there was only so much he could handle before he would have to give in. ofcourse it had been clear before that there was no messing around. teeth clinched still and ears back, he spat out his words in anger. " Fine you win again." Dragonfly was right that he would be no use lame and wouldnt beable to even really fight then.

Dragonfly stepped back. Taking his knee away from Ramus' shoulder and letting him lay there. Bright red eyes staring down at him like poison tipped daggers.
His tail snapped back and forth before he gave a disgusted snort. "Typical. Your not even good enough for her. I'll say this one last time.... Forget about her and go on with your life. I won't be responsible for you loosing your life if you try again."
The older stallion turned quickly on his heels, casting one last glance to the young stallion. "Good try though. It at least gave me a bit of amusement." As he spoke those last words he took off like a shot. Hooves pounding into the earth as he raced back to his herd. He had been gone too long and needed to return. Who knew what kind of chaos could have broken out.

Ramus wasnt about to be stupid enough to get a perminate injury such as his shoulder beign broken and having the chance to get a perminate limp. cursing under his breath as dragonfly left, heh was more deturmind to show he was just a stupid fool adn that he was stong enough to take him. atlest this time he had been able to last longer in the fight. growlign as he got up he slowly went the opposit way for now to recover from the pain in his shoulder.
