Crawly froze as he watched the shadow Sentinel he feared ever so swoop over them. He did have to admit he was slightly amused with Winters antics, and had he not been terrified half to death himself; he would have taken full advantage of the situation. He jumped back as the adult landed by the fellow Fledgling, and was about to make a great escape when he too became trapped.
Ah what the heck, he thought, once again puffing up in defense. If I'm going to die; I better have fun with it.. With that he shifted his head towards winter. "I heard she makes a mask of you before you're eaten," he whispered. "And she hangs them up like trophies."
Crawley immediately shut up as soon as Ename began to speak. Why did everyone call him that? He seemed to believe they were rather manly. With an offended grunt, he managed to puff up further.

Winter stopped an stared at Crawly. "A a a mask?? Did she make one of you? If so then she gonna eat you first!!!" She looked up at Ename. "Please don't eat me!!" She pleaded with Ename. "I'm to young to die!! Eat him!!" She pointed a wing at Crawly. "I bet he is much more tasty then me!!"

Ename watched the squabbling pair a moment, then flared her wings wide, setting her head to spinning this way and that. "ENOUGH!" She hissed, obviously not liking the noise at all. Her talons were gouging at her perch, an obvious sign of anger. "Sssshut your little beakssss, the both of youuu..." She continued, "Or I'll usssse your real facccessss for masssksss..." With a flap of her wing she shooed Crawly back to sit beside Winter. With the pair gathered, she looked back and forth from them. "What do the little onesss want, I wonder...Did they come to ssssee Ename? To ssssee her massskssss? Or maybe ssssomething elsssse...?"

Winter shut up quickly then starred at Ename. Maybe she did not wanna eat them. She opened her beak to say something then shut it again. She peered over at Crawly then back at Ename. "Masks?? Why do you have masks?" She quickly shut her beak again.

"WHAAAT?" Crawly turned around, surprised by Winters words. "Pfffft, everyone knows Mists taste better."
Them as masks? Crawly had only been teasing Winter; he hadn't actually believed that the shadow Sentinel was possible of such. Sure, Ename was scary…perhaps evil…but he had always though she enjoyed torturing him…never did he ever consider that she'd actually eat them. His cynical peeping stopped, and he scrambled up to Winter…despite being totally sold out by the fellow Fledgling.
"Ahhh…" He paused unsure what to say, before stepping back slightly behind the mist. "I've…I've come to offer the um…great maskmaker a sacrifice…yess…a sacrifice…this one." He attempted to push Winter forward with his wings.

...Well. That showed what the current generation thought of her. Ename had to say she was amused. She looked from one bird to the next for a few moments, then threw her head back and laughed. What amusing young ones! They had fallen for her threat utterly, she could tell.
"Really now...then what made this little one agree to be your sacrifice, Eyebrows?" The hissing was gone from her voice when she stopped laughing, but it was still quite hoarse and rattly.

Winter stumbled forward. "I don't wanna be a sacrifice!!" She ruffled up her feathers in defense. "An I don't wanna be anybody's lunch." She peered up the much larger Sentinel. She looked Ename up an down. "You are really creepy you know that??" This was one of her elders but this Sentinel was cracked in the head or something. And her laugh had just made her much more creepy.

"Shhhhhhhh!" Crawly squeaked, shuffling away slightly from Winter, unsure which one he should be more weary of at that moment.
He watched slightly amused for a second, trying to absorb this adult…understand her for a second rather than using his big mouth. He cocked his head to the side watching her, his thoughts all the sudden interrupted by the mist's comment. Oh we're screwed now. his mind grumbled, causing him to shake his head in a sad attempt to scare these thoughts. Sighing he decided to take a different approach.
"I don't think you're creepy," he added to Winter's statement. "More reason why you should eat her first."

Ename laughed again. They really thought she would eat them! She hadn't planned on it, but if they kept insisting...No, she chuckled to herself...but if they wanted her to act like she would eat them, maybe she would act that way...
"Think I'm creepy, think I'm not creepy.." She hopped around the little fledgies, flaring her wings and rattling her beak against her mask. "Tasty mist or robust ghost, a choice on which I'd like the most!" She ended on a screech, toppling off the branch and falling towards the ground, at the last moment pulling up to soar back overhead of the pair. As she circled, she noted a small rock near Crawly's foot. With a cackle she willed it to move, curving on the wood before them the face of a screaming Sentinel, and from it's mouth the word 'RUN'.

Winter stared at Ename she was a bit scared by the elder Sentinel. "I would prefer you not eat me. He on the other hand would love for you to eat him!! Thats all he ever talks about. I would love for that creepy Sentinel who we dunno their name to eat me!!" She peered at the face on the wood then laughed. She pointed a wing at the face. "Thats not scary. But you on the other hand you are creepy. Who are you any ways??" She asked starting to get a little bit of nerve in her spine. She was starting to think the other fledging was raither stupid and cowardly.

Crawly continued to watch the adult shadow with sheer fear. Perhaps it was his history with this creature, or maybe even simply out of selfish needs; this Fledgling was not in the mood to be a hero. He watched with terror as the words emerged upon the wood, and with even more as Winter began to stand up. Well maybe she was willing to risk her life…but he; having no safety net of a caring keeper; was not in the mood to become dinner. He would just leave that to Winter...
"Are you CRAZY?" The young ghost chittered towards his fellow fledgling. "She just said she will eat you." With that he climbed forward, mumbling something about eating the crazy reliant one, and leaving him alone, before wobbling off onto another branch…in pretty much the closest thing a young flightless fledgling could get to as a run…despite looking completely ridiculous.

Ename sighed, high high above. Stupid little mist. If she kept it up, she really was going to havre to eat her. Ename was never one to let herself be called a liar. Oh but look...the Eyebros seemed to have some sense...but what was this? He was...running away? As in not flying? How could a fledgeling this old not be able to fly? That was utterly rediculous. With a screech of...fury? Humor? Indigestion? Something...she rolled in the air, diving low...and knocking Crawly out into the open air beyond the branch. "Fly Eyebrows, or fall to your death!" She laughed, circling the plummeting male.

The shriek tore into the Fledgling as if they were talons ripping into his spine. He squabbled a response…to terrified to even make words. Why him? He hadn't done anything…oh wait. Well that wasn't the point; bullies are supposed to carry a mutual respect..? If not at least not murder each other. Why didn't she at least pick on Winter first?
Crawly wobbled as quickly as he could…although it was still a sad attempt. It was something in the comparison to a old turtle running from a hungry feline, or a goldfish trapped by a swarm of piranhas. He shrieked as he was pushed; short stubby wings almost grasping feebly at all that passed. In a sad attempt he flapped, trying to gain some air, however only momentarily slowing his decent. Was this it? Was he going to die?
"Dumbasses!!" He screamed at them both, deciding that if they were to be his last words, he should make them great…well great to him at least.

Winter watched Ename as she grabbed Crawly and threw him over. She looked quite puzzled at Crawly. Why wasn't the moron flying away and why was he not flapping his wings?? "Flap your wings!! If you don't your gonna hit the ground." She looked up at Ename. "Did you know he can't fly?"

Ename threw a look at Winter and hissed. "Of coursssse we knew! But flightlessss Ssssentinelsss are good for naught...better we find out now, and ssssave the trouble..." With another screech she flapped after Crawly, swooping under him and catching him on her back. Upwards she flew, lifting the little bird back up to the branch...and then she ducked out from under him, dropping him again. "Try again Eyebrowsss! Not many chanccccessss left...Ename will let you fall, one time, one time!"
