The reason I joined, is because I'm tired of all the "I'm going to kill myself"
s**t.
I have friends who are "Emo" and think it's all about cutting your wrists and acting like the worlds going to end just because they weren't allowed to go to a concert.
It really disappoints me actually, I'm just glad there are people out here that actually know what it's like and can feel for me, you know?

I have friends who are "Emo" and think it's all about cutting your wrists and acting like the worlds going to end just because they weren't allowed to go to a concert. It really disappoints me actually, I'm just glad there are people out here that actually know what it's like and can feel for me, you know? Totally, man. My ex-girlfriend actually cut her wrists (or so she claimed, she actually used a paper clip to scratch herself with it) for the sake of having designs in her scars. Of course, they looked like s**t and it made her arms look like hell. That's total crap, if people do this s**t for the sake of a trend I want no part of it.

I keep trying to think of some personal experience that caused me to hate them, but the only thing I can even think of is this one girl at my school in junior high went all emo. One day she cut herself and went and bitched to all her friends about it and they all cried, so all day everyone was all crying and sad for her. Then later in the day this one girl got her a** kicked by some other girls, so everyone was crying about that. The whole day was ******** retarded.
Other than that, I just don't like them. The image, music, attitude and such, I just don't like it.

For me it was mostly the annoying music. (Pete Wentz is a disgrace to The Bass Guitar, His girlfriend and Rock music) I have a friend who would probably be considered "emo" but she doesn't b***h and moan about everything, and on the very rare occasions she has cut herself, it was for a legitimate reason, not because she couldn't go to a concert or something stupid like that. Plus she doesn't consider herself emo or try to be emo, she just tries to be happy. I think some of those "Emo" kids ought to learn from her, because she's got a pretty shitty home life but still keeps a smile.
