-Kioshi's chest tightened as she came to the conclusion that the girl was here. That one! The one Halley was always talking about and the one who had... Her eyes narrowed for a moment, a feeling of loath sweeping throughout her. The two ears upon her head lowered, but were soon up so that she could hear better. What was the girl's name? She did not remember it.. It started with an S.. Didn't it? Turning back to Sarah the girl gave a nod.-
-Lukus seemed entranced by her talking of harpies. It was something new for him to think about.. Something other than his tapes of riddles that he played with every now and then or his book of braille.- "They are? Wow..." -Lukus whispered. He sounded as if he had been bewitched.- "Are they... Nice looking? Or are they like a monster? I mean.. Do they look like... Pretty birds?"

Sarah nodded, "I guess harpies live in flocks and males are leaders, like male lions are in a pride" she said, since in the lion families there was one male leader surrounded by female lions. "I don't know how they look, but in books they are vicious beasts who eat human flesh, but I think we can train Rip not to eat human flesh" she said, patting the egg, "baby harpies are kinda cute, I saw them with my mum when going on the rescue mission"

-Kioshi winced at the mention of something eating human flesh. That was a disturbing thought. No question about it! What type of beast ate humans? She liked meat.. But not that kind of meat. Her nose was wrinkled more.-
-Lukus remained as fascinated as he had before, clouded eyes glittering with childish curiosity as she explained things to him. Vicious monsters that devoured the very meat of men, women.. Whatever contained what was known as flesh? A small smile managed to creep upon his face.- "It's all very intresting." -Dare he say it? He'd found something that had rivaled his riddles.-
-Ew. Kioshi was still shivering, imagining a large bird with razor sharp teeth and glowing red eyes tearing her limb from limb and swollowing her. It was not a decent image and one she would have rather lived without. Eyes flinted to the egg, a shy grin crossing her face as she searched the room for a clock to check the time. She had to remember to watch that clock. She had lessons when the night came and thus she needed to make certain she had enough time to get home and prepared.- "Yes.. Int...resting."
-Lukus's smile grew a little more.- "I wish I could see one. They really sound incredible. Vicious or not! Very unique from how you describe them." -Thin fingers touched his shoulder, rubbing at it. See them. He wanted to see a harpy, just like he wanted to see this room he was in. The smile faded from his face, mouth opening slightly as if he were going to say something more.-
-Kioshi inturupted, finally finding her clock and noticing the time. In an instant she'd grabbed Lukus by the hand and had given a sheepish grin to Sarah. - "It's been.. Great talking to you! I'm afraid we have to get going, though."
-Lukus blinked. He wanted to protest. He was enjoying his time at this place. He was enjoying talking to this girl. She knew things he did not and exchanging information with someone was always entertaining. He was a boy who loved to learn. Questions swarmed into his mind about her brother the satir. He'd completed his interigation over the harpy.. Almost. He still wanted to know about this rescue she had mentioned-- A squeak escaped his throat as if to try and hold Kioshi a moment longer.- "Sarah, it's been fun talking to you!" -He chimed, stumbling a little as Kioshi began to move.- "I-I want to do it again some time." -His feet planted themselves onto the ground. What was the phone number.. He'd heard his phone number before..- "Our house..Number is-"
"It's 832-735-4943." -Kioshi finished for him. And with that she began to move, half pulling Lukus along with her. She gave a polite wave farewell to Sarah before hurrying out the door.-
-Lukus himself waved, hoping with all the hope he could that he was waving in the right direction. He didn't stop until they were out the door and he heard it close behind him.-

"Bye!" waved Sarah, smiling as they went away, "I'll remember!" when they called out their phone number and the quickly covered Rip with a blanket from her bag, just in case she wouln't get cold and then added, "hope to see you again sometime!" as they ran out of the door, they she took out a rather small animall book and began to read it, hummingh to herself.

Kuma had been watching the group shyly, not daring to come over even when one of them caught her eye. Now, as Sarah settled down to read her book, she dared to toddle over and try to make an overture of friendship. "H-hi. What're you reading?" The little demon girl definitely wasn't beyond socializing (what was Halloween without lots of friends going with you to get treats, after all?) but it always took her a little while to start things off.

Sarah looked to see a new girl walk over, "Hi!" she answered instinctively, "Just an animal book, its the third time I'm reading it but no one can get bored of these wonderful pictures!" she said, turning the book around for the demon girl to see a draw picture of a tiger jumping on a gazelle, "I like the drawing style, it makes it look so real!" said Sarah and then Added, "I'm Sarah Shakar by the way!"

"I'm Kuma," the little Kinder said, smiling happily at the other's friendliness. "Do you like animals a lot then? They're neat, even the kinda scary ones. It's fun to play pretend animals." She peers over at the book, shivering at the picture. "Poor gazelle."

"Pleased to meet you!" Sarah nodded, "I love animals! My mums a vet and I get to help her, I also want to become a vet!" said Sarah gleefully, "Scary ones are my brothers favorite, he says they're 'cool'" and then gazed down at the picture Kuma was looking at, "The mommy tiger needs something to feed its babies. . ." she said, in a loud whisper.

-He needed to be somewhere other than at home, just for a while.. Just for a little while. Just to avoid the awkward glances from Louis and, of course, the slight concern of Kioshi and Kit. He wouldn't talk about the night, and he certainly would not cry. There was no reason to cry.. So Louis was afraid to look at him and so he kept getting pelted with the question 'You okay?'.. Niether thing was reason enough to break down.
A sigh was emitted as everything began to process through Kouji's mind. Suddenly he was pleased with his decision to rush out the door and run away. Of course he was not really running away. He wasn't that afraid of his family. His knees were brought up to his chest and his arms wrapped about them to hold them tight as he pushed himself closer to the corner. In a way he wished he'd brought his sketch book and a pencil.. Had he done that then all of the thoughts rushing through him would have remainded dorment for a long while, which would have suited Kouji just fine! He would have rather had the thoughts never appeared. His knees were brought closer to his chest. Tired.. He felt tired.. But he couldn't sleep. No sleep. No sleep ever again. -

"Aaaaarhg." The fowl tempered angel stalked into the room, left eye twitching slightly. Family, Christmas, Chaya, blah. T'was the most wonderful time of the year, and Rene wanted to maul something. At least she was out of the house.
She slowed slightly at the sight of the angel in the corner. He didn't look in too good of shape, from the dark circles under his eyes to the bone wings. Rene approached him slowly, crouched down to be at eye level, and arranged her chains around her. "Hey." She called, peering at him.

-Kouji had been in the midst of berating himself for not thinking ahead when he'd left when the newcomer approched and spoke. Her voice caught his attention almost instantly. Both eyes franticly flickered up just to see who it was. Fortunatly, no one he knew personally.. Not that he knew anyone personally. He hardly talked, he hardly went out.. A brief moment passed and he calmed himself down a little.- "H..Hey." -He murmured before clearing his throat. His voice was rather hushed, although it was easy to hear.-

Whomever this guy was, he didn't exactly look like the kind of guy that was touchy feely. Most people would have placed a hand on his shoulder and offered a kind word, but Rene wasn't exactly touchy feely herself. Instead, she sat on the floor and looked up at him.
"Hmm." Looking him up and down, she settled back on his face. "Damn. You look like death warmed over." Not exactly the nicest thing to say. "I'm Rene, if you care to know."

-Kouji's eyebrows were knitted together at the comment. That seemed like a delightful thing to say. How he would have adored blurting out that he was.. He licked his lower lip and turned his head away slightly. He did not want to look into the eyes of another. Not at that moment.- "Wish I were warm.. I feel cold." -He stated weakly.- "Kouji.. My name is Kouji..." -The name was spoken with ease. As soon as each syllable had escaped his throat he released his knees and shifted so that he were sitting cross legged. Both hands were rested within his lap.-

No matter how much she pretended to be a cool, caculating person, Rene still had a soft spot for some people. When someone looked sad and tired, like Kouji was doing a very good job of, it made her 'Big Sister' mode kick in. Stripping off her coat, she laid it on Kouji's shoulders.
"You look more tired than cold, Kouji." She said gruffly.

-The gesture caused Kouji's eyebrows to unfurrow and raise. He did not question it, though. Indeed, he was cold! And something over him made him feel at least a little warmer than he had felt before. One set of thin fingers traveled the distance from his lap to shoulder to further pull the coat around him.- "Thank you." -He cleared his throat and told himself to give her a smile, at least a half one. The ends of his lips twitched and flipped up for a moment before they pulled back down.- "I'm not tired at all.. What makes you say I look it?"
