"Two months is good time! Will the baby be a boy or a girl?" Aylee giggled when the Ziggydog jumped, "A tank would be fun! My nephew could create the ammo for it! We could have lots of little Ziggydogs running around, though I hope they wouldn't try to conquer the planet."
And then Shammi wiggled her fingers, "I see! My fingers used to be funny too, I used to have webbed fingers, but I cut the webbing out. I don't suggest you try it, though." She grinned sheepishly, "We don't want a hurt Shammi!"

"They don't know. Is half-Eel baby right now. So, baby will breathe under water, with gills, like Aylee." Frankly, Shammi didn't understand about the silly eel men. However, Helly and Norny could kiss for a very long time. Their gill things were handy! Eri was jelous.
"ZiggyDogs do not take over the world. They protect. Even if he is small, my ZiggyDog protects me." Shammi gave him a little kiss. "And my Dragon-Cousin has threatened to get me declawed. I told him I would shove a fire extinguisher down his throat. We came to a compromise, the couch caught on fire, and there were hot dogs."

"Like the AyleeS," she corrected, "There's two of me. Well, sort of. My twin brother's name is Aylee too. It's complicated." It was, too. She often confused everyone she told about it. Kunny just ignored it, and introduced himself as Kunny to anyone his sister was likely to ever meet.
"Well, hopefully Shammi will never want to take over the world then, either! Because the Ziggydogs would have to take over the world in her name!" She eyed the Ziggydog. He WAS just the right size for her cloning machine, too.
"I've never set the couch on fire. Though I did set a friend's house on fire once. He's now living here with me. He's not a very happy person."

"Ah." Shammi nodded. "And, no, Shammi does not want to take over the world. I just want to live in my house and my family be happy, and sometimes for there to be cake." She was easy to please.
Ziggy watched Aylee back. He did not trust this human's look.
"Eri used to set lots of things on fire. And Draco too. Then Eri got fixed and Norn doesn't let her touch the stove anymore, so if I want brownies I ask him. But Draco likes to set stuff on fire, but sometimes he doesn't want to, but he falls asleep and then the drapes are on fire, and I make marshmallows and get yelled at because fires are not for the inside of the house and I should've told someone, but they won't let me have a bonfire outside and how am I supposed to make smores if there's no fire, and then we dance." Dancey dancey!
Aylee was fun to talk to!

"But the cake is a lie! The cake is ALWAYS a lie." Aylee had yet to meet a cake she liked. They were always too fluffy, or too spicy, or too... too... cakey. Yes, cakey. It was a word! Shuttup!
"I know the happy thing, though. I wish my family could be happy. But there's always something going on, and someone is always cranky. It's not a happy situation." She frowned. "My nephew likes to set things on fire. Not intentionally, but he likes to blow stuff up, and my definition that means setting SOMETHING on fire. He might get along with your Draco." Of course, she had no idea that the two had actually met already, a strange thing indeed. She really didn't keep good track of her family.

"But... I eated cake. How can it be a lie?" Ah, Shammi was confused.
"Draco has been away for a while. His family broke up, so he only comes back every once in a while. He's trying to find them." Poor Draco.

"...Because it is! All cake is a lie!" Aylee knew this argument was going nowhere, but cake didn't like her. Therefore it had to be lying about SOMETHING.
"That's not good. It's not a happy occasion when families break up. I should know." She ran a hand through her short hair, a sad look on her face, "My family broke up when I was ten. Or twelve. I don't remember anymore." She decided it was best not to mention that it was because her half-sister murdered their father, and was now intent upon murdering her and her brother as well. Those things were depressing to Aylee, and probably not good for childrens.

"Mmhm. He hasn't seen them ever since. He goes out and looks but doesn't find anyone, and then he comes back and I hug him." Shammi said, leaning against the porch railing.
She was an odd girl, for sure. She probably wouldn't be depressed by learning what had happened to Aylee's family.
"But my family has grow'd. Used to be just Shammi and Eri, but now there is a Norny-Angel-man-face and a Cutie-Pie Helly and a Fluffy-Rabid and a Skittery-Liam, and Ike, who is Shammi's bestest friend."

"Hugs are good," Aylee said again. And they were! The world needed more hugs, in her opinion. But for some reason society came to believe that touching was bad or embarrassing, and hugs were as well. That was just plain wrong!
"My family has grown a lot from what it used to be a long time ago." Well duh. "I've got lots of children, and friends, and room mates, and people who aren't related to me, but are still living here anyway. And an android! He's fun. But he doesn't like the rain, either."

"Shammi likes Androids. They're like Cyborgs, but almost. Can Shammi meet the Android? She will trade hugs!" Shammi gave good hugs that didn't claw or break or anything. She'd gotten better at that.

Aylee scratched behind her ear and stared at the rain for a moment, "Uhm. Like, uh, like... cleaning solutions and alcohol." It was a very weird smell, and there was probably the smell of metal in there somewhere, or electricity, but eh. He spent all his time cleaning or bartending. And while there was a small chance Shammi's nose would pinpoint Rian, but it was a chance she could afford to take.

Shammi sniffed and hummed, setting off. Okay, she was looking for someone who smelled like Eri did sometimes. Hrm!
She walked and walked until she poked her head in on a man with interesting hair who was cleaning. "Hello! Are you the android?"

Aylee followed after Shammi as the girl took off into the mansion, going through hallways and hallways. Man, her house was big. Some of the rooms needed to be remodeled, too, since she finally had ideas for some of them.
Ryuu had been cleaning a storage room when a very strange girl burst into the room. "Hmm? Why yes, I am. Are you lo-" he stopped when he saw Aylee, "Oh, Aileen, I did not see you at first. Is this a new charge?"
"Nope, just a new friend!" said Aylee perhaps too gleefully. She couldn't get over the fact that Ryuu called her Aileen, however. Yes, he was a polite person, but argh! It wasn't her name! ...Okay, it WAS her name, but still!
Ryuu set his duster to the side and looked down at Shammi with a smile, "It is a pleasure to meet you, miss. My name is Sasakura Ryuu."
