That was better. The smile on the little girl's maw only widened now, glad that her brother had finally chosen to accept her affection, though obviously hesitantly. "Cross my heart," she responded, reaching him and maneuvering herself into his cautious embrace. A purr rose in her throat as she leaned against him gently, trying hard not to nuzzle as happily and playfully as she really wanted. Once as satisfied as she deemed possible, she pulled away, canting her head cutely. "Now, that wasn't so bad, was it?" Expectant, she nearly missed her mother's call. Ears flicked back, followed by the turn of her head. "What is it, Mommy?" she asked curiously, looking back and forth between her pale colored matron and brothers.
"I'm glad he's not too much like me," he revealed with a nervous sort of chuckle. "It's not... really fun living like this all the time." He tried so hard to get over it, tried to tell himself that he was being afraid for no reason. But when alone he felt scared. Most of the time he couldn't help it. Ears caught bits and pieces of the conversation outside, but not enough to alert him to anything different. "I know Avel's certainly not like me. She reminds me of her mother."

What a vain baby. Of course Spinelli would never even think of saying such, the brother saw it clear as day. But there was no flaw to that quirk, and Spin took great enjoyment of the little fact. Giving a great yawn, the black male....'slumped' over...right onto his brother. Of course this slump included full weight and arms going limp around Sanskrit's ruff. "Oh....my bad..." His tone was smooth and nearly honest, one that held virtue despite his little act. Knowing the ruckus the red kitsu would make, Spin slanted his ears back to his mother curiously..
Nothing was said to Sere's statement, being that Ronan could never try following his pawprints to give an opinion. Though his muzzle half curved in a grin. "Avel, eh? Heh, is that a good thing?" Another thing he wouldn't know. Was it something to look forward to, seeing such personalities in your youth? White eyes blinked as the adult turned to the others of the family, curious to how they were getting along.

The pretty boy almost cried outloud at the "sabatoge" of his fur. He wanted to fix his fur so badly, but the announcement his mother was about to make might be rather important. He didn't want to miss it, but at the same time he wanted to fix his fur. Oh, what's a beauty like him supposed to do? This was going to take hours to fix. Hours. All that time he spent making himself look presentable...wasted. Though he frowned at his brother for a short time, he didn't make a fuss over it outloud. Mother would not be pleased.
A huge grin lit up her face as she caught the attention of her children. Boy, were they in for a surprise! They were going to have even more siblings, a bigger family! Imagine that! She vaugely wondered what her mate would think as she spoke, "Well, you guys are going to have four more brothers and or sisters! They're still just eggs right now, but soon you'll have some baby siblings!" Her face lit up like a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.

Seeing the slump out of the corner of her eye, Avel turned back. She made a face at her brothers upon seeing the scene, jealous that she hadn't been the one with the opportunity to smother the red male with affection like that. Well, it would've been love on her part, anyway. Hearing her mother begin to speak once more, she returned all of her attention and was suddenly as bright-eyed as the elder femme. "Wow, Mommy! That's great!" She was already shifting excitedly at the thought of playing with a bunch of cute kits. She'd been a bit envious of the adults she'd watched from inside the HQ who got to play with the little ones.
Nearly jumping up, though she was already standing, she took off towards the HQ door, bounding in enthusiastically. "Daddy, Uncle Ronan!" Just what were they doing inside when Mommy had such an important announcement?! "Guess what Mommy just told us?" All three tails wiggled wildly. She was barely able to wait for them to answer.
"A good thing most of the time, I suppose," he answered with a sheepish laugh. It could be refreshing, all that energy. Or it could be tiring. Now that he thought about it, maybe his daughter was a bit crazier than her mother. He still couldn't understand why. That youthful energy had bubbled up early in her life and never left. Following his friend's gaze, he was barely quick enough to see the topic of their conversation barreling at them with such speed. Amber eyes widened and muscles stiffened, though he was able to hold his ground as she stopped before them and shouted. "Uhm." A curious glance was cast to Ronan. "I don't know, what?"

Affection, now that was one way they could put it. Maybe. Spinelli kept his heavy and limp weight bent over Sanskrit, just to pester the other male. Though when his mother spoke up, he slid off partially till he was sitting on his haunches, elbows and paws resting on the brother. His reaction was...subtle, but still there in its subdued nature. "Four siblings? Really now?" Well that was speedy. The dark male looked around curiously, as if expecting t osee the eggs roll by any moment.
"Ah." What else could he say to that? It was better than having bothersome kits then, obviously. And Sere with Akari seemed to be the perfect blend of neutrality for a family setting. So why did Ronan find that humorous? Ears narrowed as the femme daughter called out his fake name, Ronan instantly sighing with rolled eyes in humor. It was such an odd title, and he had hoped the kits would grow out of it. He watched as Avel skid to a close halt before them. Really close. Ronan canted his head with a raised brow at Avel, before glancing at Sere with shrugged shoulders.

Oh no, more siblings? As much as he loved the thought of having a bigger family, that probably meant more siblings to torment him. They would ruffle his fur purposefully, and it would ruin his most beautiful image. But he wanted to play with them, too! He only briefly played with his siblings when they were younger. That was before he grew so vain. So like a sheep, he made his way towards his uncle and father, sitting quietly besides the group.
Her three pale colored tails waved excitedly as she followed her children towards her mate and friend. She couldn't wait to see the reaction on her mate's face! The reason her child couldn't tell was because she already found new homes for her children. They would be in the hands of a good family. And well, Spin turned out rather well and mature living with his "Uncle" Ronan. Though she was not as close with those as with Ronan, she was sure they would raise them just as well.
