Jishin Andy1989 I like Water Pulse better than Confuse Ray. It doesn't always get the foe confused, but it is also an attack. Whereas I prefer guaranteed Confusion. If it's bad enough that I want it confused, it better be confused! Can Lanturn even learn Confusion? *checks LeafGreen guide* Nope. It can't. Confusion is a good attack though. My Psychic-types usually have Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Confusion, and Psychic.

Confusion and Water Pulse only have a 10% chance of working. Point to Jishin/Domenic.

According to both my R/S strategy guides, Water Pulse is a 20% chance of Confusion. Not bad.
