Verrier was a bit startled when Tale simply latched onto his paw like that. The way she was acting reminded him a lot of October when she was merely a child. He was the eldest of the four children Silverwind and Monday had and he had to live up to such a title. His cherub siblings weren't around too often, deciding it was more fun to play in the fluffy white clouds than on the mossy ground, but October was ground-born such as himself. Poor little child though- she was so absorbed with the others around her (such as this Tuuli) and got int trouble very easily. Maybe she and Tale would get along?
"Santa Claus?" He repeated to himself, almost amused at the idea. He denounced Santa as fake a long time ago. But perhaps she had not just yet come of this age.
"My family? Well, I suppose. I do not talk with my family very much, sad enough." He sighed, remembering the last time he even saw his parents. Too long it has been.

Her ears drooped discontentedly at his sigh, and small paws remained on his larger one while she considered over the words thoughtfully. He didn't talk to his family very much? She could not even imagine how that would make her feel. She needed to see her family at least once a day; without them, she would turn into an upset mess incapable of befriending anyone. And then he mentioned that it was sad, and her eyes widened to the size of plates, "My poor baby!" She pawed at the pads of his foot tenderly, as though to pet him comfortable, "That is entirely unfair. So completely unfair. Unfair to unfairness fullest. I will be your family, Verrier~ I'll be your chica and we can totally have tea parties with those cute little cakes, and talk about random things - like, like - how hideous nose-rings are!" But she knew that she would not be a very good substitute for family, which made her a tad bit upset. "I can make tea; I can make very good tea. Tea for two! Tea party for two! It would be..." She frowned, biting at her tongue quietly, "... It would be fun?"
She blinked purple eyes at him quietly, allowing his paw freedom by pulling her own two away. "Pfft... bleh. I mean, maybe you should go talk to your family; don't you miss them? I mean - of course you do, but if you do, you should just - talk to them, is all. Shouldn't you?"
Her tails flicked the littlest bit beneath her, and she pawed at air between herself and Verrier childishly. "We need to go on a butterfly hunt sometime, V. Together. It would be fun. And it's a difficult sport, because at one point you have to catch them, pounce them, but you can't hurt them. It's delightful, it is." A small change of subject. She felt awkward. Extremely awkward. Talking about grown-up stuff was hard for her, and her - so she claimed - little mind.

His eyes closed again as she mentioned being part of his family and gruff sigh came from his stomach. Great, they had just gotten off the idea of being together for ever and ever and ever and ever. Now they were on it once more. And tea-parties? It was all too frightening for him to handle. What would her parents think if an old Kitsusagi like himself would date their little precious daughter. Not too highly, quite frankly, he thought in discontent.
"My family...the only one I talk to from them is my little sister, October. You would like her I think- you two are very...creative in your imagination I believe." Yes, you would have to have a good imagination to believe that you and an older gentleman would be together in marriage.
Now she was talking about butterfly catching?! How fast did this girl go? Faster than the speed of sound possibly, a speed made quite impossible very easily.
"Perhaps one day we will, Tale. But it is getting late, isn't it? I must fetch my sister soon and take her home. She is quite...paranoid at times." Honestly she wasn't really that paranoid. But he needed to leave and think more on this situation. Think on it for a very long given time.

The thought of him leaving upset her, and she wondered thoughtfully if there was anything she could do to make him stay. But enough contemplation made her realize that keeping him from his sibling was selfish, and she had no right. Her ears flicked downward discontentedly as she rammed her head gently into Verrier's leg. "M'kay, Monsieur. I free you, I free you." She grinned up at him childishly, her white teeth flashing before she spoke again, "Buuuut... do you think, maybe... I don't know; I could talk to you again? I mean, I did rank you as number one on my Good List Thingy and..." Her tails drooped at the thought of never seeing him again, "I just don't know how upset I would be if I didn't talk to you after this, my dearest Verrier~" Had she done something wrong to deserve this? She had wanted to talk to him more... until her eyebrows grew to the dirt, and all her teeth fell out from old age.
Her amethyst eyes inspected him curiously before she turned away. "I should probably be heading home anyhow, huh~? Mama and Baba will be extra-duper unhappy and worried if I don't hurry back..." A frown whilst she ran her paw along the dirt childishly, "Wanna give me a romantic goodbye-kiss, Prince Verrier~?" The small female turned her head, and offered him yet another smile, though this time teeth were concealed.
"Juuuuuust kidding~!" And she ran off, leaving behind her Verrier, and her Milo without another thought. She would more than definitely be back for the gem later, but for now she was too distracted to even consider high-tailing it backwards so that she could drag the purple ball along home with her. Wonderment of whether or not she would see the other Luck sometime soon; and she realized that she already missed him.
... Oh well... there was always tomorrow.

Verrier smiled. "Of course we can talk again, dear. We live in a small world, with no limits. I'm sure that we can meet again- perhaps when you're a little bit wiser in your...ideas." He hoped she had. After all, a little child could never decide on love and if she said she could then she was a liar. And he was sure she hated liars...at least he hoped she did. There was a light crestfallen look still on Tale. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to lie to her about his sister.
"A-A what!?" He stuttered. A kiss, from him? And she was calling him Prince?! Just wonderful. Just when he was so sure she gave up on him at last. Damn! Damn it--oh wait, shes gone. He sighed again. Little children were such a bother. His eyes slowly trailed down to his feet. The little child had left her darling gem, Milo, at his paws. She seemed a little too preoccupied with her joke, I guess.
A sigh went through his lips, and he found himself rolling his blue gem with his paw while 'Milo' sat upon his back. "Don't worry...Milo. I'll give you back to Tale when I meet her again. Until then- Galaxy needs a friend."
Great now he was talking to the orbs. Just wonderful...
