Chalk? What was this contraption? Dia took it curiously and stared at it, rubbing her fingers on it before taking them away and staring at her fingers curiously.
In silence, she glanced up to Michael and held up the chalk, tilting her head quizzically. It was no wonder that she wanted to know what the thing she held was.

Michael blinked and then motioned with his head towards Ophiera, who was bent over the ground, starting to draw. Her chalk was pink, and she was busy drawing a cat - or something vaguely like it, anyway.
She glanced up, grinning, and tapped the ground with her chalk. Draw! Drawing was fun, and Dia should be having fun.

You... drew with it? Curiouser and Curiouser!
Moving her chalk over the ground, Dia slid it over it, then scrunched up her face when she realized it didn't make much of a mark, pushing it onto the pavement as she drug it. There, there was a clear line! The green girl glanced over to Ophiera and slid to sit, thinking for a moment before drawing a diagram on the ground; not anything like a child should draw, but rather complex in design.
Too bad she didn't know what it was.

Ophiera was drawing curly whiskers on her 'cat', which while highly imaginative lacked a little in execution, when she glanced over at Dia's drawing. Her happy smile immediately turned to an open-mouthed awe-gasp, and she stopped drawing, dropping her chalk and crawling closer to stare at the design. It was... it was like something from a book! So detailed! So pretty!
She looked up at Dia again, smiling a bashful little smile this time. She was obviously quite impressed with her new friend.

Glancing over to Era's drawing, Dia shook her head and began to erase her own, coloring in most of it and starting to draw larger. She had to keep it simple, right! Not... complex things that others would question.
Dia began to draw a large fish.

Ophiera pouted. The diagram had almost all gone away! But she could see parts of it, still, so she scooted around the stone they were drawing on and began connecting the bits of lines she could see. ... It didn't really look the same, though, and she sighed soundlessly.
After a little pensive staring at the not-so-great diagram, she looked over at the fish. It was large. And it was fish-like, quite definitely. It also looked like it needed some color, so she leaned in and began coloring in part of the body.

Looking briefly at Era and giving a small smile, Dia continued to color as she finished her section and stood up, glancing over. It sounded like someone was coming.

Ophiera colored for a few more seconds before noticing that Dia had stopped and moved. Pausing, she glanced up at the girl, head tilting to the side questioningly. It took a little bit before she heard the sound that Dia heard - and then she put down her chalk, standing up and glancing over at Michael.
Michael, meanwhile, was determined to get some work done, and so was diligently poking away at his blackberry.
