"It's nice to know your personality's still intact!" Alex snapped back as he ran though what seemed to be unending darkness. Damn it, he was trying to help her! And after that he was going to strangle her for being up here in the first place. What was she thinking getting hurt? She didn't even have a good excuse! With that fire she was always throwing at him she should have been able to watch where she was going...

Takako smirked. "Nice to you care smoker boy." She laughed. Okay so she couldn't help but think he was cuter when he cared...even if he was a jerk before.

Alex stumbled. He cared? Well of course he cared! Why the hell else would he be running through a dark cave to get to her!
"Careful," Seraphina muttered somehow moving along side him, helping him catch his balance. "Dimitri, we're running blind here. How about some light?"

Dimitri did as she bid and created a warm little fire which illuminated the cave's inside. The light surrounded Takako and Dimitri in dancing shadows.

"There they are," Seraphina said but Alex was already gone. With the light to help him with his footing, the older pony had already covered half the distance between the two parties. "Thanks..." Seraphina muttered, running after him. "Nice to know where I stand."

Takako blinked and tried moving but winced and gave up. Her ankle was too sprained to move.
Dimitri stood still. "You two decided to cave explore too huh?"

"Alex's bright idea..." Seraphina muttered stopping behind the other pony.
"Hey, little firefly," Alex knelt down beside Takako on the cave floor. "You doing ok?"

"What happened to hornhead?" She asked, blinking at Alex. "I'm alright...Foot's swelling due to being sprained badly, pain's annoying but otherwise I'm good."
Dimitri nodded. He couldn't exactly reprimand the boy...it was his idea to go cave exploring too...takako just decided to follow.

"Very few times and usually on someone else, rather then myself." She didn't like it when he called her horn head but it was just a little unusual for her to hear him not say it.

Seraphina frowned. Who was this pony? And what had he done with the obnoxious, idiotic, self-centered pony she'd grown up with?

Dimitri came near Seraphina but didn't touch her, giving her space. "You look surprised...." He murmured softly.
Takako gave a little smile. "Yea but then I never pictured myself in a cave with icky things crawling over your feet and stumbling in the dark."

"I guess..." she said quietly not wanting to disturb the strange happenings between Takako and Alex. When did this happen?
"Come on, Takako," Alex encouraged her. "Give it a try, what could it hurt? You heal your foot and we can get out of the creep cave."

"Then do what?" She asked.
Dimitri smiled softly. "It happened when she was little still....at least that's where it started. She's always loved him, Seraphina, but she would never admit it to anyone." He too was quiet.

"I'll let you decide that," Alex told her. "Hell, you can even fry me if that'll make you feel better." He would do anything to get rid of her pain, to make her smile again. Man, when did he get so soft?
"You're doing that thing again," Seraphina whispered back.
