For non-humans, Don't I split all XPs between 2 classes, and use the best ability for each class of a level you've obtained? Like, if I'm the Fighter/Mage above, I keep my fighter Hit Points and To Hit, while gaining Mage spellcasting and certain saves when mage gets to that level.
You know what, unless we really need a wizard I'd rather play Ranger most, and Cleric second.

Well, Ranger is under Warrior. Also look through the kits. you can't multi-class but it makes things more interesting.

What are my options for rolling up stats? I'd prefer to just roll a D12 and use the chart in the ranger book, so I can be sure to play a ranger. Are you using Non-weapon proficiencies or the skill system mentioned?

Just so I don't have to have verification, You have 73 stat points, base of 0. That gives you an average of 12 with one 13. And we'll be using Non-Weapon Prof's

Okay, after finding the minimum scores for elves and rangers... I have 3 points left to distribute. I'll mark the ones I did that with stars*.
Str 14 * Dex 13 Con 15 * Wis 14 Int 9 * (so I can know 2 languages) Cha 8
I'll edit a full character sheet into this later.
