Er, I don't know if anyone has said this on or if it's on mugglenet, but I've been re-reading the books, all of them (i'm on the thrid one), and In the second book Percy Weasley takes five points off of Gryffindor for Ron and Harry being in the girls bathroom. He was only a prefect, and in the fifth or sixth book they said prefects can't take away points.

OMG I actually found a real mistake last night.
On page 150 something in the US version of CoS, Percy is spelled Perry.

There has been many words missing from sentences, and I've caught many in her newest book. But then again, with giant books like those, I wouldn't be surprised about stuff like that happenning. 3nodding

AmunRa Has anyone noticed any mistakes in the books or even in the movies for that matter. I was reading the fourth book today and when Harry writes to Sirius about his name appearing out of the Goblet of Fire it says:
"I don't who put my name in the Goblet of Fire, but I didn't do it."
The word "know" is missing. Has anyone else noticed this mistake? (I have the canadian, hardcover edition) I've noticed that for awhile, but stuff like that happens in all books

The Fluff At the end of the fourth book it says the carraiges are still horseless... when in reality, at that time, Harry should be able to see the thestrals because that was after Diggory died. Please ignore my horrid spelling... i agree with you. Harry should have been able to see the horses then. *shrugs* JKRowlings makes up her mind about how the books go not us.

but that's just me...
