Alana chuckled, "I didn't realise I was such bad company!" She was joking obviously, she knew that wasn't what he meant but she couldn't resist. He had left it open and well she had to say it while it was fresh in her mind!

"I do know what you mean though, the days seem so empty and it so nice to curl up on a good branch and sleep the day away. It can be somewhat annoying though if others come along and are like well... making too much noise!" She chuckled knowing a few times when she had wished to sleep and was rudely awoken by some loud annoying creature, sometimes a leopard, sometimes not.

He chuckled a little bit at her reply, but he waited a moment afterward to see if she had much else to say. And when she finished he nodded with a kind smile, silently agreeing with her. "I've only had it happen to me once or twice, though, so I guess I've been lucky for the most part." His smile widened when he thought back to his meeting with a leopardess who was just passing through. Then he frowned when he thought back to that crazed lioness from a pride situated within the borders of the jungle.

Chui shook their images from his mind and glanced at Alana, then around them for a nice big tree they could possibly share. When he found what he was looking for, he turned and padded over to it and looked up its massive trunk before looking back at his new friend. "How 'bout this one? We can each take one of the low branches on either side. It looks pretty comfy, don't you think?"

Alana smiled and nodded as he spoke then turned to look at the tree.

"Last one there smells like a warthog!" She chuckled as she started to run over there, pouncing into the tree and stretching herself out across the branch, wriggling around a little to make herself comfortable.

"mmmmm Lovely..."

Her sudden challenge made his eyes widen, but before he could properly react, she was already up and stretching across one of his choice branches. Chui laughed it off, however, and followed after her at his own leisurely pace, settling on a branch on the other side so as to respect her space.

"Yeah.." he said as he yawned and stretched himself out, getting comfy before settling for a good nap. "Guess I'll see you in a little while?" he asked, trying to stay awake long enough to hear some sort of response. However, his laziness finally kicked in and he drifted quickly to sleep.

He'd have pleasant dreams, he knew.

Alana nodded her head.

"Yep, sweet dreams!" she chuckled a little before laying her head down on her paws and letting her drift off into a sweet sleep.
