Tama's Basket, eh? I may have to look into that! I went looking for the gift card at Target yesterday with the new puppy on it, but they just had the old kitty one, and I don't want that. Or maybe if the old kitty thing is no longer redeemable, that card will give the new puppy! Anyway, I got a $10 card instead.
What's new with me, SV? Depends what you mean by new! Amber's kinda new, although she's only 10 months new as of today! LOL! Jason's new freakinhuge 120" projector screen in the basement is new, and he's all flipped out about that, but I'm still not comfortable with the amount of money it all costed (like $3100.)

EternalHearts fawN, are you serious? That is an INSANE amount of money! Yes. neutral But Jason keeps reminding me that I shouldn't think of it as $3100 because he sold his other (huge) tv to a friend for $800, so it's *really* $2300 (according to him.) (But what about the money we spent on THAT tv?)
Apparently it's top of the line, best resolution, biggest screen possible that pretty much takes up the entire wall minus the small space on the sides for speakers.
I joked that this projector is his next 17 or so birthdays. Then again, the 2005 mustang is like his next 200 birthdays! lol
I'm still in silent protest of the new projector which I didn't exactly approve or ok when he told me he was ordering it, but I couldn't come up with a good enough defense to object to it because he's been talking about getting this for years and did all the price lookups and reviews and recommendations.

Glad you liked! I had been out looking for a part-time job to help with spending money so my 'real' pay can go towards bills. Well, I work at a school, so it's kinda like an after school job...and I figured fawN's situation was even MORE relevant!

LOL! Well, this was most of our tax return money, so at least it didn't dip into normal paychecks. I also can't believe (although in a way, I CAN believe) that we sold Jason's 1966 Mustang to his bro-in-law's dad for $2500, and all that money went to pay off a credit card that had little things on it from here and there, so we didn't even have any extra money from that. And the $1500 I had leftover from a 2004 car accident settlement was kind of dipped into and dipped into when we'd run out of money in checking, so he still owes me that. Amber had $500 from my mom and $500 from my aunt which we were going to use to start her education account, but that was leant to Jason's brother Alan for all his financial troubles, so we'll have to wait on that too. Oh, money, money, money... at least Jason and I don't fight over money! I hear that's the biggest subject couples fight about!

MysticfawN Oh, money, money, money... at least Jason and I don't fight over money! I hear that's the biggest subject couples fight about! Fawn! I swear it sounds like you're describing my life. Only my hubby is the one worrying about how much things cost where I'm the one that goes out doing all the research seeing if we can afford it redface It's funny though how my hubby and I don't fight over money either. My parents do though... it seems like every time I see them they're arguing over $1. I can't understand WHY they do and they can't understand why we don't. xd
