Twist nodded at Alas. "I shall have word with him later on that note." She seamed to trail off, as if she was making a mental note to tell Wazzam to have his brother not accept the position. If Adolfo was beta then there would be less pressure on Alas to take on duties to the pack therefor allowing her more personal freedoms- and she couldn't have that. "Though I think Alas-" And she chuckled. "Not only would it be aquward for him since your not his mate...I don't think the pack is quite ready to live in the shadows.
She gave a smirk at Alas as if reasuring that she was doing this more for evil purposes then kindness; the type of smirk only she would pick up on. "I just think your nervous to have a task so great though. I understand leading can be quite hard. But you've always insisted that you know so much about people- so I only wanted you to share that. Make us all closer together, family."
Although after Alas left the idea of Adolfo being beta sounded quite appealing. But she would never allow Alas to know that.

Alas watched Twist almost as if she could sense the way the stormy female assessed her request and dismissed it. Of course she wouldn't want Alas to have another beta beside her, then she couldn't hightail it out of there.
"I'm sure Adolfo is much too mature to feel awkward over such a minute detail, and there's nothing wrong with his shadows. I for one believe Adolfo has a special...talent, if you wish to unite us Twist you must embrace each and every skill no matter how unique or seemingly trivial."
She nodded softly and relaxed back a bit she had tried to give Twist advice, tried to make her see reason, but now she knew it was futile. Her words fell on deaf ears, and now it felt to her that the rest of the pack was against her as well. Still she held her head high determined to make the best of things until the worst came around. When the time came, she would save what innocence she could and flee, hopefully with her life.

"And again it's up to him since I have already apointed my beta- but again you've always lacked faith in my decisions Alas." She shook her head then wavered her tail behind her as if she had made it quite clear what she was aiming at. Every word the pink fluffball now said agaist Twist would be another black mark agaist her in the eyes of the pack. She smirked. "Alas trust in me this time. I know what I'm doing."
How could she not since backstabbing was one of her strongest suits? "All's you have to do is make us a family; since thats what you've proffessed as your strength. You know I lack in that department being you are one of the few who know of my past. And I've known you the longest- your my friend..." She rolled the word lightly over her tounge as if it got caught on her lips. "Trust me you have nothing to worry about. Just do what you do best; and if you need help you always have me and Wazzam to look up to my dear."
She then turned to face the pack and prompted Alas to do the same. "Now is your chance to bend these eager minds the way you want." Again another small smirk seamed to beam threw her pursed lips. Oh this was going to be fun.

"Never a lack of faith dear Twist...since I know your troubled past I've simply always insisted you allow yourself to be open to all options, where you may have been misguided by your youth. Now though with Wazzam and me to help you I'm sure the pack will thrive." She knew the tactic Twist was using, how aptly named the stormy female was. She twisted everything until it was as dark and dangerous as her pelt.
"Your like a daughter to me Twist, it will be my pleasure to unite us all under your leadership and aid you in any time of need. As for bending minds, I'll leave that to you and wazzam, though I believe everyone here can think just fine for themselves." She kept her smile in place and moved up to lovingly nuzzle Twist, there was no ulterior motive, it was a goodbye for her. Only sorrow reflected in her eyes, the hope she had once for the teenage alpha was dashed away.

A change in Alas? Ah so she did see where this was going. It's not that she underestamated the fluffball; she just didn't think it was all too posible that she would go agaist her; on her own accord. The fluffball was a follower more then she seamed to lead anything. Though it was a slight suprise to her she let it aplty roll off her shoulders as if it was nothing.
"I wouldn't call it bending- as I would influence my dear Alas. As I've always let my pack think for themselves in any situation they are in. I have no right to tell them how to think..." She then paused and finished the statement in her own mind. Just mearly guide them the way I want them too. She allowed her tail to wumfph plesently back and forth as Alas nuzzled her. She still had to keep apperances- at least to Alas anyway. It wasn't as if she actully wanted the pack to like the fluffball - or think that she liked her. It was definatly going to be a hard game to play. But if she won she'd win a handsome throw rug for her cave.

Adolfo sat back and rolled his eyes at the proclamation on the pack living in the shadows. The darkness didn't like that idea any better then he did, that would ruin the night and it's peace, besides that leave the pack open to day time attacks. Something Adolfo knew Twist would stand against on her own.
He watched the show between the two females with careful eyes. He figured at least his father, brother and Ajax would at least see some sort of power struggle as well. It was evident there was something more between the words and actions of the two.
Adolfo knew how much Twist disliked Alas, and how much Alas struggled to stay optimistic. Not that he was taking either femme's side, he was more concerned about the repercussions the pack and his loved ones would feel about this.
Laying down in the shadow casted place listening to the words shared between the two, he couldn't help but perk his ears up at the mention of beta. What type of game was being played here though?
Rome looked and listened to the show in the middle of the clearing. It seemed like the pack was very interesting indeed, but still it bothered Kattana something fierce. She didn't have to say a word, he could just tell by her slumped shoulders and lowered head.
Looking at her bright orange son and the announcement of Alas being proclaimed Beta she was shocked. Didn't the healer say she was leaving? Oh, wait that was after she found the good in the pack, or saved what was good, whatever it was the announcement was a shock to the healing femme.
Rally had started to plot out her course of action. Twist wanted the pack to act more like a family, well she would have to kill Rally first. Something was off and the tricolored teen didn't appreciate that her sister, her only connection to another had been kicked out of a pack that was suppose to be a family.
With a roll of golden auds Rally stood up and spied her oldest brother in the birth of two trees. "Adolfo," she whispered with a plan seizing her quickly.

Alas moved down from Twists side and headed over to Rome and Katanna, she held a fondness for the depressed mother. She gently nuzzled her checking to see that she had been eating at least. "I hope your well Katanna..." She gave her a reassuring smile.
She turned towards Adolfo and tipped her muzzle respectfully, the ivory and ebony male was not so much her student as her equal, she was certain that with his quick memory and her guidance he would do a service to the pack when she was forced to leave. It would be soon, that much she knew for both life and death stirred in the Agua Azul Pack.

Kattana looked up to see Alas come closer to where the small silent family sat. Looking from the healer to her refilling out frame Kattana nodded, "I am doing better," she confessed and looked to the stern eyes of Rome.
He had came down after she spoke to Wazaam s few months ago and was making her eat again. Even if he didn't know what exactly willed the female to do something healthy for herself, he was glade that she was just eating and putting on weight again. Kattana wanted to look like an actual wolf and not a nightmare for when she had grandpups, which seemed closer then anyone else in the pack could fathom up.
Rome head erect and only glancing at Kattana so often, also spotted Adolfo in his apparent apparition to the family he left for the dark woods. It wasn't a proud choice that Rome had allowed his family to fall apart and like Rally, Rome had looked for his other daughter, but found out about her mouth and the excommunication in the pack.
With a sigh the male watched the scene and noted something else in the air. It was a thick scent, but then again it was familiar, the winds had changed and the orange and white male looked around himself from the corner of his emerald/jade eyes.
"Well look what the daylight drug out," Rally chided with a bitter tone new in her voice. "Adolfo, I know that you have the last place marked where Shelby left the pack. Tell me where she has gone." Down and straight to the point, the bitter and unlistened to story of her sister's banishing had made the teen show the killer ambusher side more.
Adolfo looked to Alas and bowed his head, before Rally came up and start to whisper short and sharp demands. Blinking his green eyes at his sister's sudden attitude change the male shook his head. "Ralphina, I'll show once this meeting thing of the pack is over. Have patience sister, I'm sure Shelby isn't far from us."

Alas looked at Rally and gave her a soft reassuring smile. "Your sister is safe and sound in my friend Crunch's pack." She nodded once more to Adolfo, there were things she had to tell him, ideas forming in her mind that seemed a mixture of right and wrong. She had to share them with him, since she would entrust her healing abilities to him, she would not dare taint that trust by keeping things from him. It was dangerous though, if she spoke to soon he would tell Wazzam, if she spoke too late Twist would have a chance to bend his mind and ear.
Alas gave Katanna one more reassuring nuzzle and slipped towards the back of the others her eyes trailing over them, she had come to feel so deeply for some of them, yet others seemed strangers to her. She wished she knew how and what had driven a wedge between the families, what compelled Twist to act in her cruel manner. Could it be fixed? Would the puppies bring a change for better or worse?

Ajax waited and listened, when the pup went to Adolfo, so did his eyes. Clenching his jaw the older male looked away and to Twist to concentrate more on what she had to say than the others. Once there was a moment however he cleared his throat to hopefully call some attention before something else started.
"Pardon me... I believe that I can be good help if I was given premission to have a bit more... Say so... Over the males that'd like to call them self defenders of this pack. I have the experiance, strength and will to build and command an army under of course our Alpha and Alphine's close supervision and premission of every move..." He wanted to stay away from using the word 'power' because it was far from what he was looking for. Leader, was more the term he preferred.

Twist watched as Alas settled with Kattana and continued to talk with her. Oh how she loathed the pink mutt and her mouth. Not to mention she seamed to be bringing up Crunch's pack more and more towards Rally whom she knew was quite hostile towards her and her brother. Only too soon would she spring her trap and oust that curr- or eat her. But she supposed she'd be all fluff and nothing else- chewy and disgusting. Probally more to Algoma's taste then hers. She'd have to make sure she didn't kill 'it' so that her lynx compainion could have her fun as well.
"I have no problem with that Ajax. You have taught Wazzam to be a fine warrior and so I trust you can keep the pack safe and in order as well..." Power was one thing that Twist seamed to throw out like it was candy- and on the other sence the more power that the others held...the more she seamed to have over them. But Ajax had a point he's be able to weild the pack into a fine weapon that she could lead into dominating Crunch and anyone who went agaist her. "You'd make a good leader." She stressed the word since thats what the other was trying to dabble at so lightly.

Wazaam had kept to himself. Keeping his ears open, but his mind secure. He wasnt going to be listening to too much in this meeting. Everything was going a different way than he had seen it.
However, his ears did perk when he heard Twist's words to the older male called Ajax. Now Wazaam had never worried about Ajax before.. But the words Twist uttered.
You'd be a good leader..
He growled a bit, and trotted over to Twist and Ajax, where he looked over to Twist with very dominant eyes. It was apparent that Wazaam was going to use this time to pull rank.
"I don't think I like the idea of him training the pack.. Im a warrior now. I shall do it."

Ajax was in the process of about to thank Twist and bow his head to her but as his pupil decided to pull rank over him he stood and watched. Should he speak up and say something while trying to be as respectful as possible or let things lay? Perhaps there was a middle ground he'd be able to discuss with Wazaam? Granted Wazaam had become a fine warrior, but to learn was one thing to teach was a completely nothing. The transformation that the wolf had taken almost right infront of the older wolves eyes was quite impressive though, this couple was so unique it was interesting to watch.
Deciding that now would be a good time for Ajax to keep quiet he simply submitted his head down to the alpha since he was not trying to overstep any boundaries and stayed in his place still awaiting for his family to return to the group meeting. If Twist believed that Ajax would be better suited for the position, or at least maybe as some type of consiglieri or right hand?

Twist watched as Wazzam seamed to be showing his true colors now that he was older. Ah somthing she liked- but something so unexpected at the same time. He was actully starting to think for himself; which could be quite a problem if he soon started to outrank her. But for now she would play into it. "Nobody could be a better leader then you m'dear. But he dose have some skills that only older warriors might know. Prehaps let him help you? I've already seen you surpass your father in strength..." She kept that last sentance down low so that only Wazzam would hear it.
"And wisdom; and already your a much better father- and our litter hasn't even been born yet..." She again kept her voice down low but continued to stroke his male ego to a point he would see her logic. "That's why your my mate and not him." She then gave him a reasuring nuzzle and the chin and a lick to the nose. "Plus it be nice to have another pair of eyes to watch the borders when 'we' are busy..." She again was reffering to the litter she had growing in her belly.

Wazaam still didn't look pleased, but he gave a gruff nod. He was right.. He wasnt sure why he had become so dominant.. but then again.. He had almost expected it. He was the pack leader, with Twist, and he was the safety of the pack.. He wouldn't have some older male trying to one up him.. He was already very interested in the pack life... He wasnt about to let it pass him by.
"I shall listen to you, my very smart mate.. I shall let him train with me.. But he is to be.. Somewhat monitored."
He merely meant that now, Ajax was being watched closely by Wazaam.. And any throne taking measures Ajax might behold, would be seen by the alpha.
He liked Ajax, really he did.. And deep down, he knew better than to think Ajax to take his Alpha-hood.. But he was cautious.. He was being a good wolf indeed..
