i remember when i was a junior in high school i was first chair clarinet....but because i needed to take algebra again i had to switch classes making me go from first chair to last IT SUCKED!

i actually love em!! of course, i'm a tuba player and thees no competition in my section. so, yeah... 1st chair, woot!!

I hate chair tests..... I always freeze up and cant remeber notes and I forget my fingerings and I cant think
I still Have'nt gotten the frightness

Yeah, I get really nervous for the tests.
So it kinda screws me.
But it works.

And I remember in middle school I'd always do solos at the concerts.
My fingers would always shake insanely.
I was always surprised at how I got notes out because my fingers were shaking so much.
Good times.

And my college friend is writing a piece for flute.
And he wants me to play it so he can record it.
For a composition competition.
I feel so honored.!

Yea I've had a few different chair tests for me it depends on what we're playing. For the clarinets we have to do the selcted lines infront of not only our sections but also the: Bass clarinet, sax, oboe, and flute sections. So it's kinda nerve wreking. But when we played the chromatic I got 2nd chair to the only junior I even beat out a senior with that. But the next chair test we did all the scales one octive and because it wasn't all concecutive I messed up cause my pinkeys couldn't reach the keys so I got 6th of 9 but then 2 left so as of right now I am 5th of 7.
