Whoever loves Skor bars and chewy cookies, I have the recipe for you! I Tried this, and I loved them! they lasted 2 days in my household. o-o;

I suggest going to the bulk barn and getting skor bits. The rejected bars from the factories, because they broke. ^_^ You guys have bulk barns down there right?

I made those healthy banana cookies this morning, and they're delicious! <3

I found that cooking them for 20 minutes wasn't quite long enough - I know this isn't my oven's fault. I didn't measure the oil accurately and just judged it by sight, so I think that might be what did it, also possibly because I made the cookies bigger than in the recipe. Idc they're so yum it must be sin

Lesson learnt: when adapting a recipe, no matter how slight, take all factors into accout .___.;;

My Chocolava Cookies Recipe!

Ingredients
1 1/3 c all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 c granulated sugar
1/4 c trans-free margarine or butter, softened
1/3 c packed brown sugar
3 lg egg whites, lightly beaten
1/2 c cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
Confectioners' sugar, for rolling

1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

2. Combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa, baking powder,
and salt, breaking up any lumps of brown sugar. Stir in margarine until
mixture is well combined and crumbly. (This part can be done in a food
processor.) Add egg whites and vanilla extract. Stir by hand just until
dough comes together.

3. Place a few heaping spoonfuls of confectioners' sugar into shallow dish.
Roll dough into 1 1/2" balls, and then roll balls into sugar to coat. Place 2"
apart on baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake 14-20 minutes,
until the cookies are crisp around edges but still soft in the middle. Transfer
to rack to cool.

My family really liked these, and I hope you all do, too! ♥

Hehe.I have more but I havent tried them yet. These are some of the easy ones. Im pretty sure everyone can do. Because even I can do them. lol

I wanted to make the banana cookies but I went to town and forgotten to buy bananas. lol. So I made the almond cake instead. Which almost got burnt because I was typing this. xD. Im so useless.

Sorry no pics. There wasnt any pics when I got them online. And mine looks too ..umm...not so presentable to take a photo of. lol

Also I suggest maybe add a post with conversion of like what was it called....
umm...

like 1 cup = 16 tbsp
and 350F = 180 degrees = gas mark 4

(I dont have a weighing scale so I always have to convert it to tbsps....and my oven is gas mark so it really confused me when I had to make the almond cake. Coz I had no idea what gas mark 350F was. I went online and searched but maybe it might be easier to put all the convertion here?)
